Happy you left the grids on, that’s what made it for me. Only painting for myself but considering moving on with a sprayer and stepping up my game as I really do enjoy doing it. I’ve watched many furniture vids, but subscribed here. I subscribe here because i know the bottom line is to make a living. But what is important to me is the fact, you love what you are doing. It shows in the way you approach each item as if you were doing it for yourself. Have been silently watching your journey from the beginning and find you very inspirational. And lastly, I will still be here when the time is right 🤰👨🏽🍼cheering you along.
Thank you for always remembering there are a lot of us newbies out here and we really appreciate the way you take time to teach us the steps to furniture flipping and explain all the different equipment and paints and finishes you are using and why. You’re the best!! And we love the creative comedy factor Neiman brings to your videos. So fun to watch you guys!!😃🩷👏👏
These nights stands were definitely older and a unique style…but adding that cool Color and stained top just brought them into the modern times for sure. Good job 🎉
These turned out really pretty! My only thing I would have done differently is to start off the cleaning by vacuuming all that dust. Especially when there are grooves so it doesn’t goop up in them. It’s always so nice when you show us how to use the sprayer. I don’t know how many times I watched you using the sprayer until I got up the courage to use my Wagner. lol! Keep on putting these types of videos out there. It’s what got me following you in the beginning! ❤️
I just started watching your videos and enjoy the paint coloring and brands of paint. However the pine wood top is, for me a woodworker, is splotchy, a character of pine. I use mohawk toner sprays to blend the colors. I also pre treat pine to prevent the uneven stain. Like I said I do enjoy your color brand information. Thank you for your time
They are gorgeous! Wow, I wouldn't have changed a thing--the color combo is so chic--love the stain color with the blue and the black industrial handles. 🙌
First time viewer. If I want to get sprayer, would I be able to use it on walls too? Or would still need to get a bigger sprayer ? Or just roll the walls? Hope that makes sense. Just have some projects I want to try and it would be nice if one device would do it all. Love watching you work.
Gorgeous! I loved that the tops were pine…my bedroom furniture is pine, and I’m going to stain the top and paint the bottom…so I got to see potential color! TY! This was so timely for me! Cindi (from WV). ❤
Love the color! Glad you had enough to get them both done with the paint you had. The 1st and only time I’ve use my sprayer, I ran out of paint on the 1st coat, I’m sure it was user error and the flow was too much and used it up quicker. Thankfully I had a color (well 2 combined) that I was able to match, but I got scared and brushed it on. LOL Hopefully this fall (I live in FL) that I can try my sprayer again when it cools off.
Man! It’s so interesting what a bit a difference a bit of paint really can make in the style of a piece! This was so so in the original color, but they absolutely sing now! Great plan!! Looks soooo gooood !
These turned out so nice!! I love the colors you combined for this effect- gorgeous color ❤. The stained top with the protectant coat is perfect ❤. Congratulations on the sale 👍🎉
And the hinges were painted. I wonder if the buyer regrets the purchase after they got them home and noticed all of this, plus the back etc not being painted.
There was overspray on the outside of the drawers' sides. Is that acceptable/typical for resale? I guess it could have been protected with the same thing you used to protect the top after you sanded it. I was just wondering if the extra effort would have been worth the time. I love your site, ❤. I'v been watching for a while and have learned a ton! Thanks!
Very pretty!!!! I recently retired from teaching and am starting small projects. Do you do your work in your home garage and then meet buyers at a separate location for pickup? Thank you!
I like these a lot. Turned out great. My only issue I personally have with them is the inside of the doors were not painted. Had I been the buyer and I showed up to purchase them and I opened the doors I’d of been very disappointed to see no paint. I would have either asked you can you paint the backs of the door or can we knock some money off. $400 is still not a cheap price. So I think if you’re paying that sort of money and also paying for a “bespoke” service then you at least want the doors painting. I don’t even like that you didn’t do backside of the piece. I personally would have and I do on all my pieces that sell. Yes I kind of get the argument for not painting it. If it’s up against a wall who’s going to see if it’s painted or not? But to me when my clients come to pick up their piece and look around everywhere, then I have no worries thinking oh no I didn’t paint there. And it all looks professional . But hey that’s just me and the way I work, we’re all different. I loved the blue colour & also loved the combo of the blue and dark wood top. Great job Lauren.
How well do the hinges hold up after painting them? I thought you'd remove them before painting. Does the paint wear off the hinges when you open and close those doors?
Hey Lauren! Thanks so much for your videos - I've learned a ton. I have a quick-ish question for you (not sure if you still read comments or not) - I see the Wagner detail nozzle description says it's for thinner material only. Some paint, like Wise Owl, is on the thicker side. I have a regular hand-held Wagner sprayer - would I need to thin the Wise Owl before spraying with the detail nozzle or is my sprayer just underpowered for something as thick as Wise Owl paint? I am also looking into your course, but this question is top of mind in the meantime. Thanks very much :)
What do you do to touch up the "velvet"-y lining in the drawers before selling? I'm sure they collect some dust and debris even before you got them which a vaccuum can't get up.

