Okay, I'm sorry but Bill Hader deserves way, way more than some mention. In my opinion (and of course, it is only an humble opinion) , he should've been somewhere in the top five, at least. He was very versatile and most of his impersonations were just brilliant, among the rest of his qualities. I love Kristen Wiig, and she also brought a lot to SNL, but if she made the list then Bill Hader and also Fred Armisen should've made it :)
Farley should be number one his performances made you laugh no matter what. He was so good at everything he did and unfortunately he was also taken from us too soon.
I came here to say the exact same thing. Adam Sandler is an honorable mention, and Chris Farley/Tina Fey aren't mentioned at all. The list has no credibility.
Belushi should be higher on the list, and Hader should be top five. Kenan is definitely a legend at this point as well. Not to mention, Fey or Cicley Strong
Chris Farley and Will Ferrell were hands down just funny. But Phil Hartman was the best at playing anybody at anytime and owning it. People that did not watch the show then, really don't understand how great Hartman was.
Yeah, I do agree that he ws underrated and they should've used him more!! I saw and loved every skit he ever did!! He'd be in my Top 3!! On the last SNL show he did, Chris Farley wasn't the only one crying; I cried like a baby. I also loved his characters on "The Simpsons" very much!!
Yep, I would have liked to see Phil Hartman closer to the #1 spot, but I think they had it right with Will Ferrell there. It's so tragic how Phil's life was cut short, RIP.
@@DHudelson Hard to say, the original cast or that crew definitely were the strongest. They didn't use as many additional players then, everyone had to have the range to cover it all. The third great cast was the short run with Billy Crystal, Harry Shearer, Martin Short, Christopher Guest...

A list for each decade is a great idea. There still has to be an "All-Time" list, though. C'mon you know theirs would be "off" to say the least. At least it was fun to watch.
I'll say it till the end of my days Norm MacDonald was my absolutely favorite member of the show. He was practically the only reason I watched the show for years.
I was too young when he was on but Norm is of course a legend and I know he killed it on Weekend Update. Got fired for making fun of OJ too much right ?
Martin Short, Jane Curtain, Chevy Chase, Norm McDonald, John Lovitz????? what the hell?? I realize some weren't on the show long but that doesn't mean they weren't the best.
Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner set the bar high. All were hilarious. The second group of cast members didn't have the chemistry the first group had and the show suffered. Although, Eddie Murphy was hilarious.
And Jan Hooks...I am an old timer and can't really comment on the last 10 years because I don't watch it anymore, but Belushi and Radner are way over rated. Boomers only love 'em because they remember the show of their youth fondly. If you actually go back and watch Belushi and Radner they were usually pretty lame. I would put Oteri and Murray ahead of them.
Charon58 agree on Belushi, probably his death is part of the reason why he's considered a comedy genius, but Gilda was very talented. The way she used to manage the comic timing or the way she used to sneak out of cracking moments where almost unique. I understand what you mean though. And also: so you don't even know who Bobby Moynihan is?
This list is somewhat backward. No offense to Farrel--a very funny person, but groundbreaking or original I don't think he is. Belushi, on the other hand, was. Radner, too, and not to mention Murphy. It appears millennials voted here.
Millennials??? They haven't heard of any of these guys (or ladies). I'd guess late Gen X'ers are to blame. And To be honest Sandler has to close to the top of that list. That fucker made bank off this show. I mean, there is no other reason to put him in a movie.
Anyone attempting to create a list of this nature risks harsh criticism. Without stating the explicit criteria for selection, we are left with biased opinions. This list reflects the sentiments of its creator, nothing more. Taken this way there is little to criticize. I disagree with every selection.
I'm sad that Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, and Maya Rudolph didn't even get an honorable mention. Those women were incredible! How could Kristen Wiig surpass them?
i agree with you. there were only 2 women on the list! i guess kristen wiig was more "well rounded" she did do a lot of impressions and crazy characters. but i loved all those women on snl
Tina and Amy were more famous for what they did outside of SNL. And Lorne Michaels has said that Kristen is one of the top 3 performers the show has ever had. But they are all so funny!
