    I lost like 800 metal :(((

      you also lost like 2k when u reclaimed the t3 lab
      the storage wasnt build before the t3 finished reclaiming

      Ahaha. Something similar happened around 22:30 when you reclaimed your t3. Not nearly has harmful as the 800 you lost earlier though. I think it would be nice to have a feature in the game that that better let you more easily know if you just blew a bunch of metal. The fact you just went on your way oblivious to the disadvantage you just received is really hard to play around xD

    Quite the carry from the Sheldons covering every lane to the shiva push to the calamity. This is a game to remember.

    I think for games like this, it would be interesting to watchback the replay and show us what your calamity might have hit and how much they got damaged.

    I found out that you can press the reclaim button and then hold alt and hover a building type and then make the circle and it'll reclaim all that type of building in the circle. Sometimes it messes with pathing but can be helpful with nanos.

    I loved the live pov. Your balance of letting off the peddle carried the team to a victory. I also felt you had no choice to put that calamity down. The front failed to hold and your team left lol.

    That was a great carry game. A change that I would make would be t1 Air Factory scout spam. If you send enough of them through with enough build power, they'll scout everything and deplete SAM site batteries. Not only that, but enough numbers t1 fighters and bombers from five or so turret assisted factories can do a lot of work.

    The way I fixed the issue of the radar/jammer bots trailing behind while retreating was to put them on the same auto-group as my artillery. They are still a little bit slower but they are much more responsive this way, and I don't usually have to worry about them getting targeted for being the last dumdums to retreat 😜

      Then you fight move your artillery and the radar/jammer marches forward to victory as glorified meatshield

      @@lolsteamroller LOL that would be precisely why I don't fight-move with artillery. I issue regular move/attack orders instead.😜Perhaps this behavior will be fixed in an upcoming update but until then, this is how I deal with the issue. Take it or leave it - works for me.

    Nice game. I feel like a rascal spam could have helped get you vision and claim more space. Also, I was sweating over the possibility of a bombing run on your eco buildibgs since it didn't seem like there was a big fighter screen, but everything worked out. Your games are a gold mine for optimal eco play

    If you hover your mouse on a unit you can see how many kills it made at the bottem left corner

    I'm starting to believe that hybrid power is probably better on the higher wind maps that favour armada.
    Start double solar or solar 2 wind. Expand into more wind if it's high. Then make a few advanced solars when the wind goes high.
    On a wind map of 12 avg, an advanced solar is worth like 6-7 wind. So you can just decide to make your wind farm smaller. And thankfully advanced solars are a little more tanky to early bombing.
    When you factor in energy storage with wind vs going full advanced solar it's... Similar metal. Though I'm not sure about the timings.

    if you hold space + x while having a single unit/building selected you can see its explosion and seld-D radius. usful for self-d commander and building away from geo's

    how could you see the amount of reclaim? i thought it was neat on the commander, thought it was broken when you went to reclaim the front at 11:46

    So from the perspective of a new player, why does no one really bother putting more and more advanced turrets and jammers around the place? Are they so easy to deal with?

    Drongo you make the best BAR content - probably better than Winter's tbh. I like this live format but you definitely don't play as well lol (I guess replays are down right now).

    Total annihilation was my most played strategy ever i made a lot of mods back in the day lots of new units etc ... was fun still paly it here andthere with all the mods and units available it wven looks better than BAR :) later I palyed all the newer games and I didn´t like it so much as the original TA this looks more like the original TA rather than Forge Alliance etc. Think i will play a game or two again =) .. I had several strategies to fight people and I was really good at it =) I would laos like to see the game fro mthe view of you left and righ ally they managed to push the enemies away and kept the defences strong while you went for the tech. In a game like this if I would be the enemy and know what you were doing I would either focus nukes and build 50 aircraft fields and overload your bases with air power filled with small and cheap bots that would take al lthe gunpower and slowle eat into the bases. You would be surprised how many times I won by using the cheapest units but .. like 10thousands of them till the end of game they laast 1 hit but they also take that 1 or 2 shots from a big gun before it hits them. Ifall 3 neemy palyers would switch to produce mass cheap units maybe they could oveerun your left side and take out all the energy etc.. but yeah we don´t know what was hit by that "big bertha" as i call them since TA =) Not sure if this game as al lthe naval units and the option to go fully underwater but some mods in TA alowed people on maps with water to be fully underwater and have submerging carriers that would pop out next to your base with thousand of loaded bombers :D and all the massive ships with 40 cannons plasma rockets and antinukes .. oh my god I miss all the old TA MODS :)

    You really need to improve your late game micro -- Calamity was used highly inefficiently, repeatedly bombing dead areas and not spreading to all enemy spots. Gave them plenty of time to build their own plus defense. I'd bet you'd be horrified if you watch the replay without fog of war.
    Otherwise, love the eco-optimized late game rushes.

    Alright, after watching a dozen BAR videos, here are my problems with the game, in descending order:
    Everything blows up way too fast. Higher tier buildings are not particularly more sturdy than lower tier ones. Makes the game very swingy.
    Resource gathering is way too exponential, if someone is let to eco, they can pump out shit way too fast compared to someone who focused on fighting. This makes balancing incredibly hard.
    Aircraft are really easily shot down, regardless of how fast, small, or maneuverable they are, making scouting a non-existent form of art, which leads to guesswork.
    Commanders are weak as hell, on the other hand have the d-gun. Stupid design.
