Just want to note that research encounter Pokemon do have a 10/10/10 IV floor so the IVS can sometimes be less than perfect for GBL. However, you can mirror trade to attempt to reroll IVS and also perfect PVP IVS are mostly relevant at higher level of play so you can still have a lot of success with less than perfect IVS.
If you also happen to have Dusk Mane Necrozma, you can use its special effect to summon special Pokemon, and that way you can catch Alolan Exeggutor which is grass/dragon type, and Tyrunt which is rock/dragon, and it will count towards the Catch a Dragon-type Pokemon research. And yes, while you're basically wasting three Necrozma candy to complete one research, keep in mind you're still aiming to get one relatively strong Dragon-type Pokemon with a 10/10/10 floor IV. To me it seems like a fair exchange
I did the Spin 3 Pokéstop research and caught both hundo male & female Ralts within span of few days. Just in time for mega Gardevoir raid and gonna keep another for future mega Gallade hopefully !
That's because in pvp, having a 0/15/15 iv means that you cp will cap at higher values, making your pokemon tankier. It's because cp value is highly contributed by the attack iv, so having low or none helps you keep upgrading to the higher cp, thereby increasing the hp of the pokemon. But keep hundos, they're good for raids.
because in PVP you want more stat product. The attack IV's weigh heavier on CP when leveling up a pokemon, so you can't level a Pokemon as much with more attack. Since Great league and Ultra league are CP limited you have to find the balance. There are some cases for higher attack IV's but that is for high end PVP players, general PVP try and get as close to rank 1 IV's as you can.
I saw you answered someone else's "noob" question so i also happen to have one. Why are shadow pokemon better when they have the frustration move? Or how do you remove the move? Thats always been a confusion point for me. (Ive played on and off since release but never dove deep into mechanics)
@@AaronBouton oh nice. But yeah don’t do special research for meltan cause it only gives you one, mystery box lets you catch hundreds over the span of like a month
why the hell bring up how good they are in Battle League when task encounter have floor of high IV... unless they are rare shiny or relevant as a hundo.. no clear reason to mention them lol
Because battle league does generate a lot of stardust, if you have the top Pokemon or Pokemon that are good. And for the 10/10/10 iv floor, it’s worth it to get a friend or an alt account to get the same tasks and mirror trade (trading the same Pokemon to each other, example: Dratini for Dratini). This will help “reroll” the ivs, potentially giving a better chance to get one with low attack, high defense + hp. And yes, mirror trading shinies, or aiming for hundos is something that most strive for. But to others, PvP is important as well
You can mirror trade if you want those IVs and pvp IVs are mostly relevant at higher level play - you can have a lot of success in gbl without perfect pvp IVs

im gona ask a noob qustion , why in these leagues u want 0/15/15 ivs ? instead of 15/15/15 ivs ?
Same question 😂 ...I mean 15 / 15 / 15 are good and rare 😅 so why 0 / 15 /15 is good

I completed the catch seven Pokémon research. And both of my rewards were magikarp, they were both hundos!!
These videos help me out a lot, so thanks for them😊

Goleezopod is crazy 😂
Thanks for the help
You’re welcome!
Can you make a video about IV and what to look for? Like What Pokemon do make sense to look out for 0/15/15 IV.
Great video
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Hello! Hope you are all having a great day! ❤
I’ve spun like 50 poke stops and haven’t gotten a single power up Pokémon tasks 😢
doesnt gyarados need a legacy move? aqua tail? u said in the video it doenst need one
Hey pogo i have super rocket radar but when i spin pokestop that has giovanni its just say ...
just a weird bug rn, been happening to me as well. I’ve been farming the decoy grunts for shiny bellsprout so it has been annoying
What's the chance of getting mega energy from a research task? I haven't gotten any in ages!
Wouldn't all these encounter catches have a minimum IV of 10/10/10?
Yeah they would, PvP Ivs aren’t a huge deal though
Yeah but you can either mirror trade to reduce attack iv or you can just use them as is, IVs are mostly important at high level play
Is there a way to find certain tasks?
Unfortunately it’s random
In 4 days of playing I still have to get this catch dragon type monster quest and there is none
Speaking of the let’s go meltan research how do you catch a ditto
You can look up a list of all the Pokémon ditto can be disguised as. If you just want the meltans just activate a mystery box
@@towelgaming178 you wanna know what’s funny I caught a ditto today I think it was a solo sis idk but it’s super ironic

Can you get 0/15/15 from research?
No, all research pokemon have a minimum iv set of 10/10/10