10.) John Belushi 9.) Gilda Radner 8.) Dana Carvey 7.) Dan Aykroyd 6.) Phil Hartman 5.) Kristen Wiig 4.) Mike Meyers 3.) Eddie Murphy 2.) Chris Farley 1.) Will Ferrell H.M 1.) Adam Sandler 2.) Jason Sudeikis 3.) Darrell Hammond 4.) Bill Murray 5.) Bill Hader
+Michael Montagna I agree with jimmy fallo, sandler got an honorable mention, chevy chase was only there for a less than a year from 1975-76, and the others might be top 20 but not top 10
Tina Fey and Amy Poeler did Weekend Update better than anyone, and Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph were stupendous. Kristen Wiig was the best, most versitile performer, ever.
+firefighter672 In a way you're right , I think Kate is the only one who can really stand out from everyone else in the last 4 years, she, Bobby Moynihan and Bill Hader
junkpot17, truthfully Belushi wasn't actually funny enough to be in the top 10. If he wouldn't have died so young people wouldn't mythologize him so much. He was a great Actor (especially in the blues brothers, & Animal House ), but in the 40+years of SNL he's somewhere around the top 15, or 20. Not top 10. He's not funnier than Bill Hader, Dana carvey, kenan Thompson, will Ferrel, mike Myers, David spade, Phil Hartman, Norm McDonald, Kate McKinnon, Tina Fay, Kristen Wig, Gilda Radner, Jan Hooks, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Jason sudeikis, & at least 2 other cast members
Teyeson Bee Steve Martin is marginally funny, at best. Chevy Chase was good in the vacation movies, that's it. Martin Short is so pointedly unfunny, lame and obnoxious that he should hope we never run into each other while I'm holding a sharp object.
Anyone else surprised Tina Fey, Adam Sandburg, Tracy Morgan, Jimmy Fallon or Steve Martin didn't even get a mention? Also Just Alec Baldwin's host appearances were better than lots of peoples entire careers
I watched every single show since I was about 10-yrs.-old, in 1973 & LUV'VED it ALL!:D [NONE of the newer actors, & comedienne's/comedians have EVER compared either than the original 1 too!

10. Phil Hartman 9. Norm MacDonald 8. Will Farrell 7. Dan Akroyd 6. Chevy Chase 5. Dana Carvey 4. Bill Murray 3. Chris Farley 2. Eddie Murphy 1. BELUSHI
Comedy is topical. It's hard for something to stay funny for a long time, because you have to "get" it. Comedy spoofs serious things. If you don't understand why something was considered serious at the time, it's hard to see how funny it is now. I'm almost as old as the original cast. My vote would go to Dan Ackroyd. He was the only one of the original cast who was also a major writer. He gave us the Coneheads, the Killer Bees, the Louds, the Wideasses, the Wild and Crazy Guys, and several other repeating skits. But he also did terrific imitations. His send up of Jimmy Carter giving advice to someone having a bad trip on acid was hysterical at the time. He was also the only person who "got" Richard Nixon, and imitated him well, concentrating on his OCD tendencies, rather than just mocking him. This list is pretty good. I would not have Will Ferrell at the top, but I would have had him in the top ten….his "Kids, Get off the shed!" is one of the best things I saw on the show. I'm surprised that Tina Fey is not there. And it's tough to keep Bill Murray out, but the other choices are all good. I haven't seen much of Kristin, and what i see here is not that impressive. Eddie Murray was out of this world funny when he came along, and he was only 20 years old! You started giggling as soon as you saw his smiling face…..
None of the newer or current people are on it. Mostly originals and shortly thereafter. I think Kristen Wiig was the closest to current and that was still several years ago.
It was definitely made by a young(er) person. Any Top 10 list will be controversial, but how do you rank SNL players and end up with Belushi, Radner and Aykroyd at or near the bottom? Kristen Whig way above the great Gilda Radner or Ferrell, Farley, Myers and Hartman all higher than Dan Aykroyd? Farley was very funny but he would be dumbfounded and embarrassed to be #2 on a list that ranked his idol and comedy role model, John Belushi, #10. It’s near certainty no baby boomers were on this panel of judges. P.S. WIERD: I’VE BEEN GETTING A COUPLE ‘LIKES’ A WEEK ON THIS COMMENT, BUT AFTER A MONTH, IT’S ONLY SHOWING +2. THERE’S NO DARK ‘CONSPIRACY’ INVOLVED. TH-cam’S JUST AN ERRATIC, UNSTABLE PLATFORM (DESPITE ALL THE $$$’s THEY BRING IN FOR GOOGLE.)
