I registered for my PVC in a rural community in taraba state last week Monday which took me only 20mins, after staying in queue for days in INEC's main branch in jalingo. My advice is that if you're interested in registering for PVC go to a rural community in you're state and register for it.
Make sure you vote in Taraba. If you vote in another location during election, your vote will not count. This criminal politicians have put all these in place to make sure that people who register like you and vote in another city their vote will not count

Why can't INEC just synchronize with NIMC database and provide PVC for anybody having NIN. Just ask people to apply online and select their ward and pooling booth closest to them and am sure duplicated PVC will not be possible if it's one NIN to one PVC. Anyways, INEC has never acted as an independent commission they claim to be

This is exactly what my thoughts have been as well. NIN Database should be tweaked to link PVC requests created on PVC database instead of doing fresh registrations that would not allow a lot to get registered.

Nigerians cannot keep making the same mistakes and expect a different result. A politician should be like a mechanic. Nigeria as a country cannot cease to embarrass it's citizens. Why can voter's registration be an all year round exercise like the drivers licenses or identifications required by law? Is it so difficult to change the way and manner Nigerians register to vote in elections? Why wait for the crunch time to be asking for extensions- a situation that can be avoided if the exercise is all year round. The exercise can be carried out in public institutions such as the University Campuses and vehicle licenses and registration places, as it is done in civilized nations around the world.

INEC should create a website for PVC registration that will allow Nigerians to register for PVC online with BVN and NIN which automatically will give all your details to INEC for PVC which will be sent to emails for print
There is a website to that. I did mine at the comfort of my home. After successful completion of it. There is a section were it will show u to print it out, I just screenshot it. I even went further to their office and show them, they said am not even supposed to be among the crowd because have completed the process that I should go and print out my screenshot copy and keep it safe that by October, I should go to my polling center, some of their officials will be there to give us our cards to vote.
INEC *has* a website for PVC registration. I registered online. It was a simple process. All those people complaining are just useless time-wasters. They had several months to register but they left it until the last minute.

I agree with you. To order a new certificate, certain private information will be required which only the holder of the certificate will know. I sense identity theft here. He knew this ahead, hence the new electoral law has made impossible for anyone to take him to court except you're a fellow presidential candidate.

Forgery legislation Under the terms of the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981 a person is guilty of forgery if he makes ‘a false instrument’ with the intention that he or another shall use it to induce somebody to accept it as genuine. It is also an offence for a person to use such a false instrument with the intention of inducing somebody to accept it as genuine. By the way, for those who will say he did did present one, ‘a false instrument’ includes just claiming that you have the certificate when the University did not issued you one. Thanks

Asking the university about certificates isn't enough. In addition ask for the original graduation pictures of the said individual. The official pictures of my high school graduation are still in the school album.

However a list of graduates, the departments or specific college within the university is available. But Adeola may not be able to obtain since she’s not a government or police person checking for reasons of a crime. Our records in schools, hospitals and employment do not give this information without consent of the person whose record it is. Nothing is done on the phone. I doubt she’s going to get it. If the Nigerian government requests it however, that would be best. Also she’s impersonating as his daughter and that is a crime as well.

Registration for PVC should be a continuous exercise which should be available to a citizen at 18th year birthday. It should not be pegged to a certain days for purposes of pending election in four years.

Actually getting into any University in the United States, you need a GED an equivalent to a High school diploma and that was how I got admitted into the University in the US. I sat for the GED, pass the examination and got admitted.
I don't know how many times I've ordered for my degree from AIU and Tinubu can't get a replacement. Infact Any USA accreditation body can issue these papers sometimes for a small fee. African politicians !

Trouble is INEC is not doing the registration at all in most centers. People go there, stay for hours on end and leave frustrated because no one attends to them. The workers are sabotaging the exercise.

But no schools in US will reveal or release any present or old student information including credentials to third parties except on a court order...factors such as compliance objectives of the school has to be met...Privacy act and principles of confidentiality agreement signed by the student restricted 3rd party to have access. This is apart from what he gets as a percentage of collections from Alpha Beta for tax collected for Lagos State, the various PPP projects run by him and his cronies (including the BT critical care centre in LASUTH and the mortuary) and the total control he has over the governor and the treasury. But see what Peter Obi has been collecting from Anambra State since he left office as governor: 1. No gratuity 2. No pensions 3. No houses 4. No cars 5. No allowances of any kind 6. No maintenances of any kind. 7. No personal assistants paid by the state. 8. No domestic staffs paid by the state. 9. No aids sponsored by the state. 10. Not even pure water. 11. It's really ridiculous that we still have to queue to register for our voters card at this time. They have our details already including the biometrics (fingerprints and passport) that they may need. We should be able to use the NIN to easily register for the card online. It will be stress-free for the entire country!!!!!
They don't have to queue. Thy can do it online. I registered for my PVC online in January and selected a date for biometric capture in April. I went in for my capture and completed the process within 15 minutes. And I live in one of the the busiest LGAs in Lagos.

