Love you guys, another great episode. Love how Utube can fix your boat motor. Erin you looked so pretty sitting on the front of the boat. Have a great adventure xxx
Alex clean out the tinny tank every now and then.. a little bit of metho in an empty tank slosh it around and empty it out leave in the sun with the lid off to evaporate off. Probably an inline fuel filter wouldn’t hurt too
We are now home and catching up on episodes after tracking your trip via FB. We were up on the New England Tablelands and the weather was magnificent. I’d highly recommend up there for a trip.
Great location 😀, thanks for the tip for McLean Showgrounds, we have often passed there as the cv park is pretty small , but it’s a great little town …
I think when you pay similar or more for a very average Hipcamp or caravan park it makes you appreciate a well maintained and beautiful spot for that price
Boat or rooftop tent it depends on what you will use the most and get the most enjoyment out of it I wouldn’t have either boat is a hole in the water you pour money into and I drink to much to climb up into a rooftop tent I’m sure you will work out what suits you best happy new year guys🥃🍺
Great hip camp, out of our budget, unfortunately! Agree, lose the boat, and put a roof top on. Think of those special cuddle nights!😅 Could always hire a boat or get chumy with another traveller who has one. Safe travels, and have an awesome new year. 🎉
Enjoyed the video. Would you be able to tell us what brand of chairs you have and are you happy with them? We’re looking for a new light comfortable set.
Buy the kids a swag each unless you are camping in Croc country. Keep the boat. Once you set up and do your day trips you don’t have to pack up the rooftop tent each time. The kids will enjoy the boat as they get older.
Hi, what are those bars called that run across your awning to the van? I need some of those 😅 Edit…also, are they just ordinary tie downs to hold the awning down, or something special for the job? Cheers
Yeah we totally understand that it seems pricey but we’ve always found that with the east coast. We’d much prefer to have a beautiful patch of well maintained grass on the water than be jammed up against someone’s awning in a caravan park where we would be paying more for 2a 2k + 2 🐕
60 a night to park a van car etc, your kidding me. That’s just throwing your hard earned money away. Zero people because it way way way too expensive. Free camping is the way to go with the odd cheap caravan park chucked in to do washing etc if need be. Not a snow flakes chance in hell would I ever consider staying there. I’ve said it many times “The consumer has the power.” If it’s over priced for anything drive on by. 🤔🍻
We are self sufficient so don’t need facilities. Unfortunately these days that’s now a pretty common price for a beautiful spot like this, you pay more at a caravan park and get shoved into a tiny site with neighbours on top of you 🤷
@@nowornever_ausIt's a shame, that those who don't think Dog's should have more rights than people, are forced to use parks, to get away from Dog's and the mentality of their owners.
With the motor, get some CRC or WD40 and spray it around the carburettor and if the reverse go up that means you have an air leak, It’s an easy fix with someone with your skills. Great episode have a great week.🏕️🦘🦘🍹🍻🚣♂️ are dogs allowed in this great spot , and could you please tell us the name of this place. 👍

Thank you mate!
🙌🏼
Bella tasted the wagyu!, you are doing so well to support her and let her adjust to life’s sometimes harsh realities.
Yep completely her choice and we’ll support her with whatever she wants to do!
You guys are great to follow and with real good information on were you are.
Thank you!
That was going to be our question too. Looks amazing!
Looks like a great spot. I know a lot of people don’t eat bream but we love them. Thanks for the video. 💕👍❤️
Bream are great to eat 😋
Thanks! We kept one to cook over the fire 😁
Slip a commercial in there from a mate sponsor! 😀😀😀🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️

Yes it’s a beautiful place!
Enjoyed the video
Liked seeing the dolphins
Hope you had a lovely Christmas
Thank you!
I find hip camps generally expensive but at the time of year probably ok
Looks like a fantastic spot
Sure was!
How awesome to see those dolphins. Agree thats a beautiful HipCamp but at $60 a night its a bit pricey. Happy New Year to you all 🎉
I was wondering why they charge so much when no facilities, but it does look lovely.
I think when you pay similar or more for a very average Hipcamp or caravan park it makes you appreciate a well maintained and beautiful spot for that price
I agree. That’s why no one’s there. $60 no thanks. A lot better places for less.
Great Vid.. one day...
Love a craft Brewery find. 🍻
😁🍺
Yes I do agree with you
Go for the roof top tent! My opinion only - boats and I are not friends! Good you had some success in the fishing caper. I just feed them!
😆 that’s what we normally do!
Mate id just get a couple swags for the kids, the boat creates some unforgettable memories.
Good call 👍🏻
You need to use correct plugs the correct plugs, check fuel filter first
Yep made sure we got the right plugs 👍🏻
Bream are great eating guys 😊
Kept one to cook later 👌🏼
@@nowornever_aus yum 😋

Haha too true mate! Cheers and all the best for yourself and Sue!
"I used to service outboards" or IUTSO for short. 😂
😂😂
On you way back past would highly recommend stopping at Neumann Petroleum in Townsend and get a works burger 🍔 💯
Thanks for the tip!
Nice Bream
👌🏼
Great hip camp. What was the name of the hip camp?
1:11 Riverside Rest
@ thank you 🤩

Roof top tent and a light blow up boat dingy canoe thing is the go that's my plan
Cheers!
Enjoyed the video. Would you be able to tell us what brand of chairs you have and are you happy with them? We’re looking for a new light comfortable set.
Thanks!
They are from sons adventures & 4x4
Only just started using them but so far so good 👍🏻
@ thanks
Hey guys, I liked the video. I was checking out your camp chairs. What brand are they, and where did you get them?
Thanks!
They are from Sons adventure and 4x4
sonsadventure4x4.com/products/sons-light-weight-reclining-camp-chair
Thanks, I will check them out.
Do you find them comfortable and durable?

Yeah you’re right I didn’t think about the pack up to travel each day!
Hi, what are those bars called that run across your awning to the van? I need some of those 😅
Edit…also, are they just ordinary tie downs to hold the awning down, or something special for the job? Cheers
They are curved rafters made by Aussie traveler, tie downs are navigator tie down straps
@
Hey thank you so much!
may be it needs a service
Keep the dinghy
👍🏻
No one is there because its too expensive. And they give you nothing but a mowed bit of grass.

Getting rid of the tinny for couple minutes of fun, I would say it's not worth it 😅
Fair call!

Each to their own I guess! We were happy with it and we also free camp as much as we can 👌🏼
I’m with you. Far too expensive for us.
60 dollars no facilities really cmon guys get real
