Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a modern city-state and the smallest island country in Southeast Asia. Thailand, officially the Kingdom of Thailand, is a nation-state located in Southeast Asia. Originally called "Siam", the government officially changed its name to Thailand in 1939. I was there during Songkran festival and the temperature was around 40C during day time. I literally cancelled 80% of my plan and instead hung around in the air-conditioning shopping malls. Bangkok Thai food is comprising high proportion of Chinese cuisine. For example, various of noodles dishes (keoh teow), Hainan Chicken Rice (Kau Mun Gai), Pork Leg Rice (Kau Kah Mu), fish sauce (origin from ChauShan, Guangzhou), etc. Buddhism is originally from India and Thai Chinese is sad that they are no longer able to speak their own languages. Just go to one small part of Singapore and ate all the high end international food, then made sweeping comparison, stirring dissensions among friendly SEA asians. One of the worst TH-camr I ever watch.
Having lived in both Bangkok and Singapore, I just wish Bangkok were as green as Singapore, and more walkable public space near rivers and canals. Still, overall Bangkok is much more happening.
Most guys prefer Thailand of course. But If you are into investment, learning and business opportunities Singapore hands down. You want an easy life and, and some business opportunities, Thailand. I have been to SEA for 15 yrs.
As a local here. Bangkok has so much more to offer compare to singapore. It has the modern and old vibes in bangkok. Pollution of cause here is much better. But singapore is bascially a very expensive city to live in. The wages here are still underpaid . The salary gap between rich and poor are too wide. Its a social problem here.
Hi Bro, by name you are Dutch. You miss Holland Village in Singapore its expensive area. Absolutely most people over the world like bkk, because night never die. Bangkok still behind singapore 10 or 20 yrs. Singapore is very safe with family members.
Its all depend on yr personal preference of the word fun & enjoyment. Living cheaply & socially active does not equate to true happiness. Every country & every citizen has their own way of living their lives socially, culturally & economically and if you are just an outsider living such lives different from yr own it will definitely be more appealing. Happiness wont lasts once the reality of living starts setting in.
Infrastructure and safety, Singapore is far better than Bangkok, no doubt about it! Education is one of the best, You can make much more money in Singapore. Anyway cost of living has been sky rocketing after pandemic. No country is perfect depending on your life stye.
Fair enough! Since we are running online businesses and work location independent, we don’t really agree that you can make more in Singapore. However, i understand this is this is the case for majority of the people.
Thailand is safe too, infrastructure in bangkok probably has more transportation choices than Singapore too. Also thailand is much more lively than singapore and 100times much more things to do comparing to singapore.
Thanks for visiting and creating videos of my country, Singapore. -----> As a Singaporean myself, I do agree that many singaporeans love to "show-off" which can be a turn off to most people.
Some place have been run by one family throughout history through one political party in a way that you cannot deny. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to live there because there are areas as you can see. But when you talk about Bangkok, you mean the heart of Bangkok, expats or tourist area or the whole of Bangkok, some of which are not developed and not many foreigners go to because it is difficult to get there.
Depends on what one’s judgement values are. If one prioritised safety, convenience of daily life, food, excellent education system, a good job, good health care, great banking, low or no tax (no dividends gains, inheritance or capital gain tax), lack of homelessness, less crimes, then Singapore is a great choice. Thailand is great too in these and other areas but these are Singapore’s greatest strength. A good job, good safe environment are some of the keys to one’s wellbeing (although they do not guarantee it), hence the attractiveness of Singapores.
In terms of quality of life and development, Singapore is about 20-30 years ahead of bangkok. But in terms of relaxation and pressure, Bangkok is more suitable. There's no pressure to do more, as opposed to singapore grind culture For me, singapore 10x over, especially with family. English, chinese, best schools, best opportunities, high earnings.
Good for you, Sir. For me personally, Bangkok is in a league of her own. No place on earth comes close. Despite her flaws & shortcomings, she is THAT GIRL 💅👄😘
@@1984-w6g Last month, and pretty obvious it is. A city is not 20-30 years ahead just because of buildings, it's the whole lifestyle. Way less poverty, way less accidents, way better education, way better financials. Singapore is a city that can compete with the entire world, Bangkok can't. Not right no, atleast. It would be wild to say otherwise.

