    This was an excellent step by step video! Thanks so much. Also, thank you for including the model year in the video. I found some other videos and it’s a little different. Also the hardest part of this change out was with the metal clip in the light housing. What a pain! Thanks again for the helpful video!

    Thanks so much for the video Joe. It made the job so much easier after watching your video. I just changed my wife's headlights and the new ones are so much better.
    Thanks again.

    Watched another video and couldn’t get it back installed. Thank you so much - this was infuriating, but your orientation helped tremendously!

    Had no issues with the right side getting replaced. The left side was such a pain because of the fuse box in the way. It took me about 30 minutes to get it done

    Saw the length of the video and was like, "This is probably gonna be a terrible tutorial" 50 seconds later I was able to do what I needed without even having to double check the video 😂 thanks!

    Great tutorial for years to come! My 2013 CRV headlamp just went out. (I tapped the headlight and it came back on.) If a simple tap on the headlight cover makes it come back on, what are the chances it's something other than a bad bulb? Time for a replacement pair #9003 is in stock at my local AdvanceAuto. Thanks!

      Sometimes a bulb will act that way when it’s dying. I would start with new bulbs and see how it goes.

      @@JoesCarSmartsNY Thanks. Just picked up 2 basic 9003 Sylvania bulbs (lite blue package) for my '13 CRV at Walmart - $9.77 ea. Advance Auto was $33/pair and Autozone was $18ea - same bulbs as Walmart! UPDATE: They're in and working fine- so far. Thx again. Anyone else reading this. If you're unable to latch the spring, make sure the bulb is properly seated. If you happen to bump the glass of the bulb against the harness with that dielectric grease (like I did), wipe it down with 91% rubbing alcohol to make sure it's absolutely clean. Also, make sure the boot is totally snapped-in around the entire circumference.

    Thanks. Does it have to be replaced on both sides? Can I choose to replace only one if the other one is fine?

    • @JoesCarSmartsNY
      @JoesCarSmartsNY  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can replace one at a time. However, the bulbs tend to die at nearly the same times. You will likely see the other one blow in a week to a month. So, that’s why people will just do both to save the hassle when the other goes.

      @@JoesCarSmartsNY Thanks for the smart response! Looking for a replacement for my 2013 CRV front turn indicator bulb. It has deemed and that is causing the blinking to be rapid (I think is the cause). I am not sure if I should go for a LED or an incandescent. Some say LED is not bright enough. What's your take?

    • @JoesCarSmartsNY
      @JoesCarSmartsNY  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SujitKumar-tr1kz I like LEDs. They last a long time and I think they’re bright enough. I had LED headlight bulbs and I like them. Auxito is a brand that has all kinds of car LED bulbs. Auxito.com
