Love the video...very informative...but one thing I don't like is reusing the console underpad that's clearly worn and broken down. That is the issue I have with mine. Love your product...but I'm not installing new cover is the under pad can't be replaced. Other than dirty, my cover is in good condition...just the need a new foam pad. Now of I could replace that at the the same time, that would be awesome. Replaced the foam seat cushions...just need a new console lid foam pad.

When we run into a damaged under-pad on these models for local installs, we typically cut out the damaged section and repair the section with high density foam. Foam repair can be a more advanced process, but a local upholstery shop might be able to help you out with a repair.

I did mine a couple years ago and I still have one of the black curved plastic strips from the 20% jump seat. In the video I see 2 of them but I don’t see them being reinstalled. Are these just thrown away?
2003 dodge ram 1500. Center armrest is covered as one piece but seems to be one with a lid and storage. You can actually see a hinge in the back if you pull up the upholstery a little. Can the upholstery be removed and recovered as a storage unit.
Almost complete, how about taking the seat off the brackets. I can't get to my truck right now. But can the jump seat be removed while in the truck or do you have to take the front seat as an assembly
David Heath The jump seat should be able to be removed separately from the driver and passenger seat however it shares the same floor mounts. You will need to unbolt the seats, tip the driver and passenger seats back, remove the center jump seat, and the put the driver and passenger seats back down onto the mounts to be bolted back in.
Could y’all do a kit like this but for the upgrade jump seat that’s so popular 2012-18 jump seat into 20O2-2009, because the grey tops are the only color available? Can’t not find a tan/taupe color one.

The first is installing the kit yourself. If you do not want to install the upholstery yourself you can have a local automotive upholstery shop install it for you. We have had customers ship us their seats to have us install them however this can be very expensive and usually only makes sense on a very select few projects. Justin Salgado Really we wouldn't recommend using a hand stapler but if that is your only option it is doable. Just be careful in regards to the stapler and staples slipping while you apply pressure as they can potentially tear the vinyl. We typically use 1/4" staples for this console lid. +Pistol Plex We highly recommend not using a hand stapler because it is difficult to keep/stretch the leather in place while still being able to apply enough pressure on the stapler. Also, we find that a lot of times a hand stapler does not have enough power to go through the factory console plastic. A pneumatic stapler is the best way to accurately place and hold the leather into the correct position.
Please please please tell me that there is a 2nd row 60/40 bench with arm rest installation video for an 06 mega cab or similar on your channel that I am missing. It is one of the very few reasons I have held back from ordering lol

However, if I was to guess, I would think they use 1/8 inch on this particular console since you are just trying to tack it down and the whole thing is further held in place from the plastic trim that is popped back on afterwards.

As far as the look is concerned, the 94-97 seats are a completely different style and will look different that this kit even with the same colors and materials.