America is full of homeless people, even though it is the number one country in the world, what more can you say about Thailand, which is perfect in every way.
Obviously for LGBTQ people, Thailand will be the best & safest country to live in. Even though singapore has decriminalised gay sex between men but still long way to go to gain full same sex equality and there’s still discrimination against lgbtq in workplace
Hands down Thailand. Its people, culture, food, and its spectacular abundance in nature with plenty of open spaces. Economically, Thailand is still growing, which makes it exciting. Whist Singapore seemed saturated and too much of a concert jungle for me.
Singapore is artificial, expansive and soulless on the positive side, its cleaner Bangkok is alive, cheap and high energy yes more dirty but nothing you couldn't handle, all good. Just my opinion
Successful wealthy intelligent educated people go to Singapore..... students, back-packers, low income earners and s*xpats go to Bankok for the go go girls, drink and cheap life style. Singapore is organised, clean, well maintained, transparent, easy to do business, great english, low crime, etc etc etc, i know which city i'd rather go to Singapore is just very very very expensive, Bankok is cheap as chips.

You didn't visit Chinatown, Little India or Kampong Glam? No hawker centres?
Just go to one small part of Singapore and ate all the high end international food, then made sweeping comparison, stirring dissensions among friendly SEA asians. One of the worst TH-camr I ever watch.
Bro thailand or malaysia which is your favourite country ?
Thailand bro❤️
Having lived in both Bangkok and Singapore, I just wish Bangkok were as green as Singapore, and more walkable public space near rivers and canals.
Still, overall Bangkok is much more happening.
More green in Bangkok would be amazing!
Too hot to walk dude, nobody is walking here
@@1984-w6g i run 5-10km everyday before Muay Thai bro so its doable haha!
@@thomasbusinessbelts i know im thai living in bangkok too, also i love running too. Just a little sarcasm about more public walkable 🤣
I am from Singapore. My girlfriend lives in Khon Kean. We meet up in Bangkok.
Land is scarce here in Singapore hence rental is higher (hence obviously things will be more expensive here).
I wan to go visit sometime thank you for sharing
You should!🙏
Most guys prefer Thailand of course. But If you are into investment, learning and business opportunities Singapore hands down.
You want an easy life and, and some business opportunities, Thailand. I have been to SEA for 15 yrs.
@@Hunter-go4bv i think that depends on what kind of business you’re in 🙌. Thanks for sharing!
How's the air quality in Bangkok?
Sabai sabai krub
I also like Thailand. It's my play ground. Kupkar mak mak. Maipenrai.
Hi Bro, by name you are Dutch.
You miss Holland Village in Singapore its expensive area.
Absolutely most people over the world like bkk, because night never die.
Bangkok still behind singapore 10 or 20 yrs.
Singapore is very safe with family members.
Singapore = robot
Thailand = human
Both is good tho
Welcome to Thailand sir 🙏🏻🫶🏻💕🇹🇭
Singapore is small city . Bangkok bettet ❤
I like both🙌
Singapore is expensive for no reason.
Singapore is only a playground for the rich
No reason? Really? Hmm
Reasons that you are not wise enough to know.
look like you love SIN country dont compare you can choose to live there, SIN is small country but in thailand not only BKK but we have 76provices
77
No need to compare much. Each has its own attraction. Stay one month in Singapore can stay more than three months in Thailand.
bangkok i like more
Its all depend on yr personal preference of the word fun & enjoyment. Living cheaply & socially active does not equate to true happiness. Every country & every citizen has their own way of living their lives socially, culturally & economically and if you are just an outsider living such lives different from yr own it will definitely be more appealing. Happiness wont lasts once the reality of living starts setting in.
You should visit east java...very beautiful
No need to compare.
Every country has its own merits. No country is perfect,
Welcome to BKK. 🇹🇭
great video
@@thomasbusinessbeltsSpot on! BKK is still the 3rd best place in Asia to do business.
You spent more money in SG.than BKK.😅😅😅
Because Singapore is expensive and Bangkok is cheaper
Thanks for visiting and creating videos of my country, Singapore. -----> As a Singaporean myself, I do agree that many singaporeans love to "show-off" which can be a turn off to most people.
Some place have been run by one family throughout history through one political party in a way that you cannot deny. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to live there because there are areas as you can see. But when you talk about Bangkok, you mean the heart of Bangkok, expats or tourist area or the whole of Bangkok, some of which are not developed and not many foreigners go to because it is difficult to get there.
Live in Thailand but have to go to Singapore often. Bangkok is way better
i absolutely agree.
neem pepper lunch ken je toch wel van bangkok?
Depends on what one’s judgement values are. If one prioritised safety, convenience of daily life, food, excellent education system, a good job, good health care, great banking, low or no tax (no dividends gains, inheritance or capital gain tax), lack of homelessness, less crimes, then Singapore is a great choice. Thailand is great too in these and other areas but these are Singapore’s greatest strength. A good job, good safe environment are some of the keys to one’s wellbeing (although they do not guarantee it), hence the attractiveness of Singapores.
I totally agree! Everyone has a different perspective 🙌

