I love Guidance. I actually go nose blind wearing it. The whole room can smell it. I wish they had lotion and other products. My 1st amouage perfume I purchased was honor 42. It doesn't have the performance that guidance has. It's my favorite.

Good morning, Sharida 😊 Welcome back!! I made my first purchase with Twisted Lily a few weeks back and it is the least expensive when it comes to samples. I buy two 2ml at a time to see if I like the fragrance. I ended up getting a full bottle of La Capitale and Dolce Almafi bc of it. Plus, they shipped it out so quick - in my experience, they sent it out that same day. lol. Awesome!!
I have always had such a positive experience with them from the start of my fragrance journey.
Valaya is that girl! I like Fleur Narcotique but I'm obsessed with Valaya.

Valaya is better. Fleur Narcotique gets too sour in the drydown. Valays stays pretty the whole day.
I'm like everyone else in the comments.. I will revisit Valaya, Guidance, and Blue Heart tomorrow. I have also been on the fence about those, but I have been waiting to revisit them again in colder weather
This look is a vibe!! ❤️🔥 So I was testing Guidance for the 3rd time yesterday and I have such a mixed opinion on it. It is incredibly beautiful and unique, I got 2 compliments yesterday and I was only out the house 2 hours! I think where it is so strong, it gets cloying and makes me feel a tad nauseous but at the same time it is growing on me. Ahhhh so conflicted but this might end up being a love for me?! Who knows! 😂❤
I would try just a couple sprays behind the knees. The loud projectors you can still smell all the way from down there lol. And it helps cut down on that overpowering and cloying experience.
I get a weird smell also if I spray it to close to me. I have learned that for me to spray and walk into it instead of on u directly. Try it hope it helps u. I also love this and will have it always.

Good morning Sharida! I love a good oud fragrance and Oud Orange Intense sounds interesting, however I’m not a fan of coconut. A fragrance where the oud is disappointing is Bond No. 9 Signature. What oud? I don’t smell it. The fragrance does last, but I think it’s due to the musk. Maybe I’ll try layering with Kayali Vanilla Oud and see what develops! Looking forward to purchasing a bottle of Valaya, but not before Althair!!😀 - Ms. Charlette
I think you should still sample Oud Orange as it doesn’t smell like your typical coconut note. It’s so regal! Althaïr is so beautiful! My SOTD yesterday and it got me a couple of compliments at work!

Sharida, I blind bought Blue Heart based off your review and the notes. I'm so glad I did bc it's in my top 5 for life! It's too good. I now have 5 Thameens as I really love the house. Perigrina, Patalia and Blue Sapphire are fantastic. Cullinan Diamond is a bit too masculine leaning for me so I'm going to sell it but it's still an amazing fragrance. I got lucky and got all 4 when Maxaroma was doing a BOGO sale.

Guidance was flat for me when it was first released. I keep going back to it at the Neiman Marcus counter and the last time I tried it, it stood up and sang me a song honey! I'm going to get a healthy sample before buying but I think I may have another winner on my hands!
I do find that it grows on a lot of people! I am glad you did at least try it!

I blindly bought guidance with a 2ml tester earlier this year. I sprayed the tester once and ripped the plastic off before it could even settle. that was the first fragrance to give me that reaction. it's not safe for my workplace though

hey girl ive missed you! I have Amouage and gosh i dont get leather from it. i love it its a long laster and gets tons of compliments. It lasts longer on me than Delina and people can smell me before i walk in a room. i hate Valaya so so much unfortunately. I didnt like blue heart it was masculine smelling on me but i tried it a year ago noses do change

I smelled Amber Magique but I couldn’t smell much. It was pronounced like Poudre D’or or For Your Love. I will give it another try.
It’s definitely a lot stronger than Poudre. That’s interesting you could smell much. I wonder if the Cashlox is hard to pick up on or people go nose blind like Another 13
Hello Sharida. I'm in a weird place with Guidance. I like it, but there's something that's keeping me from pulling the trigger. However, when I tested it out, people loved it. Literally had a lady sniff around me to say, it's you, that's beautiful. I don't smell whatever it is that they're smelling. Hibiscus Mahajad, Valaya are loves in my collection. I can't decide between Oud Jaune Intense or Oud Orange Intense. At the price point it's one or the other. Didn't like Blue Heart as much as I thought I would.
Oud Orange I found just a little easier to when I sampled them both years ago. I do however plan to get a decant of Jaune to see how I feel about it now.
I blind bought Blue Heart because of you. love it. I have and love all but two of the ones discussed today so we are almost fragrance twins 😂 I will have to get my nose on the two I am missing- Ambre Magique and Oud Orange Intense.

yes u have to test amouage guidance on ur skin. I blindly bought it when it first came out. i sprayed it on a paper, i was like...ewwww....I dont want to smell like christmas XD. Then i tried a little on my skin, then it settles to a nutty smell!!!! It smells like a bakery on me. My son was like, mom wat is that smell...It smells like u are baking something delicious.. XD Omg it was unique and beautiful.

Some wonderful freshies are Musky 12 by Kayali, Champaca by Ormande Jayne, Invisible Touch by La Perla, and Vibrato by Sospiro (a great dup for Vibrato is Oud Joon by Al Haramain....and no oud is in the juice so don't let the name fool you ). Yes Sharida put me on to Blue Heart and I haven’t looked back. Have you tried Ex Nihilo’s Irreverants?? A dry, airy, lil spicy caramel it’s so delicious to me at least 😂 I can’t wait to see the performance in the colder months ❤️

The color has grown out on my locs and it’s just the tips now like yours and I keep going back and forth about getting more color. Do you think you will do more? Anyhow it’s hard for me to focus when I know you have a fragrance dropping soon lol!! I guess I’ll go ahead and get hibiscus mahajad.
