- Riding my GT Force Enduro Bike at Whistler Bike Park on the last day of Crankworx. I met up with @VanCan and a local shredder who showed me a few lines I hadn't seen before. This video was filmed on the last day of Crankworx, and many trails were closed due to the on going Enduro race.

I think I appreciate what Phil did on that hip even more because I've seen so many people ride it so many times in other videos. When someone does something you've seen a hundred times and still manages to make it look new that really tells you something about their skill!

I don’t know if many people really know about this but there are trails out in louisiana that have uphill and downhill trails, but they also have a lot of features that scare me to an extent I don’t ride a lot of the trails. I’ve been riding for about 2 1/2 years and the one thing I realized was I’m scared of gap jumps, but I really want to hit them someday but I figured putting it out there that there are trails in louisiana that deserve more attention the trails are in Bogue Chitto State Park, and I’d 100% recommend them if you’re ever passing through LA
I’m sure the skill gap of a louisiana rider and an actual mountain rider for how long I’ve been riding is insane but I plan to move out of state to get the true mtb experience in my life
I'm getting the feeling that Whistler may be falling behind other parks. Aside from the size and O.G. history, there are so many really good bike parks popping up that do modern trails so well and maybe even better than Whistler. Just the thoughts I had watching the video.
There are a ton of great bike parks popping up, however none come close to the whole experience you get from Whistler. It's proximity to international airports in Vancouver/Seattle make it super convenient and being surrounded by legendary and well documented riding spots make it a great destination. Not to mention has its own village with all the amenities somebody traveling would want. While there are plenty of bike parks that are building world class trails, i don't think anything will best the Whistler experience in the near future (at least in North America).

Coast Gravity was great. I also rode Powell river last year and they had some of the sickest trails I've ridden to date!

Adding air to your shock allows what travel you have to last longer. less air, less travel time

That's not something I think about when I'm riding haha. I also find it annoying, but I have done it and it does help.
@@SkillsWithPhil Yeph I hear you, thinking out loud here:
1) you could just add a thumbs up icon with a sound effect
2) When editing do a cut to your editing desk and just talk with users, it brings some personal touch as you bring users to your inner space, you don't need to just ask for the like, explain some idea and say something like "If you like what I am doing leave the like", "Like the video if you enjoy X" or just be honest and explain it helps you.

Yo! I’ve been mountain biking a while but sadly haven’t been doing so as much lately because life has started to catch up to me, getting older and getting a full time job, this is coming from someone who is very into the sport, I’m not a beginner, I own a knolly and I love my local trails but have also been to places around the Knoxville Tn/ Chattanooga area, baker creek- Walden’s ridge etc… how would you say you attack hills and jumps so well? I can’t seem to get the courage to hit any cool tricks or get a ton of air? Thanks

In der Anfangszeit des Kanals warst du einfach ein Typ mit Kamera, der seine MTB-Abenteuer dokumentiert hat. Damals hat sich alles irgendwie echter angefühlt. Heute nicht mehr so sehr.
