Wow - I started watching TH-cam painting videos about one year ago - to learn. I’m 61 and didn’t draw or paint anything of a “creative” desire until February last year. To this point I’ve watched at least 20 different people and media - watercolor, mixed media, acrylics and now you are my second try at oil channels.
Dude, you hit the core of all media, all painting, even if you are dealing with oils. You have the most my-style of painting of anyone I’ve yet seen. “Why not?” … “Don’t try too hard to try” - YES! You are teaching people how to just start painting and feel stress free about it all. Thank you! Your now biggest fan. Lol
Carla
Amazing work. It looks so real and alive that it seems to come out of the canvas. Stunning painting!
Now that’s a tree !!😎🇦🇺🦘
Incredible how you make it come to life in minutes!
You are the tree master. Another classic video
Greetings Stuart!! From your biggest fan across the pond lol
Incredible study.
That's a great tree!
Your trees are outstanding! I want this!
What a TREEt! Thanks Stuart.💖👍
Wow, it's so amazing. The thickness and weight of that tree. I have a tree that definitely should be painted. Thank you for giving me ideas. I always enjoy your videos.
i did the upside down octopus 2 days ago,...and 13 years prior,,,thanks!
It would blow your mind to see the great old oaks here out in the middle of nowhere! California coast.
Another excellent video, Stuart! I still need lots of practice at doing these, they just don't come right for me. Yet. I'll get there eventually! Is there any chance you could do something like this, but that shows the whole tree?
As soon as you said Andrew Wyeth, I googled him. Yeah, he was definitely obsessed with trees. One of my favorite trees is Birch, and I struggle with painting them.
But anywho, I love this tree... and love how you show how to and how not to paint a tree.
Definitely a Tree to Remember.
Amazing technique, thank you very much for sharing 🙏❤
Very instructive. Thank you.
Thank you. This was most intriguing.
Brilliant ❤
Fabulous as always Stuart,I do hope you’re feeling much better now.😘❤️❤️❤️
Yeah I know what you mean about the upside down octopus, it's like my paintings of trees 😂, mine are too much like silhouettes, I like the texture physicality and depth in your tree , and how wide the trunk is etc , thank you, I'm going to have a try at a tree in your style using oils and wiping parts out for texture 👏
Fantastic looking tree - and so quick!
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!
Always phenomenal Stuart!! Thank you 🙏
Love the tree! I have to get closer to the trunks at my home. Your fearlessness is inspiring in taking the tree where it wants to go.
This is an amazing technique thank you Stuart!!!
Thanks Stuart, great video always learn something when watching.
rich intuition as the work progressed. very enjoyable and inspiring to watch and learn.
I love watching you work on your trees. i love painting trees, but feel they can be a lot better with more practice... do you think I can use your techniques using acrylic paints? i cannot work with oils, they give me headaches. :( thank you
WOW !! ❤
Hi Stuart awesome teaching skills bro!! Is this one on wood or canvas??!??
Thanks! It's on board.
Hello Stuart
I get your point, especially about their weight and space but …. There are lots of species though… various shapes….
I have studied AW’s work, he’s interesting.
Did you paint an undercoat color on the white canvas first. Also....Were you using paper towels or regular white printing paper to paint with.?
I always paint on white gesso, and the paper towels are not the usual fluffy soft type.
I love Stuart's videos but if the camera was angled we wouldn't miss so many strokes.
would you show me the way you mix the paint at the beginning you start to paint Sir ...please btw i am from Indonesia
We didn't see your large painting that you said you would show us!

Ah nice old tree.
A lot of drama. The sense of movement against the stability of the ancient tree. Just beautiful.
hello Stuart. how much is your price work? for paintings
It depends on a lot of factors, so I only discuss prices privately by email.
❤👍👍👍
