As a Chinese, I will say that this is a bad car, first of all, it faked up the engine result. And as soon as the crash test result came out, they deducted many safety features like extra material for frontal 25% crash, and used cheaper airbags and worse airbag sensation system
@@drea177cha5er for passengers I don't mind. To be fair that is even pretty nice that old luxury features come to cheaper vehicles. And you don't have to buy some ugly attachable accessory displays. But for driver I want comfort and functionality, buttons accomplish that better. Pretty good solution is also what BMW does, that rotatable joystick.
This is an entirely different platform than the Mach-E and is not a full-electric vehicle. The Mach-E will be produced and sold here in the Chinese market starting this year.

Why the heck is that car going to only sell in China, makes absolutely no sense to me, there are many people around the world who'd really love a car like that, it could boost Ford's sales a lot, but no, they're limiting their best new design in YEARS for just one market? Sure is a big one but still, they're on the losing end if they do it.

US market sales are only 10 million less than China's, but there's less competition in the USA, also they only get half the profits as all foreign brands except Tesla have to be joined 50% 50% with a local brand. North American and South American car market, (which is known for buying more American cars than any other market) combined is bigger than China's. And that's not counting the rest of the world, which also represents a huge market. In conclusion, this awesome vehicle, which would be liked in a huge less competitive market would sell great there as well, so the decision of making it China only is a terrible one.

While it might work in China, might not translate well in others. I am sure that this model might appeal to you personally, but the brand ford is not exactly a luxury brand if you know what I mean.if you were comparing ICE engines then china is definitely behind in terms, check out their EV vehicles thou, they are more likely to be imported wholesale to the American market then ICE models.
There are so much rumours about this model could be the replacement for the Mondeo and Fusion in Europe and North America respectively as some spy photos suggest for a shrouded testing car appeared previously with some similarities to this Evos in size at least from what i could see from this stuff , for example one picture i saw was the car with exactly the same black alloys from my point of view , every thing is possible .
since this car basically is designed in China and by Chinese... At this point, if you bring this car to the US, I wont be surprised if some people start to go protest in front ford dealerships.

@@etbadaboum it’s already all over Europe. As people start to realize this is much more convenient. Those who actually need more space might end up going back to minivans, which are getting a bit of a “revival” right now. See the latest Kia Carnival, which is styled a bit like an SUV.
The time Ford decides to make one of the best cars in their lineup but only sells it in one region. This needs to come to Europe but will probably outsell the Mach-E which is why they are reluctant to bring this over.

The tremendous room in the back is due to its wheelbase which is about 2900mm.
