Cory could have trapped the Scarlet King within his own body, the seal lasting for around at least one year (I don't know when it happened, so the minimum time is at least a year.) before the Scarlet King managed to take over Cory's body and begin his conquest as originally planned. Cory may still be in their, or he could be dead and the Scarlet King is using his son's corpse as a body.
The scarlet king always was able to at least influence cory, and the scarlet king and cory disappeared, so maybe cory trapped them both as long as he could until the scarlet king's influence and power was too much to fight back and is now being controlled. maybe he's just controlling cory and cory can see and feel everything that's happening, but can't talk, react or anything basically a prisoner within his own body.

Knowing the finale is coming in the next few days, I'm glad to have binged watched all of the older videos and then fully caught up during the Alice arc and got to watch as each new episode came out, looking forward to the finale.

Nooooo Doctor Patience why did you die! Also did the team discover who is the 4 horsemans if the apocalypse. Many questions, like will the universe reset, what happen with the Goc, is this series near the end, what happen with Able, still mssing Hooper, Triana, and Cole.
Dr. Patience was one of my favorite characters.
