I am an older woman and have had many experiences. Unfortunately was married twice. The first time I didn't know Christ as my Savior and I was very young and Clueless about what love was supposed to be. I have gained a lot of wisdom through the word of God about male female and marriage. And I must say that this teaching is one of the best I have ever heard🙏🏻

Amen. I like the fact that I am able to learn this. Unfortunately in the society we live in today, and from personal experience I was forced to be the provider and everything else because I experienced a man who did not have ambition or just want to control in an unhealthy way. I have asked my lord god to please help guide me to my ordained husband, a man. Not someone who becomes comfortable with the woman doing it all and they barely pull the end of his bargain. I am a mom and a career orientated woman but I lack one of the most important parts in my life; my companion. A real companion in Christ. I do not want a man that through his actions makes me get angry. I just want to be respected as I respect my future ordained husband. Unfortunately I dealt with a counterfeit and have learned immensely with God's grace. Mark, if there were more men as yourself the world would be a better place. Thank you

Unfortunately, i can see by what you have wrote... It's going to be awhile before God give you a companion. I pray that God will touch your heart. A wise woman build up her house but a foolish woman plucketh it down.... Proverbs Be Blessed!

I have been single for 22 years and I met a great man of God at work. I have not even dated anyone since my divorce. We have known each other for 2 years but just this year we have become really good friends, and we also go to church together. If there is someone out there, your paths will cross.

    • @Christ_Is_Faithful
      @Christ_Is_Faithful 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

If you dealt with a counterfeit that’s on you unfortunately. Did you not screen for fruit? What is a career oriented woman if you have children. Do you not know that it’s the adulterous woman who spends much of her time away from the home? Think about what’s pleasing to the Lord and go and do that. If you don’t know, make it a priority to study the scriptures on how you should be living as a godly woman.
“And behold, the woman meets him, dressed as a prostitute, wily of heart. She is loud and wayward; her feet do not stay at home;”
      ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭7‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬
I can tell you if you desire a godly man you first need to become a godly woman. A truly godly man who really fears the Lord will not marry an ungodly woman who desires to spend her time away from the home once married.

This hr I've listened & became humbled. The points u made of women, (the adverse points) describe me - mostly. Very humbling for me. Perhaps the reason I have failed relationships in my life. I've been praying for God to prepare me & the man for us to have a marriage that will glorify God. Very enlightening for me. Thank u Father for using Mark to open my eyes. 🙏

Thank you for this free lesson 🥹 it’s really validating and relaxing to hear all this. Because of my circumstances I’ve always felt the need to be able to prove that I *can* be a provider and fully independent blah blah before a man would want me but that’s not where my heart lies. My heart is with my home and my family, my pets! I love to care for and support my partner in all the ways that he requires and that is what brings me my second deepest joy next to pleasing our Heavenly Father. I love to work and contribute to the household and my community but it’s more of a need being met than actually following my purpose. This was all so nice to hear, and it makes me feel like a woman! A godly woman :) and excites me even more to meet the man that God has for me and will pursue me in the way God intends

Thank you Mark for sharing this, I appreciate you reviewing gender roles from a biblical perspective. Being an educated woman in leadership myself, I have previously focused on being the provider and finding my place in my career. In gaining a better understanding about God’s original intention for a man and woman in marriage, I am focusing more on how I can submit more to God’s structure for my place in the family 😊

Thank you for sharing this very helpful message. I had once a mature tell me that I wasn’t ready for marriage in response to how I spoke to him. At the time it was hard to hear that truth, but this message amplifies that very well.
I’ve wondered why I struggle with relationships and what I need to change in my life. This content seems to address issues that are very important for me in learning all these qualities in my place as a woman. I don’t want another unhealthy relationship and end up feeling ruined in the end.

What you said towards the end of how men want to do things for a woman to make her happy is opposite of how my ex boyfriend was. He did things for me and expected me to repay him by doing the same things for him. I see he had a distorted view of how men are supposed to interact with their wives.

