@@timc1341 It was no bother, chill out! I wanted to figure out how much I would be saving and instead of paying a stranger, I found out that one of my sons had one and gave him the $550, that he refused to take. Satisfied with my answer?
I am surprised that RIDGID left the 5/16" x 1" cable lock screw during this vedeo presentation of the safety and proper use of the k400 drain cleaner. It is supposed to be removed and discarded before operating the machine. It is very hazardous and dangerous to the user if left in place. It can grab your glove, pull you into the machine and cause very serious injury to the user.

The cable lock set screw is provided during packaging to keep the cable from coming out of the drum during transport.

Can this machine handle main drains?
I have no idea how the cable looped inside the drum on my very first use while I was feeding it in the drain in the forward position.

Ridgid probably boxes this unit back up and sold it after they made this video 😅
The guy is running the drum in reverse while extending the cable into the drain....
