I first thought, these licence plates were SERBIAN, because pre-2010's they had a similar layout And SA is also on Serbia's licence plates It stands for (my father's hometown) SENTA (Vojvodina)
That's just a good way to burn your hands... that's completely unnecessary, if anything, you'd remove less oil. Makes no sense having the engine pump the oil into the nooks and crannies of the engine... when the engine's cold, all the oil would be in the sump anyway.
I just got myself a yugo gvl! It likes to throw itself into neutral if it's under any power, but I can hold it in any gear and the gears are good....what's happening? I wanna keep it on the road too!
Pour Liqui Moly Ceratec additive in the engine. And try to regulate that idle, its too high and loud. Have you seen Yugo Florida (in UK known as Yugo Sana)
so i'm stationed in germany right now and found one of these on a local dealer here for about $1800 in a pretty good condition. Do you use this as your daily driver? hows driving it? really thinking of buying one and bringing it back to the US!
How difficult was it changing the timing belt? I have heard that the belt breaking is the number one cause of these getting junked. Interference engine =[
Mine has this option as well. The condenser is larger than the engine's radiator! Other than that it's nothing special. It's similar to a refrigerator in it's electrical components as far as I'm aware. The temperature slider only adjusts when the AC kicks on, at which point it will run until it reaches a certain temperature. The fan is a bunch of resistors and it's completely independednt. The heater system is also completely separate, with it's own two speed blower and separate vents.
Great old school cars. Will keep on going for the next 30-40 years.
You have old yugoslavian plates from Sarajevo (now capital city of Bosnia & Herzegovina)... your yugo is in great condition :D
I’m glad at least one person is making videos on the good ol yugo
Here's a thumb up for Sarajevo license plate :)

Odlican video, divan auto, najlepse registarske tablice! Svaka cast vlasniku.
I jedan od najlepsih gradova nase lepe bivse zemlje.Eh...
As a yugo owner. I'm glad I watched this. I would probably have put regular 5w-30 in the car instead of the truck oil 15w-40 it deserves.
I love how you have the old license plate from Yugoslavia
I had a blue 87 Yugo GV. I really liked it. Plus the oversized Kenwood stereo i put in it. LOL !!!! She rocked.
Good luck with yugo man!
Nice video! My Yugo literally fell apart, starting with the door falling off. 20 years ago.
Oil choise is ok, but oil level is checking on flat ground, when the engine is cold, not like that. Oil pan+oil in filter=4,55 liters.
A good ide is to run the engine to "working temperature". The old oil will come out more easyer. Regards Stig Österberg from Dalsbruk (South Finland).

I mean in Serbia they are like 200$
In Yugoslavia they are cheap now,and there is a lot of them.
@@bobmarley8547 you know Yugoslavia does not exist? Right?

I can see that your Yugo has AC. Can you do a little review about it because an AC in Yugo is super rare.
