So we can now say we have been to both the biggest and the smallest states after being to Rhode Island. It may be the smallest but it's a great place to visit
My home state 🤯 I'm glad you got to check out NY System! Definitely a classic here in Rhode Island with a coffee milk. If you ever come back, clam cakes and chowder are a must in Narragansett. Party pizza from D. Palmieri’s Bakery.
New England is beautiful… living in Rhode Island my whole life I love watching these videos to see it through others eyes! Thanks for the wonderful footage… come again and visit the coastal RI ⚓️❤
So you guys tried Del's lemonade but not coffee milk? Tsk tsk... Fun to see Providence through your eyes. It may be small, but it's unique and got a bit of everything.
Thanks for coming to our little corner of the States! Providence Place Mall is probably the best cost / benefit parking downtown for sure. I live near Roger Williams Park and frequently go there for walks. Waterfire is fantastic, If you come again try to coordinate with posted events online. I'd have loved for you to experience more Rhode Island foods or restaurants, our culinary offerings are top notch. I'll consider trying that Raising Cains in Johnston you hit up. I've been to the Aldi behind there, dont really eat fast food frequently but I've heard good things.
Great visit to RI! I've lived here most of my life, and your walk through the State House reminded me that I need to take a tour! I have never been there. I hope that you enjoyed your tour of our beautiful state 🤗
Im from New England myself (Connecticut) and love our corner of the country .. great video amd new subscriber... next time your here you should also check our Newport ..and also nearby mysic amd Stonington in CT..all the best.😊
As a New England native, it has been so wild, and so fun watching a non-native explore our beautiful region of the US. I can't wait to see my current home state in a video. I think you two are going to love it!
New England states are a treasure! A road trip there is easy and full of great places to see and great food to eat. Spend a night in one state and within a few hours you are now in the next.
Hi Stacey and Kev. So much to see and do. The food... Yum! So glad I'm eating lunch watching this 😂. Granted I'm having chef salad and I want what you're having. Hahaha. You definitely had perfect weather. As always thank you for taking us along on your adventures ❤❤
Thanks so much for watching MaryAnn. I hope you enjoyed the salad. We've been eating quite a lot of salads at home after consuming what we did on this trip!
I love that you got Raising Canes which just got to the area pretty recently 😂 it's more of a southern chain And the key with Dels is to squeeze the cup so it makes kind of a scoop into your mouth haha
Hi KV and STACEY. I’m disappointed that you didn’t go visit Newport Rhode Island. You miss the summer cottages of the Gilded Age in Newport. The Vanderbilt had a summer cottage called the breakers. I would imagine there’s some cottages are similar to the great houses in Britain, maybe similar to the Downton Abbey great House I believe it is Caravan Castle.
Hi, I think the thing is with every trip we do we only have so much time to see certain places, and although people say you should have gone here or there or we have people saying you should have eaten at this place etc. It's impossible to visit everyones suggestions. These states are somewhere we'd love to visit again in the future, so that's when we'll change it up and visit the places we didn't this time 👍 😁
You are suppose to buy the hot dogs Three all the way. Newport and Narragansett are an area in RI you need to check out. Then the very southern part is Westerly and there is a small area where Taylor Swift has a waterfront mansion that is a nice area to see but in the summer months for the last three areas.
So fun seeing Rhode Island through your eyes. Del’s is very Rhode Island, but in all my years I’ve never heard the no straw thing. Otherwise you’ll tip the cup too much and get ice on your nose. Finally, nice job pronouncing Norwich. Though I guess you have one in old England to learn from.
I don't know about "around the Wrekin"; I'd be more worried stuck half way up it! As usual. enjoying your trip and all the info. you include in your vlogs wherever you go. Keep it up!
Hot Weiners….its not *real* unless it’s all the way up a hairy guys arm. 😂 Dels is out of this world. Next time try Awful Awfuls from Newport Creamery ! Also Coffee Milk ❤
I won't add another, "You should have gone to Newport", but I thought I'd mention that what was missing on the top of the State House was a statue of "Independent Man". He's being restored. And thanks, I've lived in RI for 4 years and have not made it to the State House, but plan to soon.
Hi Kevin in STACEY I just had to add this year latest US road trip video because I thought you should know about all the artificial colours and flavours added to American foods. I watch a TH-cam channel this morning called reacting to my roots. Steve channel deals Mosley with things about the UK and Ireland because that’s where his ancestry comes from. Today he was reacting to US foods that are banned in the UK in Europe. Just thought you should know about some of the artificial colours and chemicals that are added to American feud foods and maybe you can avoid them when you were on your road trip. Such as the chemical yellow dye or it’s also called TRTRAZINE. Mostly attitude candies for the yellow colour but as you notice in the video, Lindsey talks about this chemical being added to dishwasher detergent from Walmart and I suppose to make your dish brighter and white. Maybe you also wanna avoid drinking Mountain Dew lots of artificial chemicals and dies in this beverage.
Fun fact about the State House, the stones do look dirty currently because a contractor stripped the top layer off power washing. Please come back again soon, there's so much more Providence and RI has to offer!
May be great to visit but pretty boring to live in, except having the best high school in the US. But I also swear beeing a youtuber from here translates to less traction or something.
I live here and travel alot of other places. Do not live here. Miss mangerment from government of the infrastructure issues. Getting to costly to live here. Too many people & drivers as well as bad drivers. Too much road construction. They fix the roads but they seemed they are never fixed. I don't go to certain areas of providence. It is just not safe.
So we can now say we have been to both the biggest and the smallest states after being to Rhode Island.
It may be the smallest but it's a great place to visit
Fun fact Shepard Fairey who is the founder of Obey, the shirt you're wearing went to RISD and got his start in Providence
The Dels face splash is very important...it takes years to master but now that you have experienced it you are officially a Rhode Islander🎉😂
Haha, we tried anyway 😁
I love that you are wearing an Obey shirt in this video - perfection! Glad you enjoyed RI, nice video!
My home state 🤯 I'm glad you got to check out NY System! Definitely a classic here in Rhode Island with a coffee milk. If you ever come back, clam cakes and chowder are a must in Narragansett. Party pizza from D. Palmieri’s Bakery.
Thanks so much, we'd love to come back and explore more
The guy that made that OBEY shirt you're wearing went to college in Providence, Rhode Island. The first OBEY stickers were made here.
That's so cool
New England is beautiful… living in Rhode Island my whole life I love watching these videos to see it through others eyes!
Thanks for the wonderful footage… come again and visit the coastal RI ⚓️❤
Thanks, we'll definitely be back 😁
Glad you guys enjoyed our lovely corner of the world. I feel like you missed SO much amazing stuff in Providence alone.
We'd love to come back explore more
Come back to RI and try Iggys and go to the mansions in Newport!
We will next time 👍
So you guys tried Del's lemonade but not coffee milk? Tsk tsk...

