I swear that the one time I played this game on arcade hardware, the main character was Goku, or a look-a-like... with the big spiky hair. I had no idea what the name of this game was, imagine seeing it here, by chance.
This game lived rent free in my mind for decades until PC's could play Arcade games... I remember searching for hours trying to figure out what his was called... now I'll never forget... I was like 8 when I played this at a local video game store back in the late 80's / early 90's... like probably 89 or 90. It was very reminiscent of Fist of the North Star....despite everyone saying DBZ.

It's a weird choice to use letters, instead of kanji for the *mini-bosses'* s names (for no reason), but even weirder, to keep their names on screen all the time, 'till the next boss.

A lot of good memories playing this game with my cousins at a corner store in the 80s
I remember loving this game in a circle k by my high school they even had splatterhouse ninja spirit and violence fight in the same store

When you do the meditation move and he gets that pink flame around him, you can meditate again and the flame changes colors.
I kept waiting for him to power it up again to brother.
This game has influences of Dragon Ball and Fist of the North Star.
As a kid, this was the closest thing to Dragon Ball I can play. So my friends and I always called this the "Goku Game".

Bosses are all taken by Hokuto No Ken: Yuda, Ryuga, Shu, Souther, Raoh, in this order. And also the girl you find in the end is clearly Lynn. :-D
