Chrysler Pacifica door won't open - Fix/hack
Basically it looks like when the latching mechanism fails on the rear lock, it can leave the door permanently unable to open manually or automatically. To fix this, I basically took it apart enough to understand the wiring and mechanical details of it and then found the two wires that feed the unlatch mechanism motor.
I used a spare 18v battery to reverse the motor and therefore unlatching the rear. from there you should be able to unlatch the front lock of the door and it should slide out.
I did try to reconnect everything but it failed after first operation and permanently locked it again.
in order for the automatic door to not lock up again I left the plug on the left disconnected and essentially made it a manual door while everything else worked.