That building is beautiful
Great visit to RI! I've lived here most of my life, and your walk through the State House reminded me that I need to take a tour! I have never been there. I hope that you enjoyed your tour of our beautiful state 🤗
Thanks so much, we would love to return 😁
Im from New England myself (Connecticut) and love our corner of the country .. great video amd new subscriber... next time your here you should also check our Newport ..and also nearby mysic amd Stonington in CT..all the best.😊
We would love to come back and visit the places we didn't get to this time
Thanks for visiting my adopted state.
Should have gone to Federal Hill the best food ever. Newport RI is beautiful. Best In RI
There's usually a bronze statue on top of the dome called the Independence Man meant to represent RI's independent spirit.
It's great when TH-camrs come to RI. So many people just drive through on their way to Boston or NYC.
As a New England native, it has been so wild, and so fun watching a non-native explore our beautiful region of the US. I can't wait to see my current home state in a video. I think you two are going to love it!
Thanks so much for watching. It really is a beautiful part of the world 😁
BRUHHH YOU WENT TO THE WRONG NEW YORK SYSTEM . THE OG ONE IS NEAR ONEYVILLE NOT ON SMITH
New England states are a treasure! A road trip there is easy and full of great places to see and great food to eat. Spend a night in one state and within a few hours you are now in the next.
That's so true. Thanks for watching
Heyyy, it’s so funny to see people come to visit Providence 😂 I live like ten minutes from downtown 😂
Thank you for visiting my home state! 🥰
Roger Williams Park is named after the founder of our state. 😊

You just made my day saying go around the wrekin. Enjoying your us trip. Im from very close to the wrekin.
Haha, we forget with certain words the rest of the UK won't understand, never mind other countries lol 🤣
I love that you got Raising Canes which just got to the area pretty recently 😂 it's more of a southern chain
And the key with Dels is to squeeze the cup so it makes kind of a scoop into your mouth haha
You drove right by my house on the way to dels!
If you ever come through again, you would like the east side, India/Fox Point, and the footbridge (all on the same side of town).
Hi KV and STACEY.
I’m disappointed that you didn’t go visit Newport Rhode Island. You miss the summer cottages of the Gilded Age in Newport. The Vanderbilt had a summer cottage called the breakers. What a large portion of chicken and chips. The places look lovely
That raising canes looked great for a fast food place. It looked like it was from a diner
It was soooo good
You are suppose to buy the hot dogs Three all the way. Newport and Narragansett are an area in RI you need to check out. *weiners. They will literally throw you out for calling them hot dogs.
Thanks for watching Bill, and yes, we have a Norwich in the UK, too
I don't know about "around the Wrekin"; I'd be more worried stuck half way up it! As usual. enjoying your trip and all the info. you include in your vlogs wherever you go. Keep it up!
Haha, thanks so much for watching
Clamcakes and chowda, doughboys, coffee milk and fluffernutters were missed
Definitely Iggys for the clamcakes and chowder!
Dels easier to drink that way in the summer when it’s hot, to be fair though slow is nice in November because it’s cold and you’ll get a brain freeze.
Hot Weiners….its not *real* unless it’s all the way up a hairy guys arm. 😂 Dels is out of this world. Next time try Awful Awfuls from Newport Creamery ! Also Coffee Milk ❤

Yes the Independent Man seems to be missing.
If it’s five minutes or five miles, it’s too far.

9:06 We call those "gaggers".

I love Nathan’s Hotdogs, which Stacey would like as all beef 😋🌭
I need to try one 😁
You didn’t get a coffee milk at NY System ??? Coffee milk is my fav Rhode Island thing
@15:10 Rhode Island tip, when in doubt water down your Del's with a bit of vodka....
🤣
ah you missed out on federal hill and Newport
Hopefully next time
There's a secret lemonade spot 8x better then Del's.
Sad you didn’t see the minute man on top
Independent Man
try to make joke
I live in rhode island.. this place is special and also stupid.
Not "a bit of pork": try "every pig-part smashed together".
Fun fact about the State House, the stones do look dirty currently because a contractor stripped the top layer off power washing.
Please come back again soon, there's so much more Providence and RI has to offer!

I'm gonna let ya' in on a little secret, Ray. Rhode Island sucks.
No it doesn't. Only people who have been here all their life say that cause they've done everything. There's a reason people travel here from all over
