I remember this comment by someone who said they’d wipe the inside of their windshield side to side and then the outside he’d wipe up and down. So once it got dirty he’d be able to tell if it was the inside or out
Yea that’s a great technique!
It’s a great tip tbh.
🤔 great tips. I do appreciate the knowledge out here
Bro! My dumbass has been struggling with the steering wheel my whole life!! and I'm 56 years old, lol..... that tip alone was magical. Thank you🎉
Yes, it’s a simple tip that could really change the game. I’m really glad that this video was able help you! Thank you for watching 🤝💯👍🏻
The inside windshield is always a pain in the butt but I have to do it.
Yes exactly it is definitely the most difficult one always 😩
So I made this video hoping it would help 👍🏻🙏🏻
Great tip! Thank you. Can you make a vid. on how to clean back inside windshield ? Thank you! in advance

This was super helpful, I always struggle with the windshield
I just sit on both sides. Also a nice set of like 4 microfiber clothes is a must, cheap ones won’t cut it.
Yes indeed the ones in the video are literally called FTW (for the windows) from the rag company
Oscar Habibi what a video!!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks bro, something so simple yet i could never get right 😂😂
My pleasure.
To be honest even though I do this for a living and every day almost, it’s still the hardest part because there’s many variables to consider and weird angles you have to get into lol so don’t feel bad
Much obliged bro
Thanks for watching
Brilliant!!

Why do u need 2 towels why not just flip one to the dry side?
Good question.
Yes you could do that if you’re only doing the windshield. However if you are doing all the cars windows inside and out you’ll most likely need two towels because each window you’ll want to use a new side of the towel so there’s no cross contamination
Monicca sprayed the inside of the windshield, I love it. I was spraying the towel but having poor results. Thank you!
Glad it could help! 🤝
I always use hot water and 2 rags. First rag is wet and the second one is dry. I will definitely try it with cleaner tho!!
👍🏻I’ve heard that’s a good method also, I guess more so if you are in a cold area of the Country.
Thank you so much 💓
Thank you very much for watching & taking the time to comment!

Hell yeah ty
Glad I could help 👍🏻
y'all pay attention he's wearing gloves as well I know lots of people will not take that a bit into consideration but fr wear gloves
Hey glad you noticed brother! Personally, it’s shocking to me how many detailers I see not wearing gloves.
I use a squeegee with water and dish soap! It works amazingly 👍🏻
Whatever works for you 🤙🏻
Refilm in a Cybertruck now plz lol
Oh yeah that’s going to be the ultimate test lol
I don’t have any clients with one yet

The problem is the type of towel you’re using. You would need a towel that is woven in a way to not leave lint. If you click on “more” or the three dots on the video and then click on “description” I have two types of towels that are made for window cleaning and won’t leave lint behind.
What product did you spray on the windshield???
It’s called True vue by P&S.
I have it linked in the description of this video if you are interested in getting it.

Hi,
My Leather Dashboard Has Water Looking Spots.
2022 Infinity, Just Bought It.
Hard to tell what the exact issue is or how to solve it without seeing it in person, but you can try taking it to the dealer and asking them about it. Or using an interior cleaner to remove it
This method works really well however a spray bottle with 3 to 4 drops.of dish liquid filled with water and newspaper gives the same exact results. Old newspaper is free and dawn dish soap is cheap. No Need to buy and or repeatedly wash towels.....
Yes that’s how most people used to do it, and if that is better for you then go ahead; but I think it easier to use and mange a towel across a windshield than a newspaper. Also in todays society who has or gets newspaper 🗞️ anymore?
What type of towels to use ?
Waffle weave or FTW (for the windows) are the best or any short nap towel with no lint. I have them linked on the “description” part of this video
Perfect guide how to leave lint all over the windshield 😂
Says the “expert”
In India steering is in right side and I m right handie
Wonder what kind of solution was it
If you’re able to find & click on “description” it will be linked there. If not you can get “invisible glass” from auto zone or Walmart or Home Depot

