I live in Los Angeles. During the 2020 BLM riot here in Hollywood, I got caught in the traffic by Hollywood and La Cienega...things were going pretty crazy. But just by Sunset Blvd, I saw a man holding a M1A guarding the building. No one dared to challenge him...tell me now M1A is obsolete.

People fall hook line and sinker for the gun industry and constantly fall for the emotional crap to justify them dropping 2-10 grand on a pice of metal.
The m1 a is hands down the best battle rifle out there
Had my Socom16 for years now and love it. Never let me down and love shooting it.
I have one, the break/compensator works AMAZINGLY well compared to a full M14
Great hog hunting gun. Really shines in woods here in Louisiana where there are a lot of palmettos over every square inch between the trees.
I've had it since it came out in FDE, hasn't failed me since and at the range people are amazed on how much ammo I can put down so quick and how loud it is, definitely an equalizer
Fantastic firearm. Right out the box on target. Recoil is very light compared to the M-14 I was issued in 67. The Socom is a keeper for sure. Can’t say enough about it. All positive.
I love the simple beauty of this weapon and the reliability of the action. The low profile also has tremendous appeal. Thanks for sharing this!

All depends on which one you’re getting. That sounds like it’s the m1a socom. The m1a scout is 1650$ and I’m getting it this week

I think it’s the same as a socom but with a wooden stock instead of plastic. Was looking at them as well. Choice made by living in Florida with crazy humidity we have here

I'm not a gun guy but this rifle is so interesting to me I really want to get one and learn how to fire one take it apart, I just feel like this is where I would need to learn how to operate a piece of hardware like this I love it!

I have the mossy oak version, one draw back the 10 round mag the came with. But it now my no 1 rifle, and the last gun I'm buying, " love this rifle"

Get the OEM 20 round mags. About $50 each, and they work great. I bought six.

Please be aware the sights are designed for CQC as opposed to the traditional Garand and M14 sights.

Bought one 2 months ago from PSA… Still haven’t heard a word about my order. I’ve tried contacting them loads of times. One day I’ll receive my gun and actually get to shoot it…. One day….
Update! I finally got it. It’s got a can coming in 6-12 months now too 😏

I have the CQB and it is ideal for the zombie apocalypse
Plus it takes original or aftermarket 20 rd mags. Why bother with just 10 rounds.

I have the one highlighted here except it's stock and hand guard is kryptek camo and sports a Votex scout scope. She served with distinction this pat deer season. I scored it for 1400 in covid bucks on consignment . I bought an A grade oiled walnut stock for it and plan to go for the old school tanker look. She's my favorite by far.
