It’s will only return to home when it’s not at the home point all ready. So when you where doing a return to home you where all ready at the return to home position. Try flying it away from the take off point about 50 or so feet away then do a return to home.
yes, and it also goes to altitude and then find a path, then comes home...we figured this out and released another video - sorry for my confusion!!! Thanks Richard!
Not sure if anyone has mentioned, but return to home will raise it to a safe hight and completely return it to its original take off spot. No pushing sticks anywhere. It will also do auto flips and fly upside down with no touching except the correct first input and then hands free.

Well, I got one. I LOVE IT!! This thing's great! I haven't even tried any of the 3-d stuff, but to be able to actually not worry about crashing makes me able to work more on my orientation, which is where I have the hardest time. Not having to worry about altitude is so awesome too. Can concentrate on orientation. I don't know about anyone else, but That's the part I have the hardest time with. This heli is a joy to fly around, and look like you know what you're doing. lol I know, I hear the "Real " heli pilots talking down on that, but ya know what, I have nitro helis from 25 years ago I never got past just hovering cuz they were a bit to handle for a newbie I was back then. Also big machines are intimidating too. (Raptor 30, and Scheduae or however ya spell that, 60. Anyway, if anyone's having any worries about this thing, don't! buy one, you won't regret it! I will say that mine takes about 1-1/2 to 2 mins to grab a satellite signal, where this one seems to grab it pretty quick. I'm getting 9-1/2 to 10 minute flight times which is fine, with about 36% battery left. Thanks for the great review Brian and Camera crew too.
If you have a hard time getting GPS signal, download the app and run through the calibration. I did that and it seems to of solved the problem of taking forever to get a GPS signal. You can fly it while it’s flashing at about 2 m high but be very careful because it reads the terrain and if you fly it off of the driveway over the grass it could go a little crazy. I learned that the hard way with mine.
Hum, looks like the bar has just been raised. Manufactures take note. That is the first heli that I would consider, even at that price. But since I no longer deal with Banggood I'll wait for other manufactures to catch up or distribute that model.
As someone who started with a 230 Smart and smashed it to bits a couple times…$450 comes up real fast. The wind just sends it into a new zipcode so damn fast…Wish I got this first, I have a FW450 on order now
37:10.. A drop of CA on the threads would work for me. I think the thing that would throw me the most is the collective / throttle stick in the middle.
Very nice! I have the FW450 v2 on order and are really looking forward to it. The GPS assisted safety mode will be perfect for first time RC heli pilots like myself. Also ordered an Eachine E150 which will be cheaper to fix if I ever crash it, haha.
@Thomas Brock Wise words there doubtlessly based on personal experience. Yep, while the E150 has some safety features to help novice pilots it doesn't have the full suite like the FW450 (and FW200). Seems kinda funny to me that I'll be learning the basics using a larger more expensive heli before eventually progressing onto using the smaller and cheaper one, lol.
Samda GoGo - Yeah, there's an auot-leveling feature on the E150, but you can turn it off...so make sure NOT to do that until you're good and ready to do it. Good luck ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC Sound advice, thanks. I recently bought RealFlight 9.5S with the Spektrum Interlink controller but are having trouble with it due to there being a major input delay.
