Shin Godzilla works better as a solo movie, if it had a sequel, it was confirmed by the director that it wouldn't be serious like the first one and would become a silly monster battle movie. Even if it kept the serious tone, the 5th form would no longer feels like a Godzilla movie

Toho’s new installment in the Godzilla franchise has raised questions about the possibility of Shin Godzilla 2 finally getting made. Developed as a response to the success of Legendary’s MonsterVerse movies, Shin Godzilla was a critical and commercial hit for the Japanese studio. However, the award-winning monster movie has never been followed up by a sequel, despite one being clearly set up by the ending.
In spite of Shin Godzilla’s sequel teases and the popularity of the film, it seems highly unlikely that Toho is revisiting the story. Since the first movie was released in 2016, too much time may have passed for Toho to consider a sequel warranted at this juncture. Not only that, but Toho’s own comments on Godzilla’s future indicate it’s headed in a different direction. In 2018, Toho executive Keiji Ota claimed that the studio wanted to develop a shared universe inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe

I have my suspicions of the new movie coming up…the logo for Godzilla: Zero looks like Shin Godzilla but with wings to me, but I also have my doubts. They could be keeping a Shin Godzilla sequel super hush hush for whatever reason or they could be making an entirely different movie.

I would recommend if they made a shin Godzilla 2 for this:
Shin Godzilla is frozen, but they see it cracking. It cracks and shin Godzilla is awake. He goes on and destroys many buildings, then forming into a bigger and more powerful shin Godzilla. It encounters another Godzilla which gets obliterated by shin. Then, it forms once again, becoming a dragon more like the size of Godzilla earth. Then it flys away, coming back and destroying a whole city. Then it flys away, not coming back.

I really think an actual shin Godzilla 2 will come out. This is my theory: at the start of shin 2 shin is getting carried in a heavy cargo plane, hes dropped in Antarctica deep in the ice and snow, then he breaks out the ice somehow and isn’t frozen. He is still form 4 with a stronger tail beam,. He has a mouth on the tail with humanoid creatures out of his tail like we saw in the ending. He comes out the water, he starts swimming to japan and the government and whatever see that he’s swimming, they get alerted. Shin swims and then eventually reaches japan. Shin now destroys the buildings like he used to. The army comes with their tanks thinking shin is weaker cuz he got frozen. They were right. Shin was getting hurt badly and ready to evolve. The army thought they could finish him but the army didn’t realise he was evolving to form 5
