Great video mate. The restaurant opposite is incredible and very reasonably priced. I ate their twice when I was in Chiang Mai as the food was that good. If you get chance try it out.
Thanks that's a useful comment. Really wanted to try that restaurant coz it was so popular. I'll be back in a few weeks because I'm trying out the overnight sleeper so hopefully I'll get the chance! Cheers.
Yes, you're right. Some great local coffee, especially in the coffee shops. The hotel coffee machine was really very good. I lost count of the number of cups I had!. A real plus when staying there. As was the unlimited free water in the fridge! Thanks for the comment!
CM was less interesting for me that Pattaya. There are not so many monstrous looking farang there to mock as they slither along the road. The temples were nice enough, but you have to be careful at what time of year you go. The air pollution is atrocious there during certain periods.
Thanks, David. Certainly a different crowd in Chiang Mai. Saw lots of back packers, young trendies, but they still made me welcome! If you like temples, there's probably hundreds! But, yes, need to avoid the burning season. I don't need lungfuls of PM2.5!
Thanks, BB. One might be forgiven for thinking there's some kind of "taxi mafia" operating in these parts. Thank goodness Grab & Bolt are making inroads, even though some drivers still want to renegotiate the fare! Seems all the rooms have beds for 3 or 4. Either they're very family friendly OR it's party time!
Great video. Nice music.
Cheers, mister!
I enjoyed this vlog thanks for sharing.
Very nice of you to say so, Scott!

I'm pleased you found it useful. Thanks!
They do have some good coffee up there in the north. Looks like a nice hotel. Unlimited coffee, I would never leave the hotel. 55555

Chiang Mai is not crowded on November?
Not really crowded. End of rainy season but not yet high season so not very busy
