I have like 10 of these handhelds and i just love them all as im a hardcore retro guy myself but man its awesome to know i can play all my childhood games on these lil pocket consoles
I'm so glad my PSP 1K model is still working fine, and I'm also glad the Official Sony PSP battery for it still looking good and still holds a charge (as long as I take it out after use or when not in use). So I can still play games on it. But I have to take extra good care of it and also do maintenance work. As for a Slim 2K model, that one was faulty on the left side and the screen had that circular burn in the middle, but I managed to fix those thanks to a donor junky Slim PSP. I just need to replace the battery for it, since it already got swollen. And there might be a chance for me to play PSP games on an Anbernic or something similar.
Jeanne D arc is a great cartoon turn based psp game, game full of interesting characters, storyline and they even put effort into relationships like friendship, love etc. From the first day I was hooked,I wished there was a part 2 of that game.
Hey, I have a psp about a decade old 😂 after a decade and few years passed after I grew up I modded it myself and play games by downloading and transferring over micro sd card but sadly it doesn’t turn on maybe because of the charger, but umm it is a street e1004 and the psp logo button, select and start button on the front screen aren’t working if I were to get them repaired (just the buttons) how much would it cost me? Just give me an estimate ?? I’m from india btw so it will be in Indian rupees. But if you could explain a little it would be useful
I'm running on 1× resolution with full-screen turned on. Didn't change anything in display and effects options. It's definitely worth getting rg40xxv, very well made handheld 👌🏻 one of my current favorites from Anbernic now. There is a link in the description if you decide to buy one.
@@BigRetroStudio im kinda impressed that god of war runs great on that device...knowing its only 1x resolution but still kinda impressive...how was the battery life so far playing 3d games?
@@BigRetroStudio thanks...im planning on getting that one (an upgrade for my miyoo mini plus) just waiting a little bit more on your other game tests on that device...like n64...dreamcast....and the likes
Wow so amazed to see PSP games running smoothly with the stockOS 😮 mine is still arriving in a week, I was planning to install muOS for the Portmaster I wanna play some StardewValley too, but I saw some video playing it with stockOS as well. I'll wait and see ❤
@@darkbulbs Yes mine arrived yesterday, and I'm loving it ❤ I'm sticking with stockOS for now. I only wanted to go muOS for the portmaster to play Stardew Valley, but it seems the latest update for SDW broke its portmaster playabilty. I'm playing Pokemon Brown and Pokemon Prism right now. I wanted to feel retro gaming but with a twist. It's my first time trying hack/homebrew roms ❤
@@darkbulbsthe only thing I don't like so far is the D-pad. It's too hard to press for my liking. I like the analog stick though, it's cute and tiny, easy to use, really same with NSwitch's.
They all run so well! Persona 3 looked kind of squished tho, could probably tinker with settings
I ordered the clamshell Anbernic, the hardware is the same. Glad to see it will run nicely with PSP games.

Sony need to make a PSP classic
Really like the blue of the V. Wish the H had this kind of blue and blue buttons/analog.
Slick device! i get a little analogue pocket vibes from it ❤
I was thinking the same!

I don't know anything about that and I'm not having a repair shop to give you an estimate. You have to ask around.
What's the aspect ratio you've used in the ppsspp? Is it worth it to buy the rg40xxv?
