Much respect to the two Kansas players on the bench who never quit cheering for their teammates.
I really miss this Auburn team.
Me too man, they were exactly the kind of basketball I enjoy watching and they also happened to be my favorite team. This year's team had a rocky start but I think they might surprise a few people by season's end.
im still a terrible fan who has no confidence in us but auburn is the definition of peaking at the right time.

This comment aged extremely well. Kansas came back one year later in 2020 to finish as the FINAL No. 1 team, almost unanimous, in both the AP and Coaches Poll. They were 28-3 with two of the losses by a combined 3 points. Kansas was going to be the overall No. 1 team in the 2020 NCAA Tournament….then COVID hit. Kansas had the No. 1 Center in 7 foot and muscular Udoka Azubuike and probably the No. 1 point guard in Devon Dotson (fastest for sure). In COVID 2020, the polls were the ONLY thing that could have (and should have) determined the National Champion…..just like college football did for about 70 years. Kansas….2020 COVID National Champions.

Me right here. Kinda nervous tbh. Nassir playing and not playing could hurt us and help us. Hurt in the fact we lose offense but if he doesn’t play that could help our perimeter defense as he is not great at guarding the 3

The previous time Bruce Pearl and Bill Self met, Tennessee defeated then #1 Kansas during the 2009-10 season.

Scared? We're playing about as good as any team in college basketball can play right now. It'll be a high level, up and down, back and forth game, but if we play our game we beat Auburn.

Saw auburn at gojo’s. They had the whole military watching over them.
I was looking for the full game of Auburn versus Kansas, but after seeing these highlights, I am not sure I want to see the full game. Auburn led almost from the start! Kansas only scored 37 points in first half, game over.
Did Kansas
have some star players missing or injured? They could not keep up with Auburn who ran and ran.
Bryce Brown hit about 7 three pointers in first half and had over 25 points for the game. Auburn was on fire!
And just think they actually had Kansas as the number 1 team in the nation earlier in the season....lol

Wow. Remember when Kansas opened up this season as the AP top 25 #1?? Their string of 14 straight Big12 championships came to an end and they failed to reach the Sweet 16.

Bruce Pearl said what Clemson did to Auburn in the 2nd round in 2018 inspired AU's players to do likewise to KU in 2019. They fed off their 2018 loss, and took it out on KU.
kansas is lacking the experience they usually depend on. next year will be slightly better but in year three for dotson and grimes watch out.