Gilda Radner, john Belushi, Jane curtain should of been top 3!!! They were the best and funniest and paved the way for the others!!! Oh and Dan Akroyd should be up there also!!!
OMG, I totally agree! John Belushi should have been one or two, as well as Gilda Radnor. I also find it insulting that they didn't mention Jon Lovitz. He could have at least been a nominee. 🙄 The only one amongst the top five that I thought made sense was Eddie Murphy.
@@avianearth2397 although will ferrel wouldn't be #10, he'd probably still be high around #6 or #5. Also if this was made after 2014, kate Mckinnon would be here, and bill hader should've been here. This list is super weird and outdated too.
My 2 cents: Best Guest Host: Steve Martin: 15 SNL guest host appearances, 1976=2009 Best SNL Cast Members: 15-Hader 14-Fey 13-Sandler 12-Curtain 11-Farley 10-Carvey 9-Radner 8-Hartman 7-Myers 6-Chase* 5-Ferrell 4-Akroid 3-Murphy 2- Murray 1- Belushi * Chevy Chase was an SNL cast member for only 1.5 seasons (1975-6), but as the NY Times put it: "Strange as it sounds, Chase might be the most underrated SNL player. It took him only one season to define the franchise ... without that deadpan arrogance, the whole SNL style of humor would fall flat."

Darrell Hammond, Kate McKinnon, Molly Shannon, Tina Fey or Amy Poehler? I love this list, but it's almost impossible to limit the best cast members to just 10.
I agree with all the comments following. Nobody compares to the original cast. These are the people everyone else has to live up to. Radner set the bar and I have not been impressed since. All the others have been good in their on right. But, Will Ferrell? Put him at 11.
Well, I agree Belushi shouldn't be number 10 but I do think Will Ferrell deserves to be on the list, maybe not number 1 but definitely one of the top 10. That's just my opinion though.
John Belushi was a fat drug addicted sloppy tub of shit, who's humor was based of doofy material where he makes either an ass or a fat pig of himself.. If I were a 12 yr old boy, I'd think he was funny... Annnnnd then he died.. and so did the time of the retarded comedies like Animal House, that are all what I call "Stupid humor", and include nothing witty at all.. appealing to the lowest intellect.. Like watching a show about someone shitting their pants.. If you're 10 yrs old, it's funny
His death at 33 has nothing to do with it. He was already several years removed from SNL. Chris Farley, on the other hand, obviously was given that benefit. #2? Please. He was funny and a sweet guy, but one-dimensional.
Gilda at No. 9? No. 9? No. 9? NOOO! She will always be No. 1 on my list. She killed it in every sketch weather she was the main focus or not. She set the standard for all the female cast members that came after her. RIP Gilda!

John Lovitz. OMG. What a howl.
John Lovitz? Good: Yes! Top Ten... NO, I don't think so...
Yes, Martin Short's Ed Grimly was an amazing character. I used to imitate all the time. Loved that one!
Loved Lovitz!! There should at least been an honorable mention!! "Yeah, that's the ticket"!!
You've got to be freakin kidding me, John Belushi is #10, what in the world have you people been snorting??
Straight Peruvian!
its bullshit that belushi and radner are 9 and 10. they should be in the top 3
belushi was good, no doubt about it. Although, Farley, who has a similar comedic style, was better and more memorable.
farley should still be 1 no doubt. id say 1.farley 2.belushi then 3.radner. Farrel would be 4.
+Nate Allfrey Those were my very first thoughts, indeed. Farley? Hartman? Seriously?
+Nate Allfrey No 1 and 2
i am glad we can all agree they needed to be higher. awesome itchy the killer pic by the way fried.
Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner set the bar high. All were hilarious. The second group of cast members didn't have the chemistry the first group had and the show suffered. Although, Eddie Murphy was hilarious.
Eddie Murphy was the most talented one of the second class if he was older he would of made the first class of SNL.
No one today would make the top 20.
Chris Farley is the greatest SNL cast member of all time HANDS DOWN
How is Cheri Oteri not even an honourable mention???!!!!! Come on people!!!!!
For real though -_-
but first at all: where the hell ia Cheri Oteri now?
Suzannah I always thought she was hot.
Farrell #1....please,your joking.....Belushi #10 ,another joke...who the hell made this list up ?