That blue combined with the dark top is really beautiful but Neiman doing the Bunny Hop was the best.

Those look amazing! Curious to see why you didn't paint the bottom, back, and insides of the nightstands?
The only thing I would do differently is paint the inside of the doors. But they turned out really nice.

I agree! I always vacuum the dust and whatever else has accumulated in the piece. Then the cleaning isn’t as messy.
again masculine and classy understated always good
I love those night stands. Way to go girl ❤
Looks very pretty. I like the wood stain

LOVE the color - very rich ...not loving the stain color, choice of hardware was spot on....

I love the color combo from that blue paint and the gel stain!
Gorgeous! I loved that the tops were pine…my bedroom furniture is pine, and I’m going to stain the top and paint the bottom…so I got to see potential color! TY! This was so timely for me! Cindi (from WV). ❤

GORGEOUS . . . as is all your work. Thank you!

Wow Lauren, these are beautiful! I just love the colour!
I love those nightstands. The colors are perfect ❤
Is there a reason you didn't fill in the "dings" on the front? The matt paint finish makes it noticeable to me. Love the stain with that color.
And the hinges were painted. I wonder if the buyer regrets the purchase after they got them home and noticed all of this, plus the back etc not being painted.
Those look like old school Pier1
I love the color combo. Great job.
Looks so much better. Wish you would show how to clean out your sprayer. And do you clean your sprayer out between coats?
Lauren these turned out beautiful. I love the color and stain ❤❤❤

Love the blue!
Beautiful and great explanation.
They turned out beautiful!! Loved the stain and color choice. I don’t see the link for the zibra brushes you used. Can you add? Thanks!! 😊
Love this transformation ❤ Perfect 👌
You have inspired me to try to flip a set of night stands.
They are beautiful ❤️
Love them both!!!
Excellent color combination! I thought they’d sell quickly because of the beautiful blue color mix. And the stained top - can’t go wrong there.
Beautiful
They turned out beautiful, but why aren't the backs of these flip done too?
Love them!! ❤
Beautiful work! What was your total time spent on this flip?
Do you always spray your hinges? Does the paint wear off of the hinges over time?
Yes it does, I speak from experience
Beautiful. I love the color
These look awesome!
Very pretty!!!! I recently retired from teaching and am starting small projects. Do you do your work in your home garage and then meet buyers at a separate location for pickup? Thank you!
Nice! Really nice!
It's beautiful!! Glad you didn't take out the tictactoe boards! Lol
My favorite color is navy blue and if I was in your area I would buy them!!
Gorgeous

There is no reason to paint inside if it’s in good condition. And no one does the back. It’s a waste of product
@@fortmacmom3122that’s not true. As she said she paints the insides, I wouldn’t pay that much for nightstands if they weren’t painted.
Beautiful
I have a question what do you with the cardboard that you used for the bondo how do you dispose it? They turned nice 😊
toss it
thank you!
I love the color! What is the name of the color that you used? And the brand of paint used?
I was concerned about the black hardware but it looks good. Love the color combo.
How well do the hinges hold up after painting them? I thought you'd remove them before painting. Does the paint wear off the hinges when you open and close those doors?
Nice night stands!!!😊🎉❤

Zebra brushes aren't in the description that I could find....please list and supply the discount code. Love the nightstands and your channel!
Love the blue color but you need to give it a name.
Very nice
