Singapore is very small market, only for money laundering heaven, no more advantages for real business exploration ,especially future.about its highest gdp per capital, actually its digital game,no more real influence at people ordinary life.

Depends on what you’re looking for, if you’re single and have your life ahead of you, Singapore is not the best place for you. Thailand provides a lot of excitement at affordable prices and I would love to visit or work there as a Single. However, as a parent with young kids, my preference would be in Singapore due to the safety and good quality education available. Both Bangkok and Singapore have different things to offer at different stages of life.

I’m Thai and have been working in Singapore since 2007. I prefer working in Singapore and plan to retire in Thailand. The weather is better, and the work environment is transparent, straightforward, and efficient. There are no traffic jams, but Thai food is still the best for me. Thanks for sharing this video 😊

If you are rich and prefer a disciplined life , visit S'pore to explore the the high-rise skyscrapers and a beautiful man-made gardens and the modern airport of the clean country. It's the only country that develop so fast along with high cost of living.
However, if you're youngsters or eldery who love to have fun with open-minded Thai people, enjoy various kinds of yummy food , whole year tropical fruits, all kind of shopping stuff with very very cheap price and love the exciting nightlife, beautiful temples, Bangkok is one of the best countries in South-East Asia that you should never miss!! You would want to return again and again. Also there are other tourist attraction places of Thailand like Phuket, Chaingmai, Samui, Samed, Pattaya, Huahin. It worths your money!! Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a modern city-state and the smallest island country in Southeast Asia.
Thailand, officially the Kingdom of Thailand, is a nation-state located in Southeast Asia. Originally called "Siam", the government officially changed its name to Thailand in 1939. Thailand is the 50th largest country in the world, covering an area of 513,120 square kilometers, and the 20th most populous country in the world, with a population of approximately 70 million people. It is also the country with the most international tourists in the world.

Context: i'm a singaporean who prefers chiang mai and krabi over Singapore/Bangkok, so i have nothing against people having a personal preference of other cities over singapore. However, I do think that your experience in singapore was mostly limited to the ultra high end tourist traps and japanese/western food, skewing your perspective. Fair to say that Bangkok is more vibrant and colorful in general, but singapore has lots of great local food (both at the low and high end) which you should try next time :)
To get a sense, check out anthony bourdain's old videos of singapore - there's a reason he came back so many times and is one of his favourite places for food.

I live in Sydney, Australia and I will have my third visit to Bangkok during Christmas and NY 2025. Bangkok is very special place to hang around and party but the weather is a killer. I was there during Songkran festival and the temperature was around 40C during day time. I literally cancelled 80% of my plan and instead hung around in the air-conditioning shopping malls.
Bangkok Thai food is comprising high proportion of Chinese cuisine. For example, various of noodles dishes (keoh teow), Hainan Chicken Rice (Kau Mun Gai), Pork Leg Rice (Kau Kah Mu), fish sauce (origin from ChauShan, Guangzhou), etc.
Buddhism is originally from India and Thai Chinese is sad that they are no longer able to speak their own languages. It was a cultural gentrification.
An average Singaporeans have a better life compared to Bangkokian.
I am thinking of purchasing a Unit (condo) in Thong Lo or Na Na in the future but I don’t think I will able to live in 365 days due to its pollution and heats.

This is like comparing apples to oranges. Singapore is about wealth and more wealth. It has strict social policies and controls to maintain the spectacular city into which it has evolved. Like it or not it is on the top rung of world class cities. Bangkok, while also a world class city, is more of a live and let live kind of environment where you can see ultra wealth and proud people struggling. My advice after having visited both cities, if it’s your first time to SE Asia, plan on visiting both. Both cities have so much to offer, and you might find you enjoy both for different reasons. It’s just a minor mind reset. Also, you might want to include Kuala Lumpur on your itinerary - another spectacular city.

HI. Singapore is duur KL is relatief goedkoop.

Hi. First time here. I'm Thai who just went to Singapore first time on holiday for couple days, 2-3 weeks ago.
I love public transpotation there which one card can be used to paid all system. On the bus, people there can sit and wait until the bus to completely stop then leave their seat, and the bus wait for them to get off. We can't do that here, lol.
The people are nice(we experience rude food server there once in that couple days). The food is OK for me. Clean air compare to here as you said. I feel Thailand is hotter.
Drinkable tap water is really convenience. But still need some cold water during the day then found that everything there was quite expensive for me even a bottle of cold water. Now i know why foreigner keep mention that Thailand 7-11 is their favourite.

Infrastructure and safety, Singapore is far better than Bangkok, no doubt about it! Education is one of the best, You can make much more money in Singapore. Anyway cost of living has been sky rocketing after pandemic. No country is perfect depending on your life stye.

Thanks for visiting and creating videos of my country, Singapore. -----> As a Singaporean myself, I do agree that many singaporeans love to "show-off" which can be a turn off to most people.

Some place have been run by one family throughout history through one political party in a way that you cannot deny. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to live there because there are areas as you can see. But when you talk about Bangkok, you mean the heart of Bangkok, expats or tourist area or the whole of Bangkok, some of which are not developed and not many foreigners go to because it is difficult to get there.

Depends on what one’s judgement values are. If one prioritised safety, convenience of daily life, food, excellent education system, a good job, good health care, great banking, low or no tax (no dividends gains, inheritance or capital gain tax), lack of homelessness, less crimes, then Singapore is a great choice. Thailand is great too in these and other areas but these are Singapore’s greatest strength. A good job, good safe environment are some of the keys to one’s wellbeing (although they do not guarantee it), hence the attractiveness of Singapores.

In terms of quality of life and development, Singapore is about 20-30 years ahead of bangkok.
But in terms of relaxation and pressure, Bangkok is more suitable. There's no pressure to do more, as opposed to singapore grind culture
For me, singapore 10x over, especially with family. English, chinese, best schools, best opportunities, high earnings.

@@1984-w6g Last month, and pretty obvious it is.
A city is not 20-30 years ahead just because of buildings, it's the whole lifestyle. Way less poverty, way less accidents, way better education, way better financials. Singapore is a city that can compete with the entire world, Bangkok can't.
      Not right no, atleast.
It would be wild to say otherwise.