I don't know. Belushi should be no. 1
I think they do that to stir controversy so you'll look at their next list.
ESPN
I don't find Farrell funny at all. It's like he's trying too hard.
Someone that has never seen the show.
Gilda. She was not only hilarious, she made the people she acted with look good. She was the Spencer Tracy of SNL. Rest in Peace Gilda.
Eddie Murphy was the funniest I ever saw. Belushi should be ranked higher than #10, too.
no way Farrell should have been no.1...just my opinion.
You're right!
Why is Will Forte never in a top 10. Way funnier that Will Ferrell! Most underrated cast member ever and Bill Hader as an honorable mention. Wtf!!
This list is somewhat backward. No offense to Farrel--a very funny person, but groundbreaking or original I don't think he is. Belushi, on the other hand, was. Radner, too, and not to mention Murphy. It appears millennials voted here.
I don't even think he is funny. Potty humor is what Ferrell trades in. Silly potty humor.
Yeah, must be the millennials. Blame the millennials. Always the millennials. Millennials, millennials, millennials.
I loved and always will love the original cast! Gilda Radner will always be number one to me❣️
I'm sad that Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, and Maya Rudolph didn't even get an honorable mention. Those women were incredible! How could Kristen Wiig surpass them?
They are all unfunny.
SavertonJr What?!? D:
i agree with you. there were only 2 women on the list! i guess kristen wiig was more "well rounded" she did do a lot of impressions and crazy characters. but i loved all those women on snl
Tina and Amy were more famous for what they did outside of SNL. And Lorne Michaels has said that Kristen is one of the top 3 performers the show has ever had. But they are all so funny!
I agree and in my opinion Kristen Wiig just isn't funny and is sometimes very annoying.
how the hell was Bill Hader not on the list
IKR SERIOUSLY
arguably the best impressionist who's ever been on SNL, the other being Phil Hartman
You guys are likely just too young....
@B M-Y he'll nahhhh
I think for this list they should have done a top 10 male SNL cast members and top 10 female SNL cast members.
10.) John Belushi
9.) Gilda Radner
8.) Dana Carvey
7.) Dan Aykroyd
6.) Phil Hartman
5.) Kristen Wiig
4.) Mike Meyers
3.) Eddie Murphy
2.) Chris Farley
1.) Will Ferrell
H.M
1.) Adam Sandler
2.) Jason Sudeikis
3.) Darrell Hammond
4.) Bill Murray
5.) Bill Hader
Where the hell is Steve Martin, Bill Murray just an honorable mention?? This is all whack man!! Whack!!
Steve Martin was never a cast member, although he has hosted the show many many times.
Steve Martin was only ever a guest. not part of any cast line up ever
Martin was never an actual actor on the show, just a guest spot. Bill Murray is their biggest oversight
@@ehillyard9557As well as Eddie Murphy, and Akroyd, and Belushi.
steve Martin was a host, never a cast member
No way. Will Ferrell? Seriously? And you skipped Bill Murray?
GoodRiddanceGooglePlus uhh airport lounge singer! C’mon!!
Agree. Will Ferrell? No way. John Belushi should have been near the top
Gilda should be in the Top 5; she was awesome!
Gilda would've been my pick for number one.
at least top 3
For sure top 3 anyway
Amen!!!!!
Number one Talent
That was my first thought while watching.
I recently watched the first two seasons.
Gilda was an absolutely amazing talent.
Norm Macdonald was my favorite... a legend.
Srdjan Vitorovic a legend? Get out more dude.
Adam sander?
Amy Poler?
Tina Fey?
Seth Myers?
Will Forte?
Or at least Jimmy Fallon
And no mention of Chevy Chase
+Michael Montagna I agree with jimmy fallo, sandler got an honorable mention, chevy chase was only there for a less than a year from 1975-76, and the others might be top 20 but not top 10
What about Billy Crystal?
Because none of them deserve to be on the list.
Chase was on the show for one season.
Tina fey maybe, not sure about Fallon.
Tina Fey and Amy Poeler did Weekend Update better than anyone, and Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph were stupendous. Kristen Wiig was the best, most versitile performer, ever.
Where is Kate McKinnon? She is the best of the last 4 years
thats like picking the best of the worst.
