Danny is using C6 Corvette upper and lower control arms, spindles, and a lot of Frankenstein engineering while keeping it under 3,000 pounds. He also plans to LS swap it and hook it up to a 10-speed transmission. We can't wait to return to their shop and film the car doing all-wheel drive burnouts!
And, as a bonus, you'll get a sneak peek at Danny's gasser project, a "garage find" 1956 Chevy with a small block and super loud open headers. It's sure to turn heads and make some noise!

I'm 77 and grew up with this in the 60's..had a bunch of tri fives..bracket racers..nostalgia cars..Black 57 Nomad bought in 1980.original black and silver interior ...soldit six years and made the down on a new home Vegas.
Still have the 56 Chevy 150 utility built for Pacific Bell and delivered phone books to our home in Santa Rosa for ten years...I got it from the shop that serviced it snce 1966 t0 1979. Got a 69 L-78 in it from a 1969 Chevelle..injected..6 sp Viper tranny..12 bolt 3:73 posi with Alston ladder bars..and tri Y collectors comped to me by Flowmaster befor they were on the market.
My headers were built by a friend..he also built the headers for the 32 Ford in American Graffitti..filmed next door in Petaluma..whew...

I drove a '67 Chevelle no-post similar body to this while in high school back in 1998-1999. Ah, I sold it two years later! I bought and sold a bunch of classic muscle cars during those years, but that's one car I regret selling!! Best of luck with this ride!!!

She is actually right. Short term expensive long term cheaper. The LS driven nicely will get twice the fuel mileage and go 200,000 miles easy.

My OHC 6 wiped a cam lobe so it needed a new engine anyway. Figured a short term investment would be worth it long term. Plus I love LS engines!
