Though I'm not a fan of KTM, I would still choose duke 390 over g310r because its value for money and service network is much better and practical than the bmw.
If that's your concern go for dominor 400. Checks all your points better than ktm

I choose a Octavia VRS over a BMW 320d and a Duke 390 over a BMW g310R. Badge isn't a big deal for me.

Great review but you missed out highlighting the sparse service network that BMW has and the cost of ownership of a BMW brand. I bought a KTM Duke 390 in September, 2018 after considering all this and I am very happy with the bike. KTM remains a great package for the price.

Did you hear a rattling sound coming from underneath the tank? I test drove one yesterday and these noises weren't BMW like. But I liked the aggressive engine and exhaust sound and the really great seat and riding quality. I think, as a pure commuter, it could be the best in it's category. Also, the throttle respond is far better as on my CB300.

The way i see it is oneplus 6 (duke)vs iphone xs (bmw)
Even though the iPhone XS is massively overpriced, it's still a better device than OnePlus 6. That is not the case here, the BMW is overpriced but is still not a better bike than the KTM

@@afsallais9825 Dude I'm a OnePlus user myself and believe that buying an overpriced iPhone is quite idiotic. However, the iPhone XS is still better than the OnePlus 6 when it comes to camera and performance. But paying 2.5 times more money for slightly better cameras and performance is not worth it.

I had an iphone back in 2014 when the 6 launched , after getting in to college i started studying from phone and faced problems while sharing ebooks,at that time app to app access was not there so whatsapp cant see files in ibook so i used to take screen shots for sharing with my friends . Then there was this vpn problems in my college. My phone was a joke in front of my friends who were using android . So i bought a second phone oneplus x and then i switched to my secondary phone as daily driver and gave iphone to my father who gave it off to my mother (she never sends any ebooks or any complecated stuff to anyone and is very happy with it even now 😁) after an year i switched to 3t then Finally oneplus 6 . With some snapseed Tweeks on the pictures taked on oneplus i am able to adjust with the camera issues. the customer care is also very responsive and they even pushed an update for me once to fix a bug on my phone . I was one a tour and with no email response from my side (i didnt respond after 2 mails as the solutions they said didnt resolve the issue)they contacted me in between my journey and sent an update that solved the issue . Being a mac and iphone user i had contacted apple care several times but they never cared to call back and take a feed back .

Whatever I’m just super satisfied with my 2018 Dominar which does a top speed of 165 KMh with the 9500RPM lock present
