We’ve got people fishing, we’re maxing out trapping, we’ve got people foraging for the berries, and we grab the food from the fauna. We also bring back food from the world map too. I think it all adds up.
Great question and one I didn't really know myself until looking it up. From my research, people say that only guards in towers and at the gate will equip such weapons. However, they will grab weapons from the nearest stock pile meaning you need to make sure you have the weapons you want them to use at the closest stock pile to where they are. I believe you can use the "request resource" button to transfer over items to general storage buildings. Hope this helps and works out :)

Hey I have saved up 80 auto weapons but my survivors are still using crossbow, anyway to force them to pick up a better weapon ?
