ND's pass defense is elite. Made Drew Allar look like Conner Weigman. Honestly, Stockton performed quite well considering, and he will be very good. No wonder UGA told Beck he's done. He is on his way to Miami, who happens to play ND 1st game 2025 season.
I’m a ND fan and even I felt bad for Drew Allar. He looked so defeated 😔 And after the camera showed him getting frustrated that he wouldn’t get another chance to be on offense, and then he does that. Poor guy.
Especially on deep passes, it seems like Allar consistently (not just this game) tries to throw balls at the perfect catchable angle and he often under/over throws it. It seems like he just needs to drive a lower trajectory pass to at least get the distance to be more accurate.
I don't understand the PFF grades. How does Kaytron Allen and Jerimyah Love have higher grades when he had a better avg per touch and 3 TDs? Not to mention his pass blocking all game was superb. The one high grade PFF gave him. It's stuff like this that makes me question the credibility of PFF. Hard to trust when you see stuff like this.
Franklin and PSU need to fix the WR issue. It’s destroying the team. They would have killed ND if they had any half decent receivers. Amazing that PSU could run the ball as well as they did.
They wouldn’t destroy notre dame if the Irish had their defensive line. The Irish would have to blitz as often and would have more help for the secondary.
@@anthonysuches153 does he? Watch the tape. PSU’s receivers were all 100% covered in the interception at the end. What can Drew do?? He was trying to make a play when one wasn’t there. It’s on him and the wide receivers yes. Absolutely amazing stat that was the only game in the power 4 this season without a wide receiver catch. Think about that.. all these games, some with terrible teams that even played ND. It must be fixed this season. It’s borderline incompetence already.
@@timothyboyle3040 maybe so but PSU was missing 2 starters on the o-line so whatever. This was the same d-line that was sooo dominant against Georgia. Face it Georgia without their starting QB was a mid team.
Simply is not true. ND secondary is very good. OSU recievers will make plays, but it will be similar to the texas game they won't be a huge factor. ND D line may have an edge on OSU O-line in terms of speed and athleticism. OSU has the advantage on D-line with that said The ND O-line will hold it's own. Believe it or not ND may have RB advantage depending on the health of Jeremiyah Love. The biggest advantage ND has is coaching that's what got them here. That's what could win them this game. Oh yeah Rylie Leonard is a problem his stat lines are mess sometimes, yet he just wins and makes critical plays when needed.
can PFF start grading refs? Put some pressure on them to be better
Best idea I’ve heard in a while!

Can’t wait to cook him with our 1st string finally back in so many important places. Next year is going to be wildddd
Haha nerd on the right was wrong wrong wrong about Notre Dame all season long
BIG 12 refs have been screwing ND in all 3 playoff games. ND has to beat refs and opponent
Just imagine if Benjamin Morrison was playing and they’re defensive line was healthy

NOTRE DAME-5 DEFENSIVE STARTERS OUT-2 O LINEMEN WENT OUT DURING GAME……

saying that Treash is "building culture" and not "sitting behind a computer running numbers" for Notre Dame is WILD 😂
Just a joke considering we’re former coworkers at PFF
@@PFFCFB I know, i was just ribbing in return 😉

Do you feel like you actually do any original content?
Notre Dame is gonna get SMOKED. NONE of the passing offenses on their side of the bracket were really THAT good

Have been an ND fan since 1955. Unfortunately, ND is in for an ass whooping. OSU is loaded.
Lol you must have just casually watched this year, I get it, been some rough years in the past
O ye of little faith
Wow! Less than 48 hours. You couldn't hold your joy? Are you French? With fans like you, what are we supposed to do with all these extra OSU trolls?
Go Irish! ☘️
Notre Dame shuts down OSU WRs and wins Natty
I love the Irish, but this seems unlikely. This is the best receiving core they will face all year; it’s also the best receiving core in the nation.
Can someone get the guy on the right a hairbrush?

Only could run because ND was missing 3 of their best DL, including their biggest and best DT.

Still need a QB that doesn’t suck. Allar sucks. Sorry you can’t see that.

No, I have faith! I also have common sense!
I can’t even get excited about this game. ND doesn’t match up in any position. Brutal.
ND took OSU to the wire last year. Freeman is ready. This ND can do it!
@mattobrien6053shh, let them be surprised. Casual fans just don't know

Don’t watch.
Somebody is upset their favorite SEC team didn’t make it to the playoffs I’d imagine
