      Michigan Fan
      1. Georgia
      2. Michigan
      3. Florida St.
      4. Washington
      5. Ohio St
      6. Oregon
      7. Texas
      8. Penn St.
      9. USC
Honestly this list can be put in any way and I wouldn’t be terribly mad. None of these teams have a hard time scoring. So I based this on recent coaching, defense, special teams and teams that are used to success seam to handle it better.

      1) Georgia
      2) Ohio State
      3) Texas

      5) Michigan
      6) Washington
      7) Oregon
      8) Penn State
      9) USC
      10) Utah
Georgia is Georgia. Everyone else has one reason or another why they are or are not legitimate contenders. Michigan hasn’t played any one of note this year, they’ve beat who they should be beating. Definitely could see Michigan ending up rising especially with Harbaugh back, just want to see a true test for the 2023 version of the Wolverines. The others are higher because they’ve played legitimate teams to test how good they are. It was a toss up between having Texas or Ohio State at 2. Went with OSU as the most recent impressive win and we’ve found Alabama has more issues than we thought since Texas’ win over them.

Klatt is a FAV of mine too. But, he lost a lot of credibility by letting his Homer bias for Colorado taint his views. Thank you Oregon. Colorado could possibly not win another game this season. I was disappointed in Klatt when all that Prime hype was going on. As for this video, I don't think Florida State should be above the line. Fraud.

    • @TakeFlightMusic
      @TakeFlightMusic ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@ddb12345 I don’t see anything he said about Colorado that should taint his credibility. The Prime hype is real. Even if they DON’T win another game this season, this year was a success. They went 1-11 last year and were being talked about as the worst Power 5 school in the country. Winning 3 games, including beating the defending Runner Up in CFB and beating their in-state rival in a THRILLER at home constitutes an AMAZING success. Getting blown out by a GREAT team and possible playoff team this year doesn’t diminish that at all. But yeah Klatt does a very good job of being objective 95% of the time. And he also normally calls himself out on his biases in that other 5%. He’s great for CFB

This is an interesting year for the PAC12 for SO MANY reasons. The biggest for me is that the top teams actually play each other this year which doesn't and hasn't happened like this for a long time. USC, Washington, Oregon, and Utah all play each other. Going to be interesting to see who comes out on top of the standings at the end of the year.

Also, him giving some life advice to young adults like myself shows how good of a person he is. I’m training to be a pilot right now and will definitely be listening to Joel for a longtime in the airports lol. Shoutout to the whole production team as they go hand in hand with making this show the best! Looking forward to seeing/hearing Joel and Gus in Ann Arbor late November!

    Joel,
Your show gets me going every week in preparation for Saturday. The knowledge and information I get from listening is unmatched. I grew up in the southeast with a deep connection to college football. Now as an adult, that connection turns to a nostalgic feeling and it’s the best. Thank you for entertaining us each and every week and keep up the great work! Also love the life advice you throw in as well, very valuable to all of us just trying to navigate our way through the world. Appreciate everything you do!

    Joel!
Found your show at the beginning of this year, and have listened to every episode since. I time it with my workouts, and those 50-minute episodes help me power through. I grew up just north of Seattle, and am a lifelong Washington Huskies fan- even though both of my parents graduated from Washington State. Seeing the Dawgs and the Cougs go their separate their separate ways is really sad for the whole family, but hearing you mention both of their names in your “Contenders” list is a real treat. Your shows are all really well-researched and provide solid insights that allow me to fool my friends into thinking I’m a genius when I quote you. Appreciate what you’re doing to shine a positive light on the college football world during a difficult time, rock on man.

Joel, It’s amazing that the college football season is back! It truly is the best time of the year! What’s better though than watching the games to me is listening to your show, and you discussing all of the games/teams during the week. This show is my favorite part of the college football year and tuning into a game that you broadcast with Gus, its like none other…. If it wasn’t for your analysis and commentary every week during the college football season, I don’t think everyone would enjoy this game as much as they do! I will also be sure to stay at Hampton Inn by Hilton, place sounds fantastic! Thank you dude!

I have been a long time listener of Joel Klatt and he is by far my favorite sports analyst there is.
Klatt tells it how it is and doesn't play any games like others in the media. His takes and insight are incredible and really immerses you into the world of college football. Not only does he discuss college football, he gives great life advice. Joel is a great father and it shows by the stories he tells.
As a man who stands by his family and his faith, Joel Klatt is by far my favorite in the media and this podcast is by far my favorite podcast and one I plan my schedule around. Give it a listen!

As a MASSIVE CFB fan, the Joel Klatt show is a beautiful gift that never fails to satisfy to summarize the ebs and flows throughout the szn. To tell you the truth I never thought I would use the phrase HOUSED, but now whenever I describe a blowout of any kind I emphatically, with a smirk say “OH MAN THEY GOT HOUSED!” To be honest the Joel Klatt rankings are my go to for reference, and even as a serious fan, regard his opinions and rankings with more esteem than any poll or writer. You might say why is that? It’s because he KNOWS the game. He’s been there done that, and can explain the nuances in a seamless fashion in a confident way but not like a cocky “I’m the best analyst out there” kind of way. He’s straight up, tells it like it is and you couldn’t pay me to miss an episode. Keep it up guys!

