Rescuing the legacy of the luthier Vicente Arias. Interview with Maria Jose Tirado

A few days ago we conducted an interview with the guitarist and researcher Maria José Tirado. She is carrying out an exciting research for all lovers of luthiery and guitars.
Maria José is creating a catalog of the guitars built by Vicente Arias, a very important luthier in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.
With the passing of time, Arias' work fell into oblivion, perhaps due to his lack of descendants and the disappearance of his signature. However, some of his guitars are in the hands of renowned collectors or in high-end guitar stores. Others, remain in oblivion or stored in some old closet... these are the guitars that Maria José Tirado is looking for.
Currently, she has identified about 20 guitars in Spain, but it is estimated that there should be about 200 guitars built by Arias.