@@OQDetailing been using this at work
@@castenstarks6394 very glad it could help you out 😃
Do you have a video for the outside…. Traveling need a street free windshield thank you
I don’t have a video, but it would be the same process, just follow the steps from this one and it will work.
Main thing for streak free is to do it in the shade not in direct sunlight and have clean towels.
This may sound dumb but can you use vinegar and water to clean car windows?
It’s not dumb and yes you can, some detailers even only use water sometimes. I would recommend about 1/10 of vinegar in the bottle only however
What solutions do you recommend
The ones I recommend are linked in the description part of this video
What do I do about the microfiber towels leaving lint behind?
Use different towels with a short pile. I use coating removal towels (flat microfibres with no hairs). Also silk towels work very well on glass and are lint free. Tint suppliers also sell lint free paper towels but they aren’t cheap
@@Aaron-tv6fs thank you, kind folk.
Would you consider addressing stubborn interior windshield buildup . I believe its from the plastic on the dashboard breaking down??
I don’t know what’s true but i can’t get it clean or keep it clean
I would recommend you to use a magic eraser for one or two passes before doing the normal window cleaning. Also I recommend you using either the p&s paint prep or carpro cleaner I have linked in the description of this video. The reason why those specific ones is because they contain alcohol and some strong detergents for more serious window cleaning like in the situation you described.
Let me know if that works for you
So streaking is when small water parts are left behind right?
There’s a couple different reasons but yes that’s one of them. A dirty towel that was used to clean something else could also leave streaks, or the direct scorching sun drying the cleaning solution before you can even wipe it off
What solution mix do you use?
Invisible glass or p&s Tru Vue,
I have links to them listed on the description part of the video.
I'm rebuilding an 84 VW golf. based on your detailing experience, which seat material is the most durable, and easiest to clean?
I should be asking you, you are Jesus Christ 😅 jk
From my experience faux leather is the easiest to maintain and lasts longest. It’s called by different names like “vegan leather” “pleather” “vinyl” etc
But what solution do you use?
I have a couple linked on the “description” part of the video. Usually you can find it by clicking on the 3 dots

@@meangreen7389 my pleasure & we appreciate the support and do believe we offer a lot of valuable information on our channel, thank you!
What is the brand/solution you use?
Invisible glass, I have an Amazon
link in the description part of the video. You can view it by clicking on the 3 dots at the top corner of the video.
name of solution please?
Tru vue by P&S
If you click on the three little dots or “more” and click on “description” I have 3 solutions I recommend including this one.
Hope it helps 🤝
Where did you buy the rags from? Nice fabric
Yea these are my favorite ones, they are from The Rag Company. They are called FTW (For the windows)
Always use glass towels not any microfiber towels or you get lint on glass.
Yes, and the ones used in the video are literally called FTW “For The Windows” but
Not everyone has specific glass towels or will want to buy specific glass towels.
Also lint will be minimal either way and not really noticeable when actually driving; having dirty streaky windows will be a bigger issue than having some lint.
What about when you have to be in the sun
If you are in the sun you just spray a little more cleaner and work faster because the sun dries out the cleaner and evaporates it if you don’t work it in fast enough pretty much
I'm looking for a actual dirty window this looks like it's in the car that gets cleaned every week.
The process would be the same. Worst case scenario you might need to do more than one pass.
Or just find another video that best suits your scenario
So how many towels do you end up using?
Two
@@OQDetailing for the Entire vehicle?
@@Poppi_Weasel yea, so you told the towel into 4 and you switch it for each window, and then you turn it inside out and do the same and that should be more than enough.
What solution should I use
Any glass cleaner without ammonia will work. One that is easy to find at Many stores that works great is invisible glass
@@OQDetailing
What about dish soap
@@Mm.2112I think it would work, wouldn’t hurt to try it. I’ve used dawn on house windows before and it worked
@@OQDetailing
Thank you
I have 30% tint on the front window 50% on the back is using dish soap like Dawn harmful, will it make the tint fade sooner
@@Mm.2112 no, most tint film applies actually use Dawn soap during their process. A ceramic tint should last you the life of the car, anything less most likely will fail, fade or bubble a few years down the line
If you take your hat off you can reach more 😂😂😂😂😂
At no point was my hat hat in the way, this has to be the most immature & ignorant comment I’ve received so far
Bet money on the shade or at night that window is streaked and hazy Asa mfer
Ahh yes let’s listen to the person who doesn’t run a professional business and doesn’t do this work daily 🥱
still streaks
