i have my obs virtual camera turned on on the twitch obs but when i try to find it in the video capture device on the second obs it's not showing up as an option. Anyone know why? Or how to fix?
yes, you need to go through an agency at this point. I went through Carter Pules by messaging them on Twitter and I was onboarded in less than a week. TBH I wish they had a referral program bc i cant tell you how many times ppl ask me how to get a stream key lol
hey man thanks so much for the video. when i try to do that my gameplay freezes up. Im streaming from my pc with an elgato i dont know what else to try at this point and i would love to know if you might know a fix
so, do you have a 2 pc setup? or are you streaming your console to your PC with the elgato capture card? im a little confused. if you are streaming and gaming on the same PC then the issue might be with your hardware (CPU, GPU or RAM), your computer might just not be powerful enough to run 2 streams at the same time while also running a game (among any other programs you may be running as well). Or the issue could be with your internet connection / internet speed. If you don't have a good internet connection or your internet speed is low, you can have the best PC in the world and you'll still experience the same issue.
@@MattyFlipTV I have a single pc setup. so i play on my ps5 run a capture card to my pc and use obs to stream it. So im not playing and streaming on the same pc. My interner is always 20-25Mbps. My pc specs are 32 gigs of ram, Ryzen 7 3700x and a RTX 3080ti. I have tried just about everything these is to try haha so im hoping you have the missing secret ingredient my man
Literally just couple click the icon on your desktop after the 1st instance us running. It'll give you a warning that obs is open already. Just click continue
There was a plugin that I found (not a script) but it's very buggy and I wasn't able to get it to work on newer versions of OBS (anything after version 25 basically)
If you only have 1 webcam, you won't be able to use the same webcam source in both instances of obs. So, the easiest way to get around that that is to use the virtual cam as your camera source in the 2nd instance of obs.
