- Let's see what happens when every character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (as of Pyra & Mythra) faces towards the player and attacks them with their Final Smash. This is the result of the Z-Axis glitch which still works in version 11.0.1 of the game.

The one glitch was patched in the past to activate the Z-Axis glitch but it's cool to see it's still possible.

That is a discovery
His model is actually 3D but they use something in the game to make it give the illusion of him being flat. Pretty sure it's the same for when the other characters get flat in Flat-Zone, DS Chat or the Gameboy Kirby stage

I don’t know why, but the Z-Axis glitch makes this final smash transition to a cutscene look more smooth.

cause its all normally a bunch of projectiles that only launch you if you get hit with the edge but since it cant happen it kept link in hitstun

yeah, all the shots of mythra hit the enemy, mii swordfighter i already knew is overpower and i love it, to bad all the DLC characters final smashes are ALL catching the foe instead something stylishing like mario, swordfighter, piranha plant, when i saw pyra and mythra's final smashes i thought is not going to be catching but is still catching, what a downer but the good side still attacks besides cutscene, at least is not that bad

@@pikachu2198 Piranha Plant's final smash catches the foes though. Petey Piranha's cages can capture or CATCH the foes. And Mii Swordfighter's Final Smash is quite easy to get out of if you're not VERY damaged. And how is catching even a bad thing?
@@obot321sucks4 is not a bad thing, is just not very creative like mario's, pit's, palutena's is catching but still works if she didn't manage to catch, ryu's, ken's, swordfighter's, they have creative final smashes, pyra and mythra sadly is catching but still attacks multiple foes if they catch at least 1 enemy but is not like palutena that she still do it without catching the foe, DLC characters are all catching the foe so is not creative in my opinion, cool that they added cutscenes on the attack but is not a fancy way to attack foes (kazuya at least attacks multiple foes if he manage to catch at least 1 foe just like pyra and mythra, at least for him is something)

It was so unique: you have to do button inputs which would make the final smash stronger. And it fitted Donkey Kong's personality for he is *monke.* But now, we have Mega Punch. Not even a Banana Slamma. *Also, thanks for making me remember every time I died from Palutena's Mega Laser.*

@@supermacaronimario7873 Most Pokemon in the original game series can be both genders, so the Jigglypuff in Smash could either be male or female. As of my knowledge, there's no gender difference between male and female Jigglypuffs.

Mii Brawler is so powerful, the final hit of his final smash doesn’t even need to physically touch his opponent in order to damage them. The mental impact alone is enough to finish the job.
Its interesting to see the fighters from this angle, gives u a good perspective of what it's like to fight them

I see Mythra's changed from PK Starstorm to a concentrated death laser.
Some of them just look stupid and others have wonky triggers and love it! Mii Brawler somehow hit the trigger but didn't actually hit in the flurry itself.

IMO the most interesting Z-axis Final Smash is Mii Brawler's. Not only is it the only one of its type that completely fails to function properly, but in spite of that fact it still corrects the user's horizontal orientation.
And the one to do the most damage was the Mii Swordfighter. Surprisingly.
Also, even normally some of the trapping ones still felt like it was us the viewer getting smacked up.

I'm pretty sure the z- axis glitch is remnant from the map in world of light where you can move in a 3D space and all animations are sometimes directed towards the camera. Because I can't really explain how this works otherwise. I mean I get the character facing the screen but the attacks work in different ways and have different hitboxes so it's not just a character model thing. Just a thought.

surprised that the particles and effects work and aren't in a fixed position. it even tries to launch them towards the screen. Apparently Final Smashes depend on the animation and position, instead of just being in a set rotation/position depending on where the character looks. Some even reset the orientation. Neat!
Also 5:13 Charizard's fire breath makes a symbol shape, can someone translate that, is it a secret message

Who would've thought mythra and sword fighter would have such power in the z-axis.
I tested this out, you can hit foxs, falcos, and wolfs final smash with this glitch, it just takes some timing.
