Nice video. Not sure I've ever seen someone review a movie that they were in. Great job, Timmy.

It's a long time since i've seen Ladybird, but i remember really wanting to find a movie with the same vibe after seeing it, but not being able to find a movie that hit quite the same.
I'm gonna go finally rewatch it now lol

What a great, thoughtful review! TH-cam changed my suggested videos recently and to be honest it has overall been a mixed bag, but your videos are now in my suggestions and I been enjoying them. I enjoyed Lady Bird when I saw it in theaters, but your review shows there's all sorts of wonderful details I missed. I will rewatch it again soon.

Definitely one of my favorites in recent memory, even though I only saw it once. Brooklyn made me die of happiness it was so perfect, too. I’m glad you mentioned SM Henderson’s small part, it was off the charts amazing. (I loved his part in Fences, too.) I’m looking forward to hearing your other thoughts on movies.

You know you're getting old when Hollywood starts making coming-of-age period pieces that take place in the same years you were a teen.

I want to see lady bird so bad but what's drawing me back is that I have a complicated relationship with my mother and she recommended it to me I don't know what that means and I don't think I want to know what it means. Anyway lovely video!!!

Lady Bird is tremendous, I remember instantly falling in love with it when I first saw it on a whim. I love what you said about it being retrospective and having a nostalgic tone, if I remember correctly the DP purposely tried to make it look like Xerox'd yearbook-esque snapshots of these characters. Couldn't agree more

Too bad Greta came to direct Barbie - the most woman-child, pathetic projection of one's childish insanity movie I never thought would be possible or dared to create.
And Ladybird was meh, 6/10 tops.
