Gilles was a massive talent, i had the privilege of seeing him race in 2 Canadian GP's where he finnished 2nd and 3rd, i was crushed when he lost his life. Years later, when Jacques took his championship, i cried, i was seeing Jacques win, but to me he was fulfilling Gilles legacy. I still love F1, but i loved it with far more passion when Gilles was with us.
Opinions are divided about Villeneuve. Many said he was what F1 was all about, others said he was an accident waiting to happen. Well, in both cases true. Highly talented who wouldn't give up until he had to, yet had many close calls & accidents due to trying to push things beyond limits. That was the case in Zolder, though what happened with Pironi at the previous race at Imola didn't help matters.
Gilles was the most exciting driver ever to strap into a Formula One car. I feel hugely priviledged to have seen such an amazing driver during my lifetime. He will remain one of motor racing's greatest legends long after the current 'Eff Wun' w**kers have been forgotten.

My former Boss raced against him in Snowmobile races
Yes. Very poor doc.
Poor documentary of his life.
Full of inaccuracies including a narrator who can't even pronounce Gilles' surname...
Terrible content, terrible voice, poor info of such an icon.
