The little guy that flips the slab says "Heeeyyyy, what goes on? Pasta bazoo! Is a writing on the fragging walka-walk! Eh?! Ai ai ai ai ai! Your mother is a fragging aardvark!"
Just watched this with my mother because my friends keep on saying the first lines of the song and felt left out😂😂
Jareth is such a camp character. Bowie was such a drag king (men can be drag kings too, it's just about playing with gender and making characters). Love him so much.
These videos are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the fantastic work!
One of my favorites of all time. Hopefully Netflix US brings it soon.
They listened and it helps too have a realitive in the higher ups at Netflix.Request granted.
My most favorite part of Labyrinth! Brings back so many childhood memories
Toby Froud (the baby in this scene) grew up to be a puppet builder and still works with Jim Henson Creature Shop today. Not super relevant to this scene but it makes me happy. :)
Favorite movie of all time!!! David Bowie made this movie special!!!💜💜💜
Best ever of the 80's movies. Goonies 2nd.
@@justinwallace390 Never Ending Story and Legend (Tom Cruise and Mia Sarah) and Willow! And Lost Boys!! The Goonies is so good!!! The 80s and 90s had the best movies and music!!
And Jim Henson
I think that's why there's no remake. How do you remake David Bowie? He is the Goblin King.
I Used to watch this movie with my cousin every night when we were younger. Good times
I can’t be the only one who thought David Bowie looked so good as the goblin king
Loved this movie growing up n Theres no better Goblin King than David Bowie RIP A legend
Imagine growing up & getting to tell your friends you were in a movie with David Bowie when you were a baby!
One of my favourite wholesome bits of trivia is that the actor playing the baby, Toby Froud, was the son of modelmaker and puppet designer Brian Froud, and Toby grew up to become a modelmaker and puppet designer/puppeteer himself. He worked on movies including Kubo and the Two Strings and the Guillermo del Toro stop-motion Pinocchio movie.
The puppeteers and costume dept were on a level that can never be matched
I remember seeing this in the Theater and it had the same vibes and entertainment as The Wizard of Oz! Such a great movie....David Bowie and Jim Henson were legends!
Both films have been known to elicit crushes on dead celebs. I fell in love with Jack Haley when I watched Oz, and I was determined to hide it, but then my little sister found out, and I felt terrible. I eventually became a fan of Karen Prell, and while I was researching her, I found this film. I was a little bit skeptical, and it was because I didn't want to end up getting a crush on David Bowie. Not even Jareth, because my sister already thinks liking Baron Humbert von Gikkingen is weird.
I'm 14 and I love this movie its my childhood I watched Dutch for the first time in 7 years and love it! I watched it twice that week and I just gotta say the music. David bowey made in this was just a chefs kiss. My he rest in piece now ❤️
I wish for David Bowie to kidnap me so I get to be entertained with this all day
oh my god thank you this is the highest quality of this i’ve seen yet
i love david bowie so much its actually insane. i grew up on his music, and labyrinth. even though it scared me as a kid, its one of my faves now. i remember the day he passed, my whole family cried. he'll forever be missed.
David Bowie is not dead he is ruling his goblin kingdom
2:15 does this little guy say "your mother was a fricking aardvark?"
Brings back a lot of good old memories. ♥
The first movie I ever saw as a child!!! I'm 45 years old now and it still is amazing
Fun Fact: Sarah and Jareth were supposed to kiss but David refused because she was only a teenager.
Good on david
Good on David 100%
I went to the cinema to see this film - Best film ever! You remind me of the baaaaaaaabe!
This movie should be made into a musical.
I remember watching this movie when I was a kid! 26 years later and i still remember every single word to this song😍