+firefighter672 In a way you're right , I think Kate is the only one who can really stand out from everyone else in the last 4 years, she, Bobby Moynihan and Bill Hader
ikr
You're right, I did not see the upload date of this video
Franco96 GTA thats not saying much lol
Given the runtime of this show and the sheer number of comedy icons it produced over those decades, this list was destined to fail no matter what!
I SEVERELY disagree with this bullcrap list... But I guess that's bc everyone's opinion is different
+Marie Z second that
+Marie Z It's pretty subjective.
Post your list then
From 10 to 1.
Sandler
Poehler
Aykroyd
Wiig
Murray
Ferrell
Myers
Belushi
Carvey
Murphy
YOU WATCHED IT THOUGH ;-)))))))
Belushi number 10???? I didn't even watch the rest. You people are seriously misinformed.
NO- they are just not old enough to have seen the show when it first started!
Radner #9?!
..ans NO Jane Curtain? Eddie Murphy not #1 he saved a quickly sinking ship.
junkpot17, truthfully Belushi wasn't actually funny enough to be in the top 10.
H Mack Belushi "mythologized"? Really? He was a comic genius BEFORE he died so what the fuck are you talking about?
What? No Steve Martin? Martin Short? Chevy Chase?
steve martin was never a cast member
Teyeson Bee Or Kevin Nealon
SabuPtolemy On Saturday night.
SabuPtolemy
Don't you remember the "TWO WILD AND CRAZY GUYS!!"?
Teyeson Bee Steve Martin is marginally funny, at best. Chevy Chase was good in the vacation movies, that's it. Martin Short is so pointedly unfunny, lame and obnoxious that he should hope we never run into each other while I'm holding a sharp object.
Phil Hartman, wow I miss him...and SNL in the 70s❤️just the whole thing
Phil was the best of them all, period. And Phil reigned during the very best years of SNL.
Anyone else surprised Tina Fey, Adam Sandburg, Tracy Morgan, Jimmy Fallon or Steve Martin didn't even get a mention? Also Just Alec Baldwin's host appearances were better than lots of peoples entire careers
That is kinda why I liked him :S Will Farrell making him lose his shit was great
we have a 30 Rock fan right here - shmaveyea
Steve Martin wasn't a cast member. Andy SAMBERG was in very few sketches and Digital Shorts don't fit the criteria of this list.
You are absolutely correct (also Keenan Thompson!)
I agree! Jimmy Fallon and Andy Samberg not even getting honorable mentions pissed me off!
I watched every single show since I was about 10-yrs.-old, in 1973 & LUV'VED it ALL!:D [NONE of the newer actors, & comedienne's/comedians have EVER compared either than the original 1 too!
I would imitate Emily Litella, RoseAnna-Danna, & Steve Martin's characters too, + Jane Curtain's Primet, Lisa Loopner, & 1 of those Wild, & Crazy Guys!, and Later I did COPY-GUY, & still enjoyed Church-LaDY, & Mike Meyers, + I AM Gomby, dammit!, Butt-Wheat, & LandShark from WAY..Back-When!:D Lovin' them memories!!:D
! "HYPER-hypo."
you are amazing..watching snl in 1973....2 years before it was on
1975.
No! No! Not Dammit Dam-Bit!
I loved the show all the way back to 1958! Oh wait... I wasn't born until 1962!
Belushi is #10, take away 9...Hammond isn't in the Top 10??...and Jane & Tina don't even get an honorable mention?!?
So happy Phil Hartman was included on this list. He is a legend.
dont agree that bill murray was a honorable mention.
Yeah, and Wiig at number 5?? She's gonna be my biggest "WTH" entry!!
Agree, Bill Murray should be in list.
I love how Chris Farley could make his fellow comics break down laughing during a skit... :D
Its sad to see the greats at the bottom of the list.
That is for sure!!!
10. Phil Hartman
9. Norm MacDonald
8. Will Farrell
7. Dan Akroyd
6. Chevy Chase
5. Dana Carvey
4. Bill Murray
3. Chris Farley
2. Eddie Murphy
1. BELUSHI
Phil Hartman should've been much higher on the list
Yah my wife Morgan Fairchild that’s the ticket..Tommy Falaygan
Kind of surprised that Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, or Jimmy Fallon didn't make it on the Honorable mentions area. But eh. To each their own.
