I have been following Angelina for three years, now. It is hard to believe, because she has been doing this girl so long, however, I believe she is just 12 years old in this video. She is not only an amazing singer, she is a wonderful human being, which makes me adore her even more. You guys are very lucky. I have maybe 15, or 20 , years left on this planet. Time that I know I will enjoy with the phenomenal, young, up- and coming superstars -Angelina, Grace Vanderwaal, Aurora, Amira Willighagen. Diana Ankudinova, Dimash, Daneliya, just to mention a few. Hi guys! Thanks for another excellent reaction to Angelina. This performance showed that she is prepared to move out of her comfort zone and tackle any song she feels like singing and do so with passion and emotion. Having covered songs by some 81 artists in the six years she has been singing publicly, I do wonder who is the next "victim". Whoever it is, she will show the same respect for the artist and modify the song to claim ownership, while still retaining the essential elements.
This is what I've read about this Angelina cover of Whitney. She was trolled (who the fudge trolls a 12 year old girl?!!) and they said things like -she can "only" sing soft and jazzy, she can't belt like (fill in some pop singers name here). So Angelina just said "hold my juice box, and watch this" and recorded this song. She has loved Whitney since she was very young (there's video of her at 1,5 years old singing I will always love you) so I'd say that's why she choose this one. And being Angelina, she of course kills it...
