We plan on going to Zurich, bern, zermatt, Jungfrau region, Lugano, and lake Geneva. Are places mentioned are within hour train rides! Appreciate your input. Thanks so much..

I mean there is no place in the middle of all of them where you can stay to visit the other places in one hour train ride. Zurich is central and good to start your journey because there is the airport. I recommend you to book a hotel in every place you want stay and drive then to the next place which is next to it.