Only Amy Poehler was a good PERFORMER from the three you mentioned. Fallon was annoying with him laughing through damn sketch
topgun989cc I think that's why I liked Fallon. Eh. I think I'm also thinking of outside of snl, which is against the rules. Lol
Darwin Nguyen The problem is that Samberg was never there to participate in live sketches. He recorded them all from Don Pardo's ranch.
Or Maya Rudolph or Andy Samberg or Bill Murray or Chris Rock even Chevy Chase.
Bill murry was an honorable mention
Thank you for not putting Jimmy Fallon on this list
He sucks downright.
Well, it's not the Worst List.
Fallon's biggest accomplishment was almost single-handedly increasing female viewership by 70% in his 6 year run.
This list was made by a MILLENIAL!
None of the newer or current people are on it. Mostly originals and shortly thereafter. I think Kristen Wiig was the closest to current and that was still several years ago.
Jeanne 54 yeah u got that right. I quit watching when Eddie left. Can't stand Will or Chris. Both #1 was Belushi and Dan A.
@@jenniferkeyfrahm Jason Sedakus was like 2006-2021... Ferrell & Farley were 90s, lol started in 1975. ;)
*2011 I mean*
Bill Hader only in "honorable mentions"? No mention of Fred Armisen?
Ridiculous
morrisal Bill Hader just an honourable mention??
Fred Armisen sucks dude
Fred Armisen is hilarious.
I'm gonna add Jan Hooks. She's under appreciated but was so funny and versatile.
Agreed!!!
Gilda Radner, john Belushi, Jane curtain should of been top 3!!! They were the best and funniest and paved the way for the others!!! Oh and Dan Akroyd should be up there also!!!
You can throw Bill Murray in as well, then Eddie, Farley, Carvey Meyers and Hartman
You got everyone in reverse order.
OMG, I totally agree! John Belushi should have been one or two, as well as Gilda Radnor. I also find it insulting that they didn't mention Jon Lovitz. He could have at least been a nominee. 🙄
The only one amongst the top five that I thought made sense was Eddie Murphy.
@@avianearth2397 although will ferrel wouldn't be #10, he'd probably still be high around #6 or #5. Also if this was made after 2014, kate Mckinnon would be here, and bill hader should've been here. This list is super weird and outdated too.
John Belushi is the best one!
@@avianearth2397 John Lovitz is some kinda right-winger so he doesn't get the love lol
@@RenewedRS lol I still love him as Annoying Man
Bill Murray an Honorable Mention?!?!! 🤨🤨🤨
MACTackleBox hy
As always Watch Mojo is out of touch with reality
This is honestly a list you can't make a top 10 out of mojo
it is too much talent that came in and out of the show that was amazing
mojo can. mojo also can upload 480p to youtube in twotousand-freakin-sixteen...
but i agree, there is no way creating a justified top 10 of that.
You hit the nail on the head. Some of the ones on this list, is why I stopped watching at times.
you are right about that
Well Mojo the responses to your list are MOJO - 0 Viewers 10. Oh...no Steve Martin mention?? Was you head stuck in the "john: when you took a crap?
My 2 cents:
Best Guest Host:
Steve Martin: 15 SNL guest host appearances, 1976=2009
Best SNL Cast Members:
15-Hader
14-Fey
13-Sandler
12-Curtain
11-Farley
10-Carvey
9-Radner
8-Hartman
7-Myers
6-Chase*
5-Ferrell
4-Akroid
3-Murphy
2- Murray
1- Belushi
* Chevy Chase was an SNL cast member for only 1.5 seasons (1975-6), but as the NY Times put it: "Strange as it sounds, Chase might be the most underrated SNL player. It took him only one season to define the franchise ... without that deadpan arrogance, the whole SNL style of humor would fall flat."
Interesting, what do you think of Samberg?
dude not only is kristen wiig one of the most vital female performers on snl, she's just one of the most vital performers on snl or any comedy show ever.
also chris farley
ALSO BILL HADER
ALSO WILL FERRELL
but kristen wiig's still my favorite so never mind
and tina fey
No, Kristen Wiig sucks and is overrated
I vehemently disagree.
***** Sorry to hear that you have no good taste in comedy.
Gino Simplicio I mean, we can't be too hard on him...he's a fan of wwe. it's possible he just hasn't been exposed to the right kind of entertainment. deprived. :(
Jace Naughton
Nope, not kidding at all. I don't really appreciate being called delusional, or calling others delusional...but surely you must be, if you think Adam Sandler belongs above her on the list. But hey, that's the fun thing about opinions! They're different for everyone. Thanks for commenting though.
