Hey there I love seeing your builds, do you think you could make one for fist weapons, so far I'm trying to make one using monk for the break ability it gives, I use the commands, magic arts cause fists. Are so fast it refils fast but I'm sure you could figure out how to make it faster, then I use blood weapon as well, so both magic and life are going up quick just as they go down. But I not very good at making builds so this is the bare bones. For the third command I sometimes use swayback but maybe I should make that a buff instead? I don't really use magic regen cause of that sacrifice I'd have to make and sometimes I'm not able to get that back. I'm trying to make the best build centered around the fist weapons cause in this game I want to be fast and pack a punch while keeping my life and magic up. So I figured the monk would work with its abilities that boost duration of buffs it gets while taking less break damage and increasing the amount of break it gives. Can you help me out? Would liberator, or dark knight be better, or simply main pugilist? Can ya help me out?
After completing a good end game build in my main save file, I started a new save on hard, with companions turned off for a complete solo experience. The style I went for was knight centric and plays very close to what you show here - - especially funny is that I arrived at this style, and an hour later found your guide posted only hours prior! This goes to show that the defensive knight style is very versatile and requires little in terms of gear and is more of a playstyle, as it works perfectly fine during the story, and also leaves the second job slot very open - I like void knight to be able to take more advantage of magic attacks where the knights Shockwave don't do much! Thank you for the build! It was very inspiring! :-)
Thanks for making the guide that still have some more space for freedom (like the affinity for the support job). It makes your build still have some space for personal interpretation.
Having Knight 120% + Liberator 120% Affinities on the Knight job to abuse its Parry Regen effect was my favorite late-game build to fall back on whenever I hit a wall on my first playthrough. I'm really glad to see that it can get even better on Chaos Mode. As for Command Abilities, I liked running Counter and Flee with it to help preserve Break gauge. Counter is also helpful when I have to catch multiple magic attacks in quick succession with Soul Shield while Flee is good to have when evading unblockables.
Great stuff. I'm all for multiple play styles, I just feel like the current game state that classes like DK or RM that can vomit damage just outshine everything right now. Actually, I think most of what I'm seeing in multiplayer are your builds.
I just made my own knight build today but couldn't figure out how to sustain my mp. Shield thrust is overpowered. My build had something you might like though. I used gear for 400% dark knight and 250% berserker for my second job and when I double tap the job switch button I have an instant protect and shell that would carry over for my knight.
I’m going for 400% liberator, so I can off heal if my party gets smacked with an AOE. Yours sounds like a much better tank build though. With the new Evoker class though, being able to restore your party’s mp by soulshielding sounds like an awesome way to be a supportive tank.
I'm thinking of trying this for lvl 500 enemies and rif. But I will add Sentinel or Runic Guard so that, in case I get hit, I will have something that will save/protect me.
I only have one question man, hopefully you see this because I think a lot of people are wondering the same thing: Where/how are you farming the gear for these builds? I've been running Ebon Memories: The Warrior lvl 300 for gear, it seems to reward a crap load of gear, but not enough variety. I know each mission rewards different gear, but how are you figuring out which mission to farm for each build you choose to focus on? And do you run every mission at max level (280+)? You seem to figure out what to farm for multiple builds faster than I can even figure out one simple build. I have 4500 items in my bags and I still don't have enough items with good affinities to run some of these builds. I only had enough for the dark knight+berserker fist build which has carried me through all content with no problem. But I'm stuck here now, trying to figure out how to farm for other builds.
The answer might be a lot worse than you were hoping for - since It's none of that. I just play random missions and have fun - and I make these builds out of all the items that just randomly dropped and I got. In fact that is why none of my builds actually talk about item min-maxing and are not fully ready - since I refuse to grind in a random system like this. That's it - the end-game gear grind is pure RNG.
@@HDHaZmY That's actually good to hear, that motivates me to just play the game. A little surprising to say the least lol, but at least it keeps things interesting and doesn't make the game a min max grind fest. Thank you for that!
The knight is so busted i literally just killed a boss just by spamming blessing and blocking his attacks and gaining mp through it switching to white mage to protect and shell the party it was just so good because the only attacks that go through is red attacks.
Having a build before you beat the story is hard. I had no idea when I beat astos it was going to lock me into the next like 5 missions so I could farm. Guess you are supposed to mix set with the highest gear. Little different than nioh 2 where every difficulty you were able to get access to new sets and by the time you get to the boss you have your sets you want then you can just keep using over gear to keep upgrading the level on current equipment
MP Regeneration on Parry is Meiko from Samurai. Parry is your L1 Guard Button, you have to parry in the final moment before they attack you - Self Healing will active as long as your are Knight and have the passive from the Mastery Board.
Nice, I had no idea the game played like this. I wish Square Enix wasn't so greedy and would release it on the Steam Store with achievements rather than solely on the Epic Store.
Builds on this game are pointless you have to complete the game before you can even make a build what’s the point even at level 300 my optimised equipment is still stronger than an actual build such a shame you can’t pick affinity’s because I would of played more but I’m not into hours of mindless grinding for rng rewards

Great content man, really enjoying these videos on a very underrated game.
Thank you! I needed this! Keep producing great content my friend 🔥

Came because of the Cecil thumbnail, stayed for the build. :^)
Also, your gameplay clips flow so nicely together. I really appreciate the time you spend putting these together.
Thank you so much
Love your builds, I am trying to get into end game now, cheers!
Loving the builds and breakdowns. Keep them coming!
Thank you for this! Awesome build for people new to Chaos and trying to gear up!
Love the intro! Very smart build. I’m always impressed by your creativity.
Thank you so much Fitz!
This is such a cool build! Gonna do this asap! Thanks man!

Hay HDHaZmy can you do a assassin build guide? Because I always get stuck on doing a knight or assassin.
We'll see, I am not too big of a fan of Assassin myself!
@@HDHaZmY Ok is assassin a bad class or is it just not good for the players?

Oh I forgot to ask after I beat the game again do I need to put the game on hard for better gear or chaos?🤔🤔🤔

Is there a way to get more damege with this build
I haven't played since but not that I know of!
How are you doing so much break damage from blessings of light.
I don't remember the details it should be explained in the video but you just stack break damage!
The knight is so busted i literally just killed a boss just by spamming blessing and blocking his attacks and gaining mp through it switching to white mage to protect and shell the party it was just so good because the only attacks that go through is red attacks.
When you are referring to Parry is it L1 blocking or Soul Shield?
Parry is your timed L1 !
Don't let this scare you away, 120% Liberator makes parrying really easy.
Will try this out for sure! I am still mid game? Is this build viable?
If you can get the affinities it's always good.

Hello I have a question how it’s work parry what button ? Too press and how goes the self healing thanks
And can u tell me what job have the mp regeneration from parry thanks bro

Sorry one more more build videos from duellist assassin and liberator and from all jobs plz 😂🤣
just beat the game does this build still work
Do you think a Tank role makes sense to use whenever you play with others or rather for Solo play?
I love Tanking but I never play alone
Tanking sadly is unreliable , it mostly works solo!
You be coming up with some crazy bills how in the hell you're doing that the boss is taking his just by you blocking what that's crazy
Does this one still work with the dlc update?
Oh yes I'm almost done with the game I was just mopping up side missions
Does shield thrust parry convert to after parry combo?
You can't combo after it no.
Nice, I had no idea the game played like this. I wish Square Enix wasn't so greedy and would release it on the Steam Store with achievements rather than solely on the Epic Store.
You're just blocking and they're taking the heads
