This game is indeed very charming and the character designs and personalities pop out. Open world games like Wuwa can be very time consuming with their grind mechanics, ZZZ is a nice companion if you can't drop Genshin.
I'm curious to try it, the character designs are amazing, the art direction is unique, and I'm glad it isn't open world, I like open world like genshin, but they takes a loooot of time unfortunately q.q
Gotta say, I do not want to play another game with a big open world full of chores. Grown a bit burnt out on it from both Genshin and now Wuthering Waves (which feels like a Genshin copy-paste). ZZZ looks like it'll be nice to just focus on the combat.
That's why i'm playing Snowbreak no huge open worlds but instances that can be cleared pretty quick. Will play ZZZ for sure instances with some randomization in a semi open worlds are the best.
It's less than 20%, you see the TV in 2 places, 1 time story content. and Hollow Zero (rogue like/simulated universe w/e you call it) Once you reach end game, most difficult challenge and grind does not involve TV. and you will only see those TVs in your weekly Hollow Zero Grind (which isn't that much, It's not like simulated universe is full of combat either)
Imo HSR is amazing and now Wuwa sets a new standard for combat in open world games. ZZZ just has so much personality though and I do wanna play it a lot 4:35
While I playing Wuwa , and CC’s are storing this narrative that Wuwa competes with Genshin. While they might have the potential to, it’s dangerous because ZZZ has the potential to be a big game as well it targets a wider audience to me. Plus it on PS5 same day, it has controller optimization on mobile, they even went full promo yet. It’s gonna shock some folks
Genshin and HSR are the moneymakers, HI3rd and GGZ are passion projects. While they arent mutually exclusive, we'll see where ZZZ trends towards in time. I hate that the 50/50 system is the norm now tho. I hope HI3rd never ends up adopting that system.
Honestly, i'd say HSR is also their passion project too, being tied with Honkai 3rd as well as the attention they actualy give on the game itself as a whole is actually really intricate. Not to mention the love they give to the fanbase. Fr tho, so far the only hoyo game that felt purely like a moneymaker for them is Genshin.
@@m.wafiraihan1364 if it was purely moneymaking, it wouldnt be as popular as it is now do not disregard and/or minimize the amount of passion, effort and money that actually takes to make that game and make sure it actually works with as minimal bugs as it does and have enough content that people can humanly make without crunch so that players are satisfied.
while zzz looks fun, i'm not sure if i want to start playing a gacha. i got burned out many times playing genshin, and decided to give it up for good. none of the other hoyo games interest me, i liked the keqing collab during 2021 in HI3 but i dropped after that. for genshin i loved the combat and open world exploration but it's time consuming and full of very annoying repetitive tasks and dialogue that doesn't feel like it matters. also, P5X will be out eventually in english so i'd be checking into 2 games at once. ugh
Tbh, its probably just to get back into the action asap. If ur talking about it visually, I think theyll add the flashy stuff in eventually. U know they could add in real good stuff from HI3rd's
@@garethcf1016 I meant more like how every ultimate is just a recycled QTE and you can get ultimates more easily from just staggering enemies rather than using the ultimate button. Albeit, you use the ultimate button in co-op because cutscenes, QTEs, and switches are disabled in co-op.
the change to ults is jarring. I equate it to them moving some of the animation/technical budget off of an ultimate, and into the rest of the kit. there's only so much time to make a character, right? why not give some flash to the rest of the kit. ulting is also a shared resource, meaning you see the animation way less. it feels like one of the reasons we're seeing so much flair and polish in these characters - by cutting off some pretty critical portions of production (explorable open worlds, etc), more effort can be put into the gameplay.

This is actually a solid video essay! I'm kinda suprised that this isn't that popular. Keep up the good work dude!
Thanks, much appreciated!

ye open worlds feel very time consuming
Na for real.. I thought I would love something new like wuwa but then I realized that i dont like the open world genre anymore..

ZZZ is just HI3rd clone tho
after the cbt3 They have reduced the TV mod significantly it almost became 20%
Yeah, I heard that was a complaint with cbt 2.

Great video my dude! I agree that we must get our hands on the game and see how it feels to play and grind
the Deadpool Android has a tramp stamp that says "A55", this is definitely their best game yet
I love ZZZ music and character animation
I’ve preordered it on PS5. Can’t wait to play it.
Remember guys. If any CC is sponsored by Hoyo...they are not allowed to speak bad about the game. Just as a reminder.

Pgr has better combat then wuwa in my opinion the standard was set way before wuwa just not spotlighted

The tv mini game which is actually the main game and no uncapped fps in hoyo games thanks to apple always leave a sour taste in my mouth.
I think you can just say youve played ever major hoyo game. GGZ and Song of Saya are pretty deep cuts 🤣

I’ll give it a try but I physically can’t start another gacha game
My question is why do ultimates have to suck so much.

@@slock5732 Fair. Also ultimates are meant for co-op where QTEs and switch dodges/parries are disabled anywyas.