Number one: Gilda Radner. Very funny, creative as hell, versatile, and very cute. That’s my two cents worth.
Yes. And Bill Murray at least in the top five.
Totally agree. I still think of her and her sketches from time to time. "The Judy Miller Show" is all of us.
explain to the folks at home why norm macdonald isn’t on this list
Because there are more than ten people funnier?
Walter Green agree to disagree i guess
Brilliant deadpan
@@WalterGreenIII you are a real jerk
F T you know, the more i hear about that guy the less i like him
My 10:
1. Phil Hartman
2. Eddie Murphy
3. Chris Farley
4. Dan Aykroyd
5. Will Ferrell
6. Bill Hader
7. Kate McKinnon
8. Dana Carvey
9. Gilda Radner
10. Kenan Thompson
Long live Phil! 😢
My top 10 in no particular order: Belushi, Murphy, Carvey, Hartman, Radner, Aykroyd, Ferrell, Myers, Murray, Farley
+Randy Bailin So, basically this list, but with Bill Murray instead of Wiig
+Randy Bailin That's a really good list.
+steve hardman Correct. With the exception of Myers and Murray, the other 8 are automatic.
+Randy Bailin Hartman and Farley are my favorites.
Randy Bailin And Jane Curtain!
No way Will Farrell should be #1....
Shouldn't even be on the list.
Darrell Hammond, Kate McKinnon, Molly Shannon, Tina Fey or Amy Poehler? I love this list, but it's almost impossible to limit the best cast members to just 10.
If you don't love Gilda Radner, you have a serious problem. How I miss her. Rest in peace Gilda, there will never be another like you
"Do you agree with our list?"
No.
This is where "10s lists" always falls flat, especially where the cast members span well over 40 yrs, there's a mountain of real talent cut.
Hey! I was gonna comment that! :-(
Meyers is not to five!
I think its more your fault for assuming people on youtube should be as educated or even share your opinion at all
Not in the least.
No Norm McDonald? That's disappointing
Norm: Every comedians favorite comedian.
I agree with all the comments following. Nobody compares to the original cast. These are the people everyone else has to live up to. Radner set the bar and I have not been impressed since. All the others have been good in their on right. But, Will Ferrell? Put him at 11.
Kristen Wiig is very underrated. Some of the funniest things I've ever seen she did
John Belushi shouldn't be 10 he was originator
will Farrell?!?!? what?!?
Well, I agree Belushi shouldn't be number 10 but I do think Will Ferrell deserves to be on the list, maybe not number 1 but definitely one of the top 10. That's just my opinion though.
I agree with that fully ... By no means is ferrel the beat comic.. I mean they could chose Eddy Murphy or someone come on.
Micki Slade, You sound horribly resentful and angry. Who would YOU pick instead?
To do this justice, you need to do the top 25.
Putting John Belushi as #10 means you INSTANTLY have zero credibility.
Bingo. He's the defacto #1
Belushi is Over Rated. Sentimentally for Dying Young is not part of an Equation
His death at 33 has nothing to do with it. He was already several years removed from SNL. Chris Farley, on the other hand, obviously was given that benefit. #2? Please. He was funny and a sweet guy, but one-dimensional.
he’s hella sexist, it would be controversial to put him higher
THATS THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Gilda at No. 9? No. 9? No. 9? NOOO! She will always be No. 1 on my list. She killed it in every sketch weather she was the main focus or not. She set the standard for all the female cast members that came after her. RIP Gilda!
I think Phil Hartman should have been higher on the list. Certainly before Mike Meyers. Hartman had more range.
Bill Hader was one of the few reasons I watched SNL
really? No Tina? C'mon - SNL owes their comeback to her!!! Great on Camera, and Great writer too. You totally blew it!
I have to agree.
Tina is defnitely in my top 3 of SNL. A shame these clowns didn't even see fit to show her even once. Shameful...
@GoodRiddanceGooglePlus I believe they mean that at the time that Tina Fey was a cast member of SNL, the show experienced a comeback.
1# Farley
2# Belushi
3# Ferrell
4# Murphy
5# Radner
