  • This week, watch as Matt Liknaitzky takes you for a tour of the cockpit of the Sling TSi. Stay tuned to see what the switches, knobs, and avionics on the panel are for. The panel of the TSi is custom so it may vary but this is one of the more standard layouts chosen. Enjoy!

Thank you for this detailed explanation of all the Avionics, Switches, Controls, etc. and how they relate to each other. Very sophisticated aircraft compared to what I was flying from Y1975_1900. Happy and proud of how well this South African Aircraft is making a name for itself - looking forward to the Sling Tsi High Wing.

why expermental airplanes have garmin g3x instead of g1000?

The G3X touch is newer and easier to operate. It used to be only experimental and LSA planes that had them, but Garmin now has a certified version of the G3X touch and can be used in other planes

Clean layout, easy-to-understand flow. Love that it's IFR capable and can be flow in IMC.

Nice video however there’s far too many redundant switches which add complexity. I have a S-21 set up exactly like this sling and I don’t have or need a switch for each separate component. That’s what the avionics switch is for and pullable Circuit breakers are for.

Yeah, the panel on my TSi has far fewer switches. Simplifies things quite a bit, and the VPX cleans up the panel even more by removing the CB’s.
