I grew up as stuffing. I hope you all have a happy thanksgiving. I love your videos. We I lived down by smokey mountains to go to those restaurants you guys go to. God bless you both
You guys are too cute! My mom always called it filling. I had lived in south central Pennsylvania my entire life before moving to east Tennessee 3 years ago. I call it stuffing and make it in a casserole dish.
I love a Moist Dressing - Stuffing! Never had it with Chicken Livers but that is a really good recipe to try and Thank You Guys for that!!! Happy Thanksgiving!
We were all taught: "Stuffing by the hand, dressing in a pan!" And Christie, don't EVER ask a man alone in any room, "How's it smell in there?" !!!! Odds are, you're not gonna like the answer......nor the smell in that room! Lol
Here in Pennsylvania it is stuffing. We used to stuff the turkey cavity with the mixture and bake the extra in a baking dish. Whatever people call it, which adds to the richness of language, we all are in unity in thanking the Lord for His provision. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. May it be blessed.
I love you both BUT it’s absolutely dressing here in the south. We don’t use any kind of liver or sausage in dressing. Now I have done a variation with apples and sausage, but true southern dressing is made from bread or biscuits and cornbread.
Christy…I was born in Maryland, live now in West Virginia. I love you dearly but I’m on Brook’s team. ITS DRESSING!!! Happy Thanksgiving. May God Bless you both.❤😂
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃🦃 I don't know why I don't see you on my feed!!! Because I never had stuffing and I know it only from American TV shows I will call it stuffing 😎🤩
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you both had a lovely day with friends and family. I usually cook EVERY dish, but this year I did take out. I regret it some. My turkey is way better 😄lol Brooks it's called stuffing whether you stuff it or not. You two are adorable. Yeah we don't stuff turkeys anymore, but it's still stuffing. I've never made homemade stuffing so call it what you want, but it's all going to the same place and I bet your stuffing was dressed beautifully and tasted amazing.
We always called it dressing but if you put in the Turkey then it became stuffing. Lol My Mom and Dad were from West Virginia and Kentucky. She was a wonderful cook and baker. So I just follow what she did and this has been passed down to my kids😊Your dressing/stuffing looks delicious and so pretty. No matter what you call it. Love you guys❤ Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your all of your precious family❤😊🍁🍂🦃🙏
Brook a fine presentation but it’s stuffing but if you want to get all dressed up to eat your dressing you go right ahead but either way Love your bantering back and forth and Have a Happy Thanksgiving Hoping your day is filled with good food and wonderful memories with family God Bless you all and Take care❤❤
Although I’m in Oklahoma now (5.5 yrs.), I spent my first 55 yrs. In the state of New York. We called it stuffing. In Oklahoma, it’s dressing. I’m still getting used to the foods here. Miss NY State Italian food the most! Thanks for the video!
I think I made the best cornbread stuffing ever. It’s so simple and easy and yet every year it is requested so of course this morning that will be going in the oven and it’s absolutely delicious and I too say stuffing I don’t say dressing.
Best intro ever...lol. But, that is definitely dressing. I make mine similar but I don't use sausage or livers. I buy a rotisserie chicken from Walmart and shred up some of it and that's what I use. I season with sage, rosemary, parsley, thyme, and poultry seasoning. Everything else is pretty much the same as you.
Hope you have a Blessed Thanksgiving I was always taught in the South it was dressing and in the North it was stuffing either way i do not like cornbread in mine i eat cornbread just not in dressing I made mine with that sa me bag you have Christi added sausage, apples cranberries to it as well as cream of soup and chicken broth no chicken livers gizzards or oysters turned out fine it was ate up O
When we were kids, we called it filling. Like Mom, Can we have some more gravy on our filling? But of course as we grew we ended up calling it stuffing. No matter what, it’s the only dish that stands up against the rest!
The way you make it, it is called stuffing and I’m a southerner! For me, true dressing is when you make your own homemade cornbread and make dressing out of it with all its ingredients! We call it southern cornbread dressing and of course, you gotta have your giblet gravy to go along with it.
Nah nah dressing is made with cornbread. Stuffing is bread based. Sincerely, a life long southern woman who makes dressing yearly! Happiest Thanksgiving to you and your's!!
I have to say it's stuffing because you are stuffing a Turkey . In a dish, it's dressing 😊 Have a wonderful Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 also it's comfy and casual wear around here 😊🦃🦃🦃
I myself being a southern girl from Alabama have to agree with Christy this is stuffing. It is made with bread cubes such as loaf bread as stuffings are. The real southern dressing is made with cornbread. You should know this Brooksie!!!
That Brooks is such a charmer, I just love him. And Christie is the perfect lady for him. But I always thought if you put it in the bird it's stuffing; if it's baked in a casserole dish it's dressing. But who cares as long as it's on the table! Happy Thanksgiving!!😊
I was just thinking about my mama's stuffing she always stuffed the turkey and now they say we can't stuff the turkey it was always the best part of the stuffing and I still call it dressing🎉
Family and I call it Stuffing even though it's Dressing. We've never stuffed our Turkey growing up or even now. Whatever you want to call it that'll be fine........just, don't forget the GRAVY!!!😊😊

Actually Brooks family helped to settle this area of Tennessee and his MaMaw and his Mom both made / make Chestnut dressing. There is no cornbread in it. Lol. We make what we like.
IN The South, I was Raised calling it *Dressing*. Have continued calling it Dressing as we dress up the Cornbread/Bread/Biscuits or whatever you use as a Binder. We have never *Stuffed* a Turkey in the South. SO Dressing it is as it is cooked in a separate dish all by itself... I do have friends in the North who do call it Stuffing, we both understand thats just the way you were raised.
Team Dressin’ all the way. I’ve never had it with chicken livers or parsley before that I know of. I’d be open to tasting it. I know there are several dressin’ recipes out there.
Sweetheart I know you’re not originally from the south, ergo Stove Top. Stuffing is usually made with white bread sausage apples etc True dressing is made with homemade corn bread , Dressing is an art. Stove top is stuffing.
Oh we don’t put stove top in it. Lol. That was just to show stuffing. lol. Believe it or not Brooks family has never made it with cornbread but they did make it with chestnuts. Good ole chestnut dressing ❤️