Nobody can access or place an order for Tinubu school’s transcript or diploma / certificate except Tinubu himself,which is due to the Privacy laws in the USA . In essence, Tinubu needs to do this himself to stop this school certificate controversy for good . Adeola, Get/ registration for PVC by the youth was not the fault of the masses. But the Government of INEC and fulani. Some youth went several times to register but too much que and some times they say there us mo form. This PVC thing can be done online too.
Based on my political experience in Nigeria. All of this is irrelevant. Some people are in court today because of this same certificate issue, and with our kind of judicial system, Tinubu will be cleared to run. (Mark my words.) So, at this kind of momentum, Whether he has a certificate or not, this man will end up becoming Nigeria's president. We are focusing on the wrong issues when it comes to Tinubu's eligibility or qualifications to run for president. There are several concerns to consider, and his certificate is not one of them.

Why can't INEC just synchronize with NIMC database and provide PVC for anybody having NIN. Just ask people to apply online and select their ward and pooling booth closest to them and am sure duplicated PVC will not be possible if it's one NIN to one PVC.

Nigeria as a country cannot cease to embarrass it's citizens. Why can voter's registration be an all year round exercise like the drivers licenses or identifications required by law? Is it so difficult to change the way and manner Nigerians register to vote in elections? Why wait for the crunch time to be asking for extensions- a situation that can be avoided if the exercise is all year round. The exercise can be carried out in public institutions such as the University Campuses and vehicle licenses and registration places, as it is done in civilized nations around the world.

INEC should create a website for PVC registration that will allow Nigerians to register for PVC online with BVN and NIN which automatically will give all your details to INEC for PVC which will be sent to emails for print
There is a website to that. I did mine at the comfort of my home. After successful completion of it. There is a section were it will show u to print it out, I just screenshot it. I even went further to their office and show them, they said am not even supposed to be among the crowd because have completed the process that I should go and print out my screenshot copy and keep it safe that by October, I should go to my polling center, some of their officials will be there to give us our cards to vote.
INEC *has* a website for PVC registration. I registered online. It was a simple process. All those people complaining are just useless time-wasters. They had several months to register but they left it until the last minute.

Registration for PVC should be a continuous exercise which should be available to a citizen at 18th year birthday. It should not be pegged to a certain days for purposes of pending election in four years.

Actually getting into any University in the United States, you need a GED an equivalent to a High school diploma and that was how I got admitted into the University in the US. I sat for the GED, pass the examination and got admitted.

7. Cooks, stewards, gardeners, and domestic staff (all pensionable).
8. 300% of his annual basic salary as governor every 2 years as furniture allowance
9. 100% of annual basic salary as governor as his house maintenance allowance
10. Two DSS officers, and eight policemen to guard him (and 1 policewoman for his wife)
11. 25% of his annual basic salary for personal assistants
12. 30% of his annual basic salary for car maintenance

This is apart from what he gets as a percentage of collections from Alpha Beta for tax collected for Lagos State, the various PPP projects run by him and his cronies (including the BT critical care centre in LASUTH and the mortuary) and the total control he has over the governor and the treasury.
But see what Peter Obi has been collecting from Anambra State since he left office as governor:
1. No gratuity
2. No pensions
3. No houses
4. No cars
5. No allowances of any kind

They don't have to queue. Thy can do it online. I registered for my PVC online in January and selected a date for biometric capture in April. I went in for my capture and completed the process within 15 minutes. And I live in one of the the busiest LGAs in Lagos.

Firstly, when you do it online, they allocate a time for you to do the biometrics... that's why I didn't have to queue when I did mine. Secondly, the reason why there is a crowd is because these people are rushing at the last minute. How is that INEC's fault????
You should stop making excuses for these people. They had several months to register. INEC has been begging them to do so for months but they decided to leave it until the last minute. I did mine online in January, selected a date and time in April for the capture and didn't have to queue. It was a very smooth process.

For now the way Nigeria 🇳🇬 is constructed, PVC should be a continuous improvement and continuous process. Not every 3years event.
Especially for those in high school, if you are 18 and you register for WACE should be automatically enrolled for PVC.
Adeola the process of getting pvc in Nigeria is very strenuous. They made it difficult to get.
Nobody can access or place an order for Tinubu school’s transcript or diploma / certificate except Tinubu himself,which is due to the Privacy laws in the USA . In essence, Tinubu needs to do this himself to stop this school certificate controversy for good . I believed he attended Chicago State University under an assumed name and not with the name Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
You may get answers such as "So and So appears/does not appear as an alumni of this university".

Adeola, Get/ registration for PVC by the youth was not the fault of the masses. But the Government of INEC and fulani.
Some youth went several times to register but too much que and some times they say there us mo form.
This PVC thing can be done online too.

Some people are in court today because of this same certificate issue, and with our kind of judicial system, Tinubu will be cleared to run. (Mark my words.)