Wow, some great insights, especially how women shouldn't expect men to be the same as them in their thinking etc, ie. remb that men are not women! And also about how women like men to make them happy, but a man doesn't necessarily need the same, he'd rather see the woman happy. Hard to get my head around!!!

All you have to do is read the Bible! It is not rocket science. The women of today don't want to submit and trust God for the results to work everything out for good!! I can say that because my blood use to boil too when I would hear that scripture verse. But anytime you go against what the Bible says, you are headed down a bad road! A road to the devil/destruction!

The verse you put up Matthew 22:37 through 40 that is perfect to counter argue with the Mormons. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets. Because the Mormons come up to me and there's a ton of like commandments that they've been ordinances that they've made up and I'm thinking you don't have to do all that you guys. And this verse really helps with that. Thank you

What you wrote here proves that you would want to be a man's competitor more than his companion.
You shouldn't compare yourself with a man, it's not healthy and it's not feminine.
Yes women can do most things men do that's why we are helpers but that's also vice versa. Let's appreciate men and not look down on them

  • @nicolavanrhyn1726

The big thing that grabbed me is how men compartmentalize. Women are generally many things at once and more multi-tasking orientated. It's not a case of something being more important, it's just a different category. It explains more why guys cannot fathom that you get mad when their hobbies may eat into a date night. It's not done on purpose in my case but it doesn't occur to them? They aren't sitting around daydreaming about their partners. Ok. I think I get it! Men have compartments for their lives. Pushing into competition with what is important to him.

Proverbs Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. see 3:5-18 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasentness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her; and happy is everyone that retaineth her. Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 4:6-13 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee; Love her, and she sahll keep thee. 7.Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.10. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.

My ex once told me “ I will be at home dad and you work “ I was like “ wooow” definitely felt like I needed to be the provider . Then one time I told him I prefer to help in the house and you work more . He said “ no, I like to cook , clean “
I felt very unhappy. He made me believe that I needed to go back to school and be the provider .
We are not together anymore, of course. And I didn’t want to have kids with him either for the same reason. When we were going out he would say “ you need to pay this time “ I told him , I make less than you “ I was working as a nanny at that time .

I proposed to my now fiancée a few weeks ago, and we plan on getting married in December. Is this good for pre-marital couples? My fiancee struggled in her up bringing as the enemy wrecked her house with narcissistic dad, so we've been pulling down the stronghold against the biblical view of women, respect submit, as she saw it abused by her father to her mother. So it's like bad words to her now. Just trying to get on the same page before marriage about desiring to be what the bible calls us to be in marriage I'm not asking her to be perfect by the wedding day but at least equally yoked in that regard for desire to be biblical. I don't have issues with my role and sacrificial love. I'm called to do, I even bring it up. We're trying to get her to a place where she actually brings it up with Joy. Instead I bring it up and it brings bad feelings.
Thanks Mark, I've watched a lot of your stuff since I was born again last October and learning to court in a God honoring way you've been an amazing resource.

As a daughter of a narcissistic mother, I have only recently been realising just how much it has affected my entire life. (I'm a single woman in my early 40s btw for context). So it may take a long time for your fiancee to process various emotions etc. And of course it's different if it was her dad, but similar in ways. There are many great articles online, I honestly can't remb them lol, but all I did was type in stuff like 'daughters of narcissistic mothers' etc, just look up things using keywords. Even some non-Christian articles had interesting points. I've also spoken to a Christian counsellor. God bless.

Are you her first Christian relationship? As a new believer when I first read a women should submit to their husbands I was irked. But I realized it’s because I’ve only known worldly men who live in their flesh. I could never submit to those types of men because their actions are coming from their flesh. But a man of God submits to God. And the Bible says men should treat their wives as themselves. That allowed me to have trust, because worldly men are selfish. A women should never submit to someone selfish because they are only going to care about their needs being met and not hers. But a man of God will prioritize the women and think of her as his partner and listen to instruction from God and know he must protect her and love her the way God loves his bride. So restore faith in your fiancé that you are will not be like the world. That you are not partaking in the worldly ways of sin that causes pain and trauma. When a real man of God is in your life you know it because they don’t just read the scripture, they live the scripture.

