I actually saw this premise. She wanted a reaction, but he just said "whatever, I quit." The ex and her lover thought they won, but could not troubleshoot the project, so begged for his help. Keiichi was like "why ask me? You made the project, right?"

After so many times she's either the aloof senior or the elder sister type or the delinquent tough girl, it's a change to see her play the energetic younger sister... who's still pretty legal to hit on Keiichi. Also, the animation is a step up from the usual. I probably need to check on the 'gold digger' antagonist names. I mean, I think I see the name 'Ami' a lot used for this type of characters. I think there may be more recurring names for the gold-digging antagonists.

I regularly take well-known songs and rework the lyrics to make fun little parodies; I turned Wicked’s (arguably) most iconic number into a dental-themed song called “Defying Cavities”. 😁 But even when doing that, I always make sure to reference the source material when I put them in my concerts. "Protagonist is competent, but repressed by antagonist, has his lover stolen and is kicked out/ leaves job only to become better than presently/fore seen." Story could have been done much better, hell 80s love comedies have done better. Lemme give an example. "MC is sickly and overweight due to radiation induced treatment (cancer and or other abnormal growth needing radiation therapy). Meddling older sister who is a romance novelist, has an interview with a female reporter/friend who ticks all MC's love boxes joins them for a dinner, but love interest rejected MC due to his sickly demeanor. Comparing him to the hero of big sister's novels. So big sis meddles and turns the mc into the real life version of a romance novel hero in order to get the girl. Working out, hair change, personality, all a glow up. But the MC has a "she doesn't want the real me, but I love her too much to lie to her" moment. Tells love interest the truth, they fight. But in the end she realized that everything she loved about the fictional badass the mc pretended to be was still the mc, and she really loves him." Long story short..... That's a story that already has been done. But no where near the extent of this story here today.
