I have the same problem with the pressure from the Vevor 12x10 Heat Press. The samples I received from Transfer Superstars worked well on the t-shirt especially with the wash test. That is still the main issue with mine. Pressure. Even called the company & they was no help but showing me a video about the knob going more down. It'll have to do until I upgrade to something a bit more above my budget.
I watched your video after I had already ordered the press from Aliexpress for $140 and your review didn't leave me with a good feeling. The press arrived after a very short delivery time and has already been tested. The press was delivered with suction cups, which prevents the press from tipping over when the swing-away system is used. But beware, the suction cups do not hold equally well on every (smooth) surface. Unfortunately, this does not completely solve the problem. I solve the problem by using two strong clamps to additionally fix the press to the edge of the table. This works perfectly for me. In fact, the contact pressure, as you illustrate in the video, is not even; however, I have not noticed any disadvantages in this respect when transferring the motifs so far. I try to align them accordingly so that they are exposed to the greater pressure. As a beginner in the world of heat presses and a pragmatic thinker, the press is perfect for me. It just takes a little ingenuity to counteract the existing shortcomings.
Thanks for doing the tests yourself. I'm glad the clamps solved your issue. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, glad it still works for what you're trying to do.
@@transfersuperstars My delivery included suction cups, but as already mentioned in a comment above, these do not adhere to all (smooth) surfaces. I solve the problem by attaching two strong clamps to the front feet and the edge of the table.
I recemtly got vevors newer model heat press 8in one it looks much better than the one on in this video BUT exactly the same issue... pressure at the back is great pressure at the front is none existant Do you know of any way to possibly fix this
Unfortunately the adjustable turn knob should be the only solution, if that doesn't work, then the press just doesn't have the ability to clamp down tighter.
As can also be seen in the video, the holder tube bends backwards as soon as the press is actuated. The only result of adjusting the height setting by using the adjustable turn knob is that the lower it is set, the more the holder tube bends backwards. This certainly increases the pressure on the plate, but the irregularity remains. As I have not owned the machine for very long, I have not yet been able to look into this in depth, but I can see two possible solutions for the time being: 1. reinforce/stabilize the holder tube 2. shim the front two screw connections to the lower press plate with washers so that the height can be compensated. Perhaps this will help; or I will let you know again as soon as I have been able to test this myself.
I bought this machine after reading good reviews on amazon. I wish I had seen this video earlier. Came here to find a solution for the transfers that kept peeling off. I figured it was a problem with pressure. I agree with everything you said. It tips back, making it hard to center and align and the timer doesn't work.
Thanks for watching the video, wish you were able to see this video first but check out this video if you need a good budget press. th-cam.com/video/ncgqTmAVN3k/w-d-xo.html
you have to press the Celsius button for the timer to start ticking down, it was no where to be found in the instructions i just got lucky fiddling with it one day and figured it out.
Heat resistant tape is useful if you are pressing some details, necktags or an awkward location where you need to make sure the transfer doesn't move or prematurely lift off.
I just bought a 12x15 Vevor heat press and the pressure wasnt even. I exchanged it and the new one that was sent to me has the exact same issue. I dont like it.
Yes the 15x15" heat press from Vevor is garbage. We had better luck with their 16x20. We have a video coming out today where we test out 7 heat presses from Amazon to find the best one. Tune in later on this afternoon for that video!
So you got a product that was an Amazon return that was also clearly missing parts but continued on with a review of the machine? That seems sketch as all hell.
Hi @calipidgious, I appreciate your feedback! You’re right; receiving a product in such condition is far from ideal. However, the goal was to provide an honest review of the typical experiences consumers might face when ordering budget-friendly heat presses from Amazon. Many people encounter issues with used or incomplete items, and we wanted to show the real challenges and assess the product’s performance despite these setbacks. We always aim to deliver authentic content that helps our viewers make informed decisions. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
I understand that for the sake of getting a video out, you chose to use the one with missing pieces, but the average customer would return or exchange it immediately. It comes with suction cups for the bottom. The way you used it was dangerous and not how this product comes. If the item didn't come with instructions, then Google one so you know that it should have suction cups. You could have also called the company and asked if you have all the pieces to use it properly. It was just a strange choice to go ahead with the review, knowing it was returned and incomplete. ALSO, the top springs shouldn't be off balance.
I wish I watched this before buying this junk, the vevor negative reviews are never posted, I have reviewed this multiple times and I don't see my review. SCAM company.
I’m so glad I found your channel. I was heavily thinking of purchasing this heat press
Glad I could help!
@@transfersuperstars I ended up getting the new powerpress. I also plan to put in an order in the near future for your DTFs!

Great tip!
I got this heat press and cannot figure out how to set the machine. My directions don't really match what I am seeing on the machine.. any tips??
Can you describe what is happening?
you press set and set the temp and time, once set thats the temp it will go to when turned on and pressing the celsius button starts the timer.
@@oDeoxys_ ok, i will try that- I don't have a mode button which is what it keeps telling me to do! I'll try what you suggested!

If you would put the suction cup feet on it, it will keep it in place

I agree....and why purchase a used press? Amazon guve you the option to purchase used or new. I'd purchase a new press, especially for a review video.

High temperature equipment, do not use extension cord. Extension cord is not provide correct power. What’s wrong with you?
This is a budget press, nothing fancy about it. Its way under the limit of the circuit. No issues here.