BBK is a paradise on earth 🎉🎉
Not if you are poor.
If you have family and kids then Singapore else is bangkok and you can stretch that dollar to the max.
สวัสดีค่ะ🙏🇹🇭
Thank you very much suggesting attraction different thailand and Singapore
In terms of quality of life and development, Singapore is about 20-30 years ahead of bangkok.
But in terms of relaxation and pressure, Bangkok is more suitable. There's no pressure to do more, as opposed to singapore grind culture
For me, singapore 10x over, especially with family. English, chinese, best schools, best opportunities, high earnings.
Sabai sabai culture against OT culture.
Good for you, Sir. For me personally, Bangkok is in a league of her own. No place on earth comes close. Despite her flaws & shortcomings, she is THAT GIRL 💅👄😘
Thanks for sharing
Singapore is not 20-30 years ahead of bangkok. When is the last time you visit bangkok?
@@1984-w6g Last month, and pretty obvious it is.
A city is not 20-30 years ahead just because of buildings, it's the whole lifestyle. Way less poverty, way less accidents, way better education, way better financials. Singapore is a city that can compete with the entire world, Bangkok can't.
Not right no, atleast.
It would be wild to say otherwise.
singapore is better🎉🎉🎉 despite i am chinese born in thai/ the best is switzerland& NZ😅😅😅
I'm singaporean don't like thailand very irritated, hot, food from outside caused diarrhoea, not safe, travelled 50 countries still Singapore is the best, safety, everything within reach, food from all over the world, ...🙏👍💕

Stay where you are, it's best to stay with something boring for the rest of your life.
@@2502chong No i feel very happy, peaceful, grateful all this life in Singapore, stay healty continue working part time job as my flat fully paid, retiredment cash, medishift life, medisave, still traveling, just came back from Japan sapporo to taste their famous King crab and hanasaki crab cost S$600 ..no stress, busy, take it easy, exercise next to S KOREA for food so on🙏👍😄
I heard from a famous Singaporean TH-camr that already moved to lived here in Thailand and he said Singapore is a very small country and have nothing to do and boring and most of the buildings are the place for the people to live not like in Bangkok that has countless of things to do.
Now I understand why Singapore they just invited the whole Jodd fair night market to have the Thai market events there just this year 2024 while in Singapore there are already has a lot of foods to try probably people there are more serious in life and have less fun activities.🙏👍💕
You are not supposed to eat in taxi in Singapore
Yes bkk is better than when it comes to scammers and economic.. holly crab bro, u talk shit
th-cam.com/video/jqCo2E4JULY/w-d-xo.html
Singapore is better if you have the money to spend.
@@cac1504 money is not an issue honestly 😅😅
But bkk has too many scammers.
Neither. Australia is the place to live and have lived in singapore, thailand and australia.
hahaha...weather all over southeast asian cities is practically THE SAME, ok 😂 its 25-40°c in BKK, or SG or KL or JKT...with a slight variation depending on wind season (maybe). Bcoz all of them are located near the equator.
Its not like comparing btwn London (doesnt snow), or Moscow (snows heavily) or Milan (mediteranean-like). Learn some basic geography, guys 😅
air quality in bkk is garbage other than that its a good city
Smoke from burning forest from Indonesia are they still doing this?😅😅😅
America is still full of homeless people, full of garbage, and dirty train stations, what more so than Thailand.

America is still full of homeless people, full of garbage, and dirty train stations, what more so than Thailand.
America is full of homeless people, even though it is the number one country in the world, what more can you say about Thailand, which is perfect in every way.
Funny! someone went to a Japanese restaurant and then comment that Italian food is better.
U could be a sour grape!
Singapore is not for ANYBODY!
ja man inflatie en dom beleid maken nederland kapot.als je jong en flexibel bent weg wezen zou ik zeggen.
❤️🤍💙💙🤍❤️
Thailand roadside is more colorful. Just don't touch any wire hanging randomly while using the overhead bridge.
What a daft thinking mate.
ยินดีต้อนรับ จากประเทศไทย❤🙏
Successful wealthy intelligent educated people go to Singapore..... students, back-packers, low income earners and s*xpats go to Bankok for the go go girls, drink and cheap life style.
Singapore is organised, clean, well maintained, transparent, easy to do business, great english, low crime, etc etc etc, i know which city i'd rather go to
Singapore is just very very very expensive, Bankok is cheap as chips.
😂 Man do you research. Bangkok is in many ways “cheaper” than Singapore. But if you want a luxury lifestyle and good education (same as Singapore) It’s far from “cheap as chips”. Unless you think that paying 10-15K a year for international schools is cheap (from the age of 4)
@@Joanbkk i don't need to do any research, i've lived in both countries, plus Australia, Portugal, Hungary and UK.