First heard you on "The Herd" and Colin gave a shout on your Pod and I told myself, "I've gotta listen to this guy". And you want to know what sparked my interest the most? Yes, the MOST? No, not your incredible football knowledge. It was the sound of your voice. I usually only listen to Pods, and I listen all day. I listen to between 25-30 sports pods every day and you're in my top 5. But then you gave your "life lesson" today for the college grad, and you are now my Number 1. I absolutely LOVE the show. Thank you Thank you SO much for your show. When you mentioned your move and all the things you liked about your new place with family and so on, I was SO impressed and couldn't agree more. Let me just say, I’m a hardcore Texas and my dads a hardcore Notre dame fan. We love college football more than life itself. Unfortunately most talk shows are for NFL football, so when we found your show we were addicted immediately. Joel is one of the only analysts that calls it how he sees it without any bias. So now every week we look forward to the show and talk about the show after listening to it. We’ve become closer and bonded over it. My dad was in the marine corps and i was in the marine corps so as you can imagine we tend to be too macho to talk to each other. As a side note- Joel Klatt and Gus Johnson are by far the best and most enthusiastic game callers in all of college football. So having a bit more Klatt time via inception of this podcast has been absolutely EPIC 🙌🏾🙌🏾

@joelklattshow has become part of my two son’s (Wyatt and Colton) weekly routine. We tune in while cooking dinner and all three of us are waiting for that one magic word. Michigan. Gus and Joel have been invited into our home many Saturday’s and we had the great opportunity to watch them in Ann Arbor (2021) live before going to our seats on what would become a truly memorable day. As corny as it may sound, I personally appreciate being able to point out that Joel was a great athlete but also a great student as well. We love the show!

Mr. Klatt! I am a DAY ONE listener of the show and an appreciator of your sober analysis. My favorite episode - hands down - is the conversation you had with Chip Kelley regarding NIL and the future of college football in this past offseason. While I usually watch your show on TH-cam, I also just subscribed and rated the show on Spotify. And I desperately, desperately need a new hat, preferably one of those gorgeous Rose Bowl hats. Please, Joel. Help a brother out.

The Joel Klatt Show is by far my favorite new college football show around! His takes, as a former player, are unapologetically truthful in all aspects and it's refreshing to see and hear in these times of click-bait hot takes. The people want to hear the truth, not what is a 'hot take' just to get eyeballs. Keep doing what you are doing good sir! 5 out of 5 stars!

Joel, thank you for the life lesson at the end of the episode. This one resonated with me as I recently moved to a new state and really stepped out of my comfort zoen. I took a leap at a goal and it has had it challenges. However, I knew my goal and I built my path to it. For that I should be proud. Good luck to you all on a similar journey!

After the biggest win in 15 years my Alma mater, Texas, had against Alabama, I decided to dive further into my interest of college football. I heard plenty of times about the Joel Klatt show so I decided to start there. This is my first podcast I’ve regularly listened to and it’s an amazing one. There’s great insight every week and although I haven’t much appreciated the many references to Texas being tied with Wyoming after 3 quarters the past week (just an Alabama hangover), I learn something new about the sport every day. Awesome show I look forward to watching every time an episode comes out! (Also helps before attending Texas, I grew up a University of Washington fan. Joel raving on them is music to my ears)

Joel, I have been listening to you for a long time. I truly appreciate the juxtaposition between your thought out and honest opinions on college football and the other opinions that we often see you you counter on shows like the herd (even though wildly entertaining) and first take. I’ve rated you 5 stars on Spotify and just wanted to thank you for all the good work and I hope this show can live on as long as I watch college football!!

Joel, here is what I love about you and the show.
1: You're humble. When I watch your show, I feel like I'm talking ball with my friends. It makes me feel like I'm part of the show.
2: You're unbiased. It's hard to find a show that doesn't show some bias towards one or two teams. I feel like you cover every team with the same unbiased approach. It makes your show very easy to listen to.
3: You're the first to admit when you had a bad take or made a mistake. You've raised your hand numerous times when something you said/predicted was flat out wrong. Most people would find an excuse, but you don't and I appreciate that. It's realistic.
4: You provide great advice outside of football matters. The answer you gave about young people and moving new places today really resonated with me. I'm in a similar situation to you when you were still in Colorado. I'm still in the area I grew up in, but I feel the need to go somewhere unfamiliar. There's so many great places to live in the world.
5: Lastly, the show is produced great. It's clean cut and professional with a great host. I can't wait to listen to the new episodes the second they premiere. Thank you for providing a great experience!

I'm a long-time listener and fan of how Joel (& his team!) takes the time to go beyond the surface level details to provide in-depth breakdowns of teams and matchups. I am an OSU Grad (who is raising a young wolverine!) so I particularly appreciate the analyses of how teams are built for different styles of play (i.e. OSU vs. TTUN). I've listened to the podcasts for years and have started transitioning to youtube so I can get even more of this high quality analysis and content. Thank you, Joel & Go Bucks!

Very fair assessment of Penn State. As a PSU alum I agree on all points. They seem to have a much better and more complete team but they have to prove it. They improve each week and I think they match up well with OSU and may have a tougher time against UM. Sucks to be in such a strong division when the West is and has been so weak for years. That'll change next year with no divisions, but man, OSU, UM, UU, USC, UW and Oregon all in the same conference with us? Man that's gonna be a tough conference. Looking forward to a 12-team playoff.

As a 27 year old single girl people sometimes don’t take me seriously when I say I love college football! But I LOVE it and am so obsessed with this podcast and the way it gives all the best takes. So easy to listen to! Plus a plug for the giveaway… one of my favorite memories ever is being at the Rose Bowl in 2022 watching Utah play Ohio State with my Ohio State fan dad and die hard Utah fan mom… so this hat would mean everything!!! And would become a total family heirloom. Thanks again for the podcast. I listen the second it drops- 3x a week. Thanks for keeping this girl (that nobody thinks should know as much as I do about college football) in the know! Go Buckeyes!
