    I have cloudflare setup for DNS management. While migration it is creating mess with SSL, resulting too many redirects error. Tried installing raw WordPress on VPS and did setul, but still didn't came out of this problem.

    • @IdeaSpot

      make sure you have cloudflare ssl set to: full(strict), also sometimes resetting the .htaccess file can help like they do here: www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-error-too-many-redirects-issue-in-wordpress/

    Bro, I've an issue with Oracle Cloud. It would be great if you could help me. I've deleted my old VPS (which was using an Ampere CPU). I tried to create another one, but now there's a message that makes me impossible to make one more VPS. That message says: "Out of capacity for shape VM.Standard.A1.Flex in availability domain AD-3. Create the instance in a different availability domain or try again later. If you specified a fault domain, try creating the instance without specifying a fault domain, otherwise try creating the instance in a different availability domain. If that doesn’t work, please try again later." IT's the same message for all aviability domain.

      @IdeaSpot  ปีที่แล้ว

      same, just have to wait for them to open some more capacity, it can take a while :(

    Sometimes the backup file downloaded using all in one migrator doesn't work when restoring. I lost few website backups from my old server because of this.
    Is there any free automatic backup plugins for WordPress you suggest ?

    • @IdeaSpot
      @IdeaSpot  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Plugins can be unreliable depending on the server backend setup - for an auto solution usually there is something on the hosting panel you should use rather than Wordpress

    • @IdeaSpot
      @IdeaSpot  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Also when a restore dosent work, try uploading the file manually in a file manager or sftp - often it’s a server timeout that stops a large file from being restored

    • @pranoykr
      @pranoykr ปีที่แล้ว

      I am usually uploading it from hosting file manager only. My issue was when I forgot to renew the hosting plan and no other option to recover. The all in one migrator backup was corrupt. Anyways since then I always download the website database and filesystem from the hosting panel.

    Your audio sounds compressed and eq'd low. Seems awesome, but comes across boomy. It would be nice to back that off and pick up the other frequencies so that it's easy to listen to your voice. If that's your natural voice, holy cow bro you can get some good gigs as a voice artist.

    • @IdeaSpot
      @IdeaSpot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I tried a different setup and messed it up here it’s actually clipping from too much gain, so yeah boomy distortion, I’ve got it fixed for next time though 👍
      I was also a bit sick 🤢 this week and that makes my voice go way lower for some reason for a few day s

    There are 2 issues with this video:
    1. If your website is 10GB+ then downloading and uploading the website to the new host is very very slow and annoying. If you have a slower internet, then it's game over. So this video is not for everyone.
    2. Taking a copy of the website using ALL-IN-ONE migration tool is also not very good as that tool has a high rate of failing when you have a more difficult website setup then a casual WordPress website with few plugins. Especially if your backup file is a bit older. If the day will come that you need to restore a website, the tool can fail you very hard. It's not reliable. Also, it has limitations on how big the file can be, of course, there are addons but again, you will get 1 single file that is basically unfixable if it's not working without their support.
    This video is for people who's website is small and want a quick and simple transfer.

      Thanks for these comments, I have used this successfully even on a 8+GB woocommerce site for someone's slow Bluehost plan, so in my experience its probably the most reliable plugin based option (probably why it's the most popular plugin for this use).
      However, yes, there will be limits under certain connection and server configs - but then what? Often we will then need to do it manually via SSH which is probably beyond the skill level for most casual users - in those situations its easily worth a few dollars to pay a professional to handle it at that point.
