Facing mental emotional breakdown while the other man was being asked about his breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc., while writing letters to daughter everyday. The entire discourse is worth listening to, not because of novelty of information, but because of the elation of endorsement of what had already been learnt from diverse sources, including TJD, Pushpendraji, MajGen GD Bakshiji and so on. Actually Savarkarji mentioned motive of his hindu recruitment drive into british army. Due to this he was then widely criticised. Famous marathi journalist and leader Acharya Atre called him as recruitveer. But Savarkar defended his views about recruitment. In a famous speech he gave Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, he appealed break pens take guns ( लेखाण्या मोडा आणि बंदूका हाती घ्या )he said that first hindus should enter into Army, take modern training, learn modern warfare, take experience of fighting war and then when time comes these recruits will decide where to their gun turn against. Actually Savarkarji mentioned motive of his hindu recruitment drive into british army. Due to this he was then widely criticised. Famous marathi journalist and leader Acharya Atre called him as recruitveer. But Savarkar defended his views about recruitment. In a famous speech he gave Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, he appealed break pens take guns ( लेखाण्या मोडा आणि बंदूका हाती घ्या )he said that first hindus should enter into Army, take modern training, learn modern warfare, take experience of fighting war and then when time comes these recruits will decide where to their gun turn against. That is against British. And that was actually happened. Prisoners of war soldiers turned their guns against british by joining INA.
