Another good beaver video. I had 7 330s with weak springs. I ordered replace springs and triggers. I had a hard time by hand to get the springs placed. Now there new traps. If you drill out the brad on trigger. Replace with bolt and nut. U can replace the wire. Easy fix when u don't have a new trigger.

I would be happy if there were people like you in Germany. as a forest owner i'm going insane here in germany because beavers are not allowed to be hunted and all trees are allowed to be destroyed without any enemy. we don't have wolves or coyotes here either and there are more beavers every day

You're the man. Thanks so much for the videos. Have you ever run into a situation where the beaver lodge is out in deep water? I am trying to trap something like this. I can make it out to the lodge, but the beaver run/entrance points away from the shore, i.e. faces and goes towards the open water pond. My H-stand is almost too deep to set in the run. I had to weld up an extender piece to push the stand down into the bottom. Have any advice in this situation?

They say you’re not supposed to set by the lodge.
    50 Wow!
Watch the weather and the moon!
The weather breaks with a little warm up in the moon is shining bright! And they’re going to be active.
Make all your sets10 to 15 max
The more experience the less sets but you should get 6 to 8 beavers and one Night if you do it right.
Then pull your traps at the same time.
Then wait and watch for signs that they’re moving around if you want to get all of them once they relax a little
Same process but just with three or four traps.
If you set and catch one at a time it’s gonna take you foreverAnd you still won’t get them all even if you set 50 traps.
That there is a lot of skinning.
You alert the beavers when you catch one or two of them the rest become very hard to catch they’re very easy to catch all in one night you might miss one or two and then just wait and then you can pick them up later good luck youngster have fun enjoy the outdoors
Beavers are good eaten if you parboil them sometimes the diet affects how they taste.
Beavers are good eaten if you parboil them sometimes the diet affects how they taste.
Top notch dog food Feed it to them raw
You’ll have the healthiest dogs around