@@PrettyIndependent1 Yeah we're each others first Christian relationship. I agree! I know she does too, still working on these things. It's just with her Father being a dictator over her mom cheating etc. And the fact we knew each in the world doesn't help. But we're in a pretty good place in this department God has brought us a long wau

I think premarital counseling is the best option for you two. You might resent her for not upholding her “role” while you are “successfully” in yours. She needs to see YOU Are Not her father. She should see you are the complete opposite of him and joyfully accept you as her leader.
I understand where she is coming from and unless she is praying to the Holy Ghost… she will want you to accept her trauma and deal with it

Myself as well. It's not our fault about how we were taught as young adults. However, it's our fault if we don't seek to find the truth as adults! Like Jesus... He accepts us like we are. However, He doesn't want us to stay as we are. We are to grow in God daily! Be Blessed!!

God made both men and women to communicate....period. Or else why does a woman desire him to discuss plans and sittuations arising inside the home?
Why does a man feel left out if a woman goes ahead of him to take on certain desisions that he was not aware of?
    So does the woman.
The basic fundamental attributes were intended for the entire family...men, women, and children.
This is unacceptable for us to say that men have excuses for not wanting to have good communication with his wife. Family unit can fail.
    Think about it...
If Adam had spoken out in the beginning to Eve, re-enforcing God's command to them of not partaking of the forbidden fruit, the fall of humanity would never take place. He refraining to speak out contributed greatly to the fall.
A christian husband should always remember that.

Appreciate what you've said here. Not trying to take away from it at all, but is "Stefan Speaks" a biblical approach and viewpoint? I tend to think it's not.... it "sounds" good and sounds "spiritual".. but still sounds like "leaning on our own understanding" (at least the few videos I watched). Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know...but that's what comes to my mind from his videos..

This is good but a women’s relationship to her work, her education, is also very important to many women . Women also find identity in their career and work. I would agree that if a woman is a mother, then her children should come first, and she should not neglect her role as a wife. I also think this point about men is not ubiquitous …. Plenty of men are slothful, unmotivated, and merely work for a paycheck. I don’t think working for a paycheck is a bad thing, it’s a means to an ends, and any work is honorable to God. But not everyone has a strong drive to achieve or need a career-driven purpose in life. In my personal experience, this was an issue where my spouse was either not capable or motivated to provide for us, but he also did not support me as a helpmate. It seemed like he felt threatened by my career and instead of appreciating that God gave him a wife that complements him in this area, he became bitter and destructive to my work. I don’t know if this is common or not, thoughts ?

35:11 Okay this had me projecting allot. Is a career & a God given kingdom assignment even the same? I don’t think so. The 2 don’t necessarily go together although it’s not bad for the man to have.
OR maybe they do go together like Joseph being ruler over Egypt ☝🏽. Okay I get it now that’s for this correction 💯

It says in Ephesians 5:21 Submitting YOURSELVES One To Another in the Fear of God. Wives sumit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 25. Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleans it with the washing of water by the Word, 28. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 32. This is a great mystery: But I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33. Nevertheless let EVERYONE of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence (deep respect) her husband.

My problem is that I haven't had a MAN! Instead I have dated BOYS. Even older men seem to want to still be boys. What I mean by that is: I was talking to a guy for about 4 months. We're both Christian and love the Lord but he just wanted sex from me and no I didn't give it to him. If a guy just wants sex just say in the beginning, so I can leave them alone. Another thing is too I'm very intelligent and know what I want. When I get into a relationship I always try to treat the guy and respect but then all of a sudden the guy thinks I'm dumb or native and stupid so they try to take advantage of me. I always try to treat a guy like Jesus would and it back fires on me everytime. Unless It's the Lord's will I staying single. I thought by 30 I would be married will at least one baby. I would love to have a little boy and a little girl but that hasn't happened yet. It October I will be 31 years old. I haven't done everything right over the years and there are relationships I wish would have never happened! Things I wish I wouldn't have said or did but it must not have been to bad because just about all my ex's wanted me back. I also go by what the Lord wants and the Golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated.
