Not too excited by Pedro Pascal it seems like they just went for someone hot but he is a great actor so sure what ever the final product is Weil be worth seeing
If they rebooted Marvel he would have made an amazing Tony Stark, if you remember the Iron-Man animated series or Tony's 90s look had a mustache and looked exactly like Pedro Pascal
Pretty good official poster! Joseph Quinn & Tom Holland are only 2yrs apart in age, can see them having great chemistry together! Ebon Moss-Bachrach will knock it out of the park as Ben Grimm and actually elevate the character! Vanessa Kirby is a great pick for Sue, can do drama & action, and Pedro is a great solid anchor for the group! Last couple of GoT seasons were bad, so you decide not to watch any more GoT affiliated shows from completed book material from entirely different creative teams?! - A bizarre reactionary decision to make!
The entire Fantastic Four cast looks great imo. The retro look to the image and the cover of the magazine (Life 1963) prob point to a period piece (at least in beginning). The new logo is way better. And H.E.R.B.I.E!!!
I agree with Mathew Vaughn in the sense that I don't really care about castings until I see the movie. I don't really know actors that well. If I like someone, I will generally remember their name, but it doesn't matter to me until I see the movie. I've seen Pedro Pascal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in things and I like them. I haven't seen anything with Joseph Quinn and Vanessa Kirby. I was already sold on FF. It's kinda like video game trailers that don't show gameplay. That game doesn't exist until I see gameplay. The same applies to movies.
😂I am just _NOT_ the guy that knows anything about choosing actors for these roles. All I could offer is "Make thing look like picture book!", so I never have much of an opinion about casting news.
I would like it to like all-star superman at 1st. Batman never shows up but they suggests a team-up happened. You could imply they have a history without having to build it up. They did this in the brave & the bold cartoon & it worked out well when they did show up.
Its a reference to the first avengers film (2012) originally andrew garfield was going to be in the final battle of new york saving ppl as spidey they cut him out though, don't know the reason, the deal didn't work out or something
Considering the lack of leadership characters in the MCU, they NEED Reed Richards to be the new Tony Stark figure. They will not make him unlikeable in any way simply because they can't afford to.
Yall sound like fools in comments section lol. I want this to be good but they already miscasted reed richards and based on their slate of projects this will make you run to the fox FF4 movies. Ima see deadpool 3 and jump off the disney dumpster fire. And yes i like pedro pascal but reed richards is not him
Not for nothing but you guys did misquote mathew vaune, then insulted him based on something he didn't say. You guys should really pull up the articles with these quotes so you don't come off as not informed.
Pascal deserves better frankly. He would work better as an X men character like a Mr. Sinister or even a really interesting take on Magneto. John Hamm is the obvious Reed Richards, he can be a prick and he can be charming. Adam Driver is the perfect casting for Doom. The rest of the FF are adjustable.
Looks like we are getting a 60s period piece, which is kinda weird because then we cant have them interact with the current mcu, unless the go the route of saying the cosmic rays make them no longer age, or they are just a stepping stone to Franklin and Val fir current mcu times.
They cast them all so old...it would be better if they had waited till Marvel Reboots after secret wars and we get new x men, daredevil, Spider-man, and avengers.
With the impending MCU reboot via Secret Wars, I feel hiring a Fantastic Four that's not young makes sense for pre-reboot films. Secret Wars is coming and the reboot along with it. The MCU is old and so is its entire cast. The so-called Young Avengers don't even pass for teenagers anymore and all of the A Tier heroes in the reality are starting to look like they are at the age in which all heroes (minus Batman) retire from hero-ing. Disney needs this reboot to be able to tell fresh new stories with actors who are not done with the MCU. The main problem with the MCU currently is that they don't have access to any of the characters which the foundation was made. The MCU needs stand-alone stories with characters but they only have a movie or two left in most of these actors deals which they need to save for big events. Meanwhile a reboot into new, younger actors allows for a string of non-connected movies to recreate that lead up to the Avengers a second time around... and all of us Comic and Superhero movie fans know it will work on us again.
I don't know if im the only one but i do not enjoy the Pedro Pascal casting. I'll withhold my complete judgement until the first movie but sadly if hes bad its going to be too late to recast.
Talk about the timing, it's like I'm living in the future😂
Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Emon Mos Bacharach as The Thing (sorry if I messed up his name) and Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch
@@TheDestroyerX That confirmed?
@@blindpsychopath4368 yeah confirmed on social media and Marvel did that too
@@blindpsychopath4368yeah on Valentine's Day with official, marvel shows to announce the cast of The the first family and THAT'S them
The fact that Vanessa Kirby is playing Sue Storm. Perfection!!

Sal I love you to death but you have to get over Benedict Cumberbatch being Dr. Strange they ain't changing it 😂
Yeah but it's still a valid point

You'll all regret being skeptics of Pedro
I like Pedro Pascel, but I agree with sals sentiments that this casting feels like they don’t trust the material
Well look at that the entire cast was announced

Im not mad at pedro being mister fantastic
Sasha Calle is absolutely the most stunning Supergirl 🤷♂️
Superman vs F4. Next July. The fight for ComicBook Movie poverty starts now
Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man was not apart of the MCU until No Way Home. He did not debut in the mcu. What is he talking about?
Its a reference to the first avengers film (2012) originally andrew garfield was going to be in the final battle of new york saving ppl as spidey
they cut him out though, don't know the reason, the deal didn't work out or something
Now we can blame Loki for all changes in characters' looks, both in the past and in the future.
House of Dragon was amazing!!!!
Im sorta disappointed that Vanessa Kirby wasn't cast as Emma Frost for X-Men. I always thought she'd be perfect for that role.
Robert downy jr was 43 when he played iron man
It’s true now lol. Missed it by a few hours. Happy Valentines Day
Pedro wouldnt be my pick but good actors act good. Ill wait and see how he does. Of course the fear is we get a repeat if his WW84 performance
I fuggin love this poster!
We know the cast of the movie and the time period the movie takes place

Awesome 👏
Nicely done
NO VIEWS?! FUCK YEAH
You guys wanna movie to watch? Madame Webb just came out
For the safety of my sanity this is a joke that movie is garbage
How about Bill Hader as Reed Richards?
There was always going to be a low between the Avengers to the Xmen.. But go with the known lower DC movies
Also seems like the rumors of Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn were true too
Game of thrones is so weird and their fans be like trying to make excuses for the incest like it’s normal behavior
I'll be okay with Pedro if John plays evil Reed.
Pedro pascal gives Robert downey jr vibes
👍

I agree Sal mr f
Pedro is a really good actor, I just don’t see him as Reed
Isn't Ben grim also microchip in the punisher
Is there a compelling reason why one could not or would not make iron heart and iron lad the same character in the mcu?
Because iron lad is a version of kang
Same month as Superman Legacy. Remember when Shazam came out after Endgame

I still think it's not confirmed
Official Marvel Entertainment Twitter Account literally tweeted it out!
They just confirmed the entire family this morning
with how bad marvel is doing , I think less people will watch the movie with a bunch of nobodies. Marvel is too big to go backwards
Pedro pascal doesn't seem like a good fit for reed richards I would love to be wrong but I don't see it with Pedro.

Pedro pascal as Reed Rosie Perez as Sue
Pitbull as John
And machete as Ben
